The truck is very worn and in bad repair. The power brake pump belt is slipping, the front end is so loose that it takes nearly half of a turn of the steering wheel to engage steering, and the engine is hard to start. The people were quite helpful but this truck is dangerous

good service. the only problem was i requested a 8 foot trailer and got a 9 foot one. I went to dump at the local landfill and the cost to dump load was triple the amount because of the weight and size of trailer.

Not a lot of parking in front, but there is some parking in back. If there isn't one already, maybe a sign that says "additional parking in back" would be helpful.

Can't say if I would or wouldn't recommend this location since it is the only one in town! Biggest complaint is that I asked and paid for a hand truck........so I got 30 miles down the road to pick up the furniture and discovered no hand truck. They had a "trainee" that busy day, he couldn't work the computer, had trouble backing the truck out of the parking spot, didn't provide the hand truck as requested, told me that they all had hand trucks in the back......Well, that is definitely NOT SO! I don't like paying for something I didn't get, and struggling to load and unload because of it.

due to unforeseen circumstances I left the U Haul store and tried to return it not 10 minutes later I spent over an hour on the phone between corporate and with the local store that I rented from em both both places told me there was no problem that the other place and do it do with it as well as the fact that I was charged $40 $20 for insurance and the mileage a5 mile that I took to drive it here to my house and back I was charged on the $75 and didn't even use it the customer service this location is piss poor and I'm very unsatisfied customer has been using u-haul for the last 15 years and I will no longer be a customer

It is simple. Have the trailer I reserved. Hook it up to my truck. Do the paperwork in a few easy steps. Be courteous and professional. Get me in and on my way quickly. That is what they do at U Haul in Lodi. Everytime I've been there that is exactly what they do. Thanks for another great experience. See you next time I need a truck or trailer, for sure.

We are waiting on Uhaul finance department to call me back because they charged me for some insurance 14$ that I declined and the guy at the counter walked me through my charging and i verbally said i don't want any insurance, then i got a paper from uHaul stating we denied insurance, but my charges on the bill show 14$ charged. I didn't look at the bill because we were busing moving and we verbally and paper trail with a separte paper had confirmation that we didn't want insurance. we just need to be credited back that charge. as you can see, we only went a few miles in the truck, so i didn't feel the need for any insurance.

The woman that helped was working at your location alone. I would suggest having at least 2 people working per shift. The wait time was long because she was busy. Your phone follow up was great.

I have been to the Lodi location 2 times. And both times, they were too busy and not staffed according to the fact that it was the weekend and it would be expected to be busy. Both times when I arrived I was not greeted.... until about 10-15 minutes after I was there. Definetly think that both locations need to work on their customer service skills. I go there for my equipment rentals only because there is NO other choice. If I had another choice I would definetly try another rental company.

Even though it says "Gentle-Ride" on the side of the truck, it was anything but gentle. The equipment was clean, but maybe the shocks should be checked. However, for the cost and distance traveled and items packed, it was just the right size and met our needs. I have rented several times from this location and they are always helpful and prepared.
