I was greeted unpleasantly by the counter associate. He went ahead and rang me out with a diff price than the one I was quoted. Then proceeded to tell me that he can't make change even though he had just quoted me the rate....when I returned for the car trailer, it was assembled in a rush. The trailer brake lights were not checked until I asked for them to be checked. After my request, the associate realized that the elect cable was not working. Overall, very poor experience.

My only complaint regards some confusion regarding what type of gas I could purchase. There was a label by the gas cap that read "E-85" which is difficult to find in Little Rock. The attendants told me that they just use regular unleaded. Therefore i had to purchase gas from U-Haul at $5 per gallon. If you can use regular gas then the label should be removed.

Fuel gauge wasn't working properly. ABS light stayed illuminated. The mileage charge was a twist. Considering I picked the unit up at 1700hrs and returned it at 2330hrs total roundtrip mileage of 36.0mi approximately. The $28.60 for mileage was steep. In addition to the inaccurate fuel reading requiring additional fuel purchase to dislodge the stuck float in the tank. No credit is issued for the fuel.

The truck that I rented was not up to the standard I have experienced in the past. First, after I put gas in the truck the ABS warning light came on. I contacted Roadside assistance and they tried to tell me it was just because I had driven through water. I used to sell mid-size trucks the answer was not good. Finally they said I could drive the truck but would not have any ABS but the brakes would still work. By then I had lost almost 2 hours so I asked Roadside assistance about compensation, they said I would have to call customer service. Phone customer service first person I spoke to hung up on me, the second person was named Sally and promised to call me the following day after 10 AM Central. Sally said they would speak to her supervisor and see what kind of compensation would be authorized. I never got a call back. The ABS warning light would sometimes go off and then come back on. To make matters worse some of the wood tie down rails in the back of the truck were not even attached they pulled away when I attempted to secure the items I was moving. The steering on the truck was very loose which made it much harder to keep in the lane of traffic. The gas gauge moved back and forth as much as a 1/4 of a tank making it impossible to know just how much fuel the truck really had. The gear indicator did not light up at night so you had to open the door to see what gear you were in. When I arrived at the location where I needed to unload the vehicle the parking brake did not want to hold even though the transmission was in Park and the parking brake said it was set the truck rolled forward several feet. The failure of the parking brake happened on two separate occasions. There was a sharp metal burr on the driver’s side door which cut my thumb when I was opening the door to get into the truck. If this truck was a horse it would need to be shot. I had my wife phone customer service to let the location where I was taking the truck back to that we needed to talk to them about the safety issues of the truck, the customer service rep said they had contacted them. I arrived a few minutes past closing time and even though someone was still there they said that customer service had never phoned and that I should just drop the key in the night drop. They said any issues should be taken up with customer service, the same group that had repeatedly not done what they said they would do. The day after I dropped off the truck I attempted to contact someone at the Kanis location, I did someone on the phone I told them I needed to talk to someone about my bad experience, the phone went dead. I attempted to call back and got someone at a call center, this person said they had sent a message to the manager and she had acknowledge it and would call me later, I never got a call. The main reason I wanted to speak to the manager was to tell them that this truck needed serious attention before it was rented out again; no one wanted to listen. The

This Kanis Uhaul location is great! The guy who made my reservation at the Chenal location was also great and friendly and very informative. As for the guy that i tried making my original reservation with, who's office is on Cantrell, he was horrible! He never called me back to confirm my reservation and if i had waited on him before calling another location i wouldn't have been able to rent a truck for the day and time i needed it. DO NOT USE HIM! I've read a lot of bad reviews about him since my experience.

Find employees capable of doing their job. I rented a trailer. When we went outside to hook up, we were told the trailer we rented wasn't there and they gave me another one. The person who did my contract came outside and told me he had taken care of the paperwork to change trailers. I returned my trailer to mena, ar but was charged 29.95 for returning it to tulsa. I called uhaul and was told they would investigate and call me back within 72 hours. I have yet to hear back from anyone almost 2 weeks later. Find another place to rent from.

Had my trailer for my car in a different location and didn't tell me till time to pick up my truck. Wanted me to drive there drop off my car pick up truck then back 20 min pickup trailer. Drop back off Akins location load then back to pickup trailer/car. After sometime and my requests kanis picked up. Keys for my truck at different location. Booked me wrong size truck, filled up with gas then needed to change for larger. Took so long missed my movers on both ends!!!! Cost me an extra $550!!!! Horrible exp

Make sure Uhauls are available at the location requested before sending confirmation text that they are. My location for pick up was changed twice, so then I had to pay an extra 15 miles in mileage to bring the uhaul back.

Wanted a 10 10 storage building. Walked for 4 ever. The 10x 10 was more like a 10x5 with a 10 foot ceiling and surely would not expect to carry furniture all that way. Had to go to a different place to get storage.
