I reserved a 26' Uhaul online - I get to location & tell them I am there for pick-up, the guy behind the counter says "you got the big one?". I agreed since the 26' was the largest available. I was given a 24' trailer. Well played. Next comes the gas hand - it was on 1/2 tank. Paperwork printed out 3/4 tank. He scribbled on the paperwork, signed the paperwork & told me he would correct it. I dropped off the Uhaul at night, & was sure to enclose the paperwork he had given me so that I was not charged for gas, as I refilled the tank to over 1/2. Then I get my (additional) bill, which was automatically debited from my account. I was charged $0.99 per mile vs the $0.79 stated when I reserved the Uhaul. I also was charged for gas as though the Uhaul originally had 3/4 tank; clearly the guy had not corrected & clearly they ignored the attached paperwork with the key (which I did copy before putting in the drop box). I then called the store for 2 days & they did not answer. It went to a recording & I was transferred to Nebraska. The fella I spoke with says when the store doesn't answer, you are routed to any Uhaul store. I then filled out an online complaint under the contact form & received a call from the store the following day that they were correcting the gas charges. My account was credited back. Now I have received an additional bill, via email, to include a $30 late payment fee. Are you serious?! I will NOT be paying this!! This Uhaul experience continues to be a complete nightmare and I will NEVER again, in life, rent another truck from Uhaul. Just. Awful.

The truck was pulling to the right a great deal as well as there was damage to the top of the truck which lead to holes being in the roof leading to possible damage from rain.

Seems odd that you have to wait in line to start then go look at your vehicle then come back in and wait in line again. With a lot of customers, that could be very time consuming. Have used this location for years. They are always helpful and friendly.

Next time dont give away my 26` truck and call me the day before and say "we can give you a 24` truck but at a further location which caused me to add miles to the truck rental. I should of been able to move in under 30 miles instead of 45 which costed me more money and more gas.

SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. I reserved a truck for an 8:30 pickup. I arrive around 8:35 and I do not leave the premises until after 9. The woman checking me out did not know what she was doing and her co-workers "help" was below par. I had reserved a 14 ft truck with a regular dolly. When I arrived to check out we see a special on the board for a dollie and pads for $10. When we inquired about this special your employee told us that it was for the regular dollies only and that we had requested an appliance dollie. However, that was not what I had requested and it was not what was already on the truck. It took over 30 minutes for your employee to figure out that all she needed to do was delete the appliance dollie off the request forms and then give me the $10 deal. This conclusion she and the other workers there were only able to get to because I had asked if they could just do that. I do not know the level of experience of this employee, however I figure that she was new. But her coworkers seemed to have a bit of experience and would tell her small pieces of what to do and then walk away. Why they didn't stand by her and help complete the check out process is beyond me. Why they couldn't come up with the conclusion that was finally reach baffles me. I am displeased with the service these employees gave to me. We waited in line for the woman to figure how to check us out while 3 customers checked out in a line beside us. As stated before I expected her other coworkes to come to her aide. I expected this because they were no very busy that morning. The 3 customers that checked out before me were not all in line. They just steadily came in. The woman checking them out had plenty of time to help her coworker standing right beside her figure out what the issue was and check me out in a reasonable amount of time. No one in that facility seamed concerned that we had been there over 30 minutes trying to get the truck while the average time it took for the other customers was approximately 5-7 minutes. When I returned the truck to the same location I was prepared for more headache. However, the workers there were different and got me out of there quickly and explained my bill thoroughly. However, the quality of work I received returning the truck did in no way make up for my experience earlier that morning. I will not being using Uhaul services again.

For 2 wknds in a row I used Uhaul. The first time I got back a fairly descent refund. The second time wasn't as much, yet I traveled less miles on the second trip and it was returned quicker. Don't know why my refund was less than the first time but for the overall experience, the job was completed.
