There was some graffiti in the box truck of a penis and my 12 year old niece seen it. The person helping us felt horrible about it. He was a perfect gentleman and was a great help to my sister. I found him to be pleasant and well suited for his job. He did excellent.

This rental facility attached a HUGE bag of moving blankets and a moving dolly to the back end of the truck inside the storage area, which decreases the usable space inside the truck. I did not ask for, nor do I have any use for, these items, and I feel it is a tacky sales ploy to take away a portion of the usable space I have PAID for in the hopes I will "break the seal" and use these items and pay you more money. This is the only location I have experienced this questionable sales tactic. (Just rented a uhaul truck a month & a half ago and this sleazy practice was not employed). The VERY LARGE bag apparently has 5 moving blankets inside and says, "just break the seal to add this to your move!" (for whatever fee). Same thing with the dolly. 1. I have my own dolly. Actually, I have 2, different sizes. 2. I don't have any use for moving blankets. Everything is in boxes. 3. They DID NOT EVEN ASK. Just had these items in the back, attached to the wooden load boards inside the truck bed. Their presence is inconvenient, as it forces you to walk around them (they stick out at least a couple feet) and the bottom line is that I'm not getting the 17' of usable space I paid for with this rental.

The gas tank should be full for the customer check out. The vehicle I checked out had less than half a tank. This causes the customer to overfill at the gas station for the return to the U-Haul dealer. Also, return time should be notated/updated at checkout. I rented for 24 hours, placing pickup at 4:00 p.m.. Due to another customer before me my checkout time was 5:00 and the staff member told me to bring it back at 5:00 the following day but forgot to notate that on the paperwork. I received a telephone call from another staff member while I was in route to return the truck which he stated was late. I was not charged an additional day.

I should not have to pay for service that I am not using. There should be a refund for days that are not used. The only option was to rent for 3 days and I only needed the truck for 1. i will look for better options the next time I rent.

I feel like the associate wasn't honest in the best solution for our travel needs. It would have been cheaper to do the one way route and less time consuming but he told us it would not be.

I went in to the store on Monday and had a truck reserved for a move on Sat morning (I also reserved a dozen blankets/pads). I received a call on Wed telling me the truck wouldn't be available, and requested that I take it on Thursday or Friday instead! Very inconvenient since I had movers scheduled already. So, i agreed to pick the truck up on Fri morning instead. When I arrived Fri, i was informed the computer was down for the last 45 minutes and no trucks could leave the store! Now, I have my rescheduled movers standing around with nothing to do, wasting the day away. I asked if they could do a contract manually (you know, like the good old days where you use a pen and a pre-printed contract form) and they said everything is on the computer! So, no contingency's down, business stops! I came back 1 1/2 hours later and it was back up and running. I asked if the pads were in the truck and the employee informed me that the last customer just took them all! What's the point of reserving the stuff if it's just gonna be handed to someone else? Long story even longer...this was a very frustrating, stressful, and costly experience during an already stressful moving situation! I will never visit this store again, nor would I recommend it to anyone!!! Nobody even seemed to care...wasn't any skin off their backs! They were still at work, getting paid, with nothing to do while unhappy customers swarmed in misery! A crisis situation for sure! Get it together, do your job with a little urgency and empathy! If I had that attitude in my job, people would die! Very dissatisfied!

We reserved a dolly and moving blankets when we reserved the truck online. The representative called In the morning to confirm pick up time and I asked to make sure the furniture blankets and dolly were available. He told me that he could find a dolly but no blankets would be available. I asked if he could locate some since I had 2 hours before pick up. He replied no but there are a lot of UHaul facities and I could check with them to see if they had blankets. He then told me that the online process wasn't doesn't always pick up additional items. I then asked if he was looking at my order and he said yes. I asked if the blankets were on the screen he was looking at and he again said yes. Not sure how the online is less than 100% if the entire order was on his screen. I was really hoping for a 1 stop rental...not the case. I called around but since it was last minute none of the other facilities had blankets either. I honestly don't feel it was my job to search for items to complete the order.

clean out truck better, pop cans left behind, also and more importantly, the drivers side mirror would move each time we hit a bump in the road or closed the door. MOST IMPORTANT; we had a flat tire...tread came off of rear right outside tire 20 miles from our starting point(Phoenix). Another flat tire just outside of El Paso Texas, inside left back tire.

I had made a reservation for 3 pm pick up on 05/29/15. I had to wait in the store for 45 minutes until the truck I reserved arrived. When it did arrive, the employee, Joseph, did not walk me through the truck and said that he just needed to get the blankets and dolly out of the truck. He also told me the gas was at a little more than a quarter tank and to bring it back at at least a quarter tank. I dropped the truck off at 115 on 05/30/2015. Josh, the employee who checked in the truck wanted to charge me $25 for clean up. There was spilled milk and french fries in the vehicle. I said I had never ate in the vehicle and told him my story from the previous day and that Joseph never walked me through the vehicle. He suggested in the future I walk through it as that I am signing that the vehicle is clean. I said I am not the one who is employed at U-haul and why should I know the policies and suggest that someone walk ME through the vehicle. Also Joseph never said "by signing this you are stating the vehicle in clean condition".Another customer was returning their truck at the same time and said Joseph had never walked him through the vehicle either. I told Josh I would clean the truck if I was to be charged because technically I still had it until 3 pm and I wasn't paying an extra $25. He said he would not charge it because I said it was not mine, but he had a poor attitude in his delivery. I asked him about the $50 reservation guarantee considering I had to wait 45 minutes for my reservation and he suggested I contact U-haul. Moving is a stressful situation in itself, but the way your employee's carried themselves did not help. I would like to be contacted about my experience.
