This location was pretty rundown. The truck/parking lot was chaotic. Ordered a 17 footer - they only had 15 footer when we arrived - had to make due with a 15 footer

The pickup location was closed due to the 4th of July pickup date, which was known by all parties (and was printed on my receipt) and I was alerted via email to go to a different one. Email didn't help because I came straight from an airport to the location and had to call and ask what was going on. Typically a bad start when preparing for a 500 mile journy. I can't comment on the pickup location as it was closed, thus my N/A selection for the above question. It was also marked "poor" because of your error, not mine.

The overall look is a little shabby but I guess all truck rental places may not be very different. Justin did a good job. Gave me an excellent new vehicle. Since I drove less than what I had anticipated, the miles were adjusted accordingly and charged. Recommended.

The location was filthy, trash everywhere. The truck was clean, but the power steering is not working. When backing up or pulling into the driveway it was extremely hard to turn the wheel. The ps reservoir was full, so it had plenty of fluid. It was a very difficult move last night, because of the truck.

Now here is another story.thr guy in sagus never told me to call help desk for drop off. When I reached at Lowell the guy told me I can't find you and it is not my job to call help desk. Come on I was at uhaul office and he refuses to take keys and want to charge me extra bucks. I calked infront of him to help desk, they yokx me am all set to leave the truck, but the guy at Lowell office still refuses to take a truck. He can't find me on the system. Terrible day with uhaul.

My original 26' truck I reserved a month ago did not arrive in haverhill ma. Called corporate. DrI've to Lowell ma for 20' instead. I will never reserve online again....they had nothing else available anywhere. They made up for it. I lost 4 hours moving with 3 men.

Try maybe not having a 45 minute wait for my truck that I had reserved for 10AM. Or maybe having two lines, one for people who actually thought ahead and made a reservation, and one for walk-ins. 45 minutes is unacceptable.

First time doing business with U-Haul and I am not happy about their service. The staff of this location (Lowell, MA) seemed always in a rush and went over all important information in 20 seconds! I was tricked by their documents saying the truck had a full gas tank and later found it was not (which was unprofessional and dishonest). The girl who handled my order did not do the inspection with me and left quickly once she gave the key. So I had no chance to tell her the gas was not full. Then I was charged for the gas fee! Be extra careful with the staff and don't let them go until go over all the important list!!

The General Manager was professional and polite, but he was not engaged or helpful. I arrived at 1:50 PM for pickup. After 25 minutes of paperwork we went to hook up the trailer. After it is connected he asks me where the lighting harness is. I ordered everything on-line and the on-line process walks you through "everything you need". I imputed my vehicle information. I purchased a hitch. It never says anything about a lighting harness. When I tell the GM I don't know, he says nothing. I have to ask him what I need to do. He tells me "you can't pull a trailer without working lights." I understand that. I ask him what do I need to do to have working lights. He tells me "you need a lighting harness." I ask if he does that. He says "No." I ask him who does. He says "I can go to the UHaul in Nashua or to a dealer." I tell him no problem, fine, I'll go have the lighting harness installed and come back and I ask him what time they are open until. He tells me "7:00 PM." The GM wants to go inside and credit the rental back to my credit card. We go back inside and go through the reverse of the sign out process, another 15 minutes, and I leave. By then it is 3 PM. I go to the dealer, have the lighting harness installed. The Honda dealer asks me what I am towing. I explain the above situation and tell him a 4'X8' UHaul trailer. The Honda dealer asks me if I have an adapter for the lighting harness. I tell him no, I have never heard of an adapter for the lighting harness. The Honda dealer explains, offers to me, the lighting harness for the Honda Pilot is a 7-Pin connector, the lighting assembly for the UHaul 4'X8' trailer is a 4-Pin connection and I will need an adapter. I ask the Honda dealer if he caries the adapter. He says No. I ask if the UHaul place will have them. He says, don't chance it... go to the auto parts store and get the adapter. I do that. I begin my drive back to the UHaul place. It is after 5 PM. I call ahead to tell the GM I am on my way back, that I have the lighting harness and I picked up a 7-Pin to 4-Pin adapter. I ask him if there is anything else that I need. The GM tells me "No." I arrive at the UHaul place around 5:50 PM. I walk in and say to the GM, "Phew, I got it all done and made it back." Being friendly with him, breaking the ice. The GM looks at me and says straight faced, "What can I help you with." I thought he was kidding. I chuckle and ask him... remember me, the 4"X8" trailer, the lighting assembly?... I hand him the paperwork he gave me when I left. He asks me if I reserved the trailer. At this point I am confused. I said, no, I was just here at 2 pm, you hooked up the trailer, I didn't have a lighting assembly, I told you I would go have it installed and come back. He says to me, "Do you know how many people say they are coming back." I ask him if he is kidding and tell him, I just called you on the ride back to tell you I was coming back and to ask you if there was
