Brought my truck around and was told by an employee to park at a certain spot. Thought I was waiting to get helped except I was apparently at the wrong spot and was told to go around. I could have done that the first time but they told me otherwise. By the time I got around I sat around for over 30 minutes when I was the first one there.

Generally it was all fine, the pickup was new, and worked well, despite the damage on the unit from prior use. The location was professional on pickup, and a little less so on drop off. The gas gauge was not working properly and I put extra gas into truck, because it was showing low, when it was not. This situation was complicated because the computer entry of the pickup of the truck was wrong showing 3/4 full tank, when the correct was 3/8 full which was correct on the paperwork. It took about 30 lmins of waiting to get to someone who could make the corrections which they did do. However, the wait was totally unnecessary and caused by only one person at the counter, who would or could not prioritize and spent most of the 30 mins dealing with people who were unable to make a decision. The first wanted to buy a box for less than $10.00, and the second person could not seem to understand that his reservation for a truck and car trailer only showed for the truck. When the counter person explained that a trailer could be found, but he would have to go to the location where the trailer was, to pick it up, the young man seemed to be unable to process that info. He refused to make a decision, did he want the trailer at a nearby location or not. He wanted to continue to argue with the counter person that he had a reservation for the trailer, which he was told did not exist, but the problem was easily solved if he would pick up the trailer at a nearby location. He seemed to be unable to understand this solution, and continued to try to argue with the counter person demanding the trailer be brought to that location or something. I am not quite sure what he wanted, and I am not sure he understood the solution he was being offered was not a burden to him, just a small change of plan for him. Regardless, we were trying to just return the pickup we had rented, and correct the mistakes in the gasoline records, as above, which should have taken less than 5 minutes. But, the counter person would not wait on us until she finished with the person who could not make up her mind about buying one or two boxes, for less than $10.00, and the young man who was unable to understand the solution to the fact that the trailer he wanted was to pick it up nearby, and just wanted to argue with the counter person about the reservation. After waiting about 20 to 30 mins as the discussions summarized above continued toward seemingly no resolution, we asked the counter person to interrupt her waiting on the people described, and check us out for the return of the vehicle including correcting the mistake in the computer. She refused, and became indignant. We finally just left. A few hours later we got an email with the receipt, and the error was corrected, and everything was fine. I don't know why the counter person keep us waiting,for 30 mins or so, or why she became indignant, as a simple solution was available, and that was to do the paper

You guys make customer check the car before rent. That's ridiculus. If the customer miss damages on the car and has no insurance, you guys are trying to fuck us up. This makes no sense at all. Please change the policy that i said above and make the customer convinient. Thanks

We asked for a newer uhaul since we were driving to AZ. The rep informed us it was one that could take the drive. About 30 minutes onto the freeway the speedometer would stay at 75 miles an hour. When you pressed on the breaks it would not change. The uhual would slow down but we didn't know how fast we were going. It felt unsafe. We called to tell them the situation. They said they would note the account. Then about another hour into the drive when we would try to press on the gas it would not give. We called again to inform uhual of the situation. They offered us to call for assistance or we could drive to AZ and then speak to a manager about a refund. When we got to AZ, the manager there said that was not true and we needed to speak to the office in CA. We called them and was told we would receive a follow up call from them and so far we have not. I feel like we have been passed off and I would not want to rent from uhual again unless this mater was taken care of professionally. We felt it was an unsafe experience and was given misinformation about the proper protocol of our situation.

to improve customer experience, my advice would be to focus on the customer in front of you. One of the employees decided to intervene in a conversation between me and another employee while conducting business with a customer in front of her, which ended up causing a scene between me and her with about 8 other customers waiting. Her focus was to attempt to be "helpful", but had her end up looking disorganized, rude, and unfit for personal service when it comes to customer service. She needs to placed in a call center where she will be allowed to answer all questions, since that's what she likes to do versus handling and supporting the customer that it directly in front of her. Poor service on her part, excellent service on everyone elses.

I must go on record and tell you about the excellent customer service I got at Uhaul. First your check in process is quick and easy. After I returned my truck I realized my cll phone was dead, so I couldn't call for a ride. But your sales girl w qick to u to go across he street to the drug store to buy a cheap charger. And when I returned she was kind enought to take my phone and charge it for me so that I was able to call for a ride. Thank you so much. A++++
