The man who took the truck back was rude, disrespectful and acted like a punk. We were very nice but he even had rude comments as we were leaving aimed at us. Discusting.

We were not informed at the time of our reservation that we would need to pick up our car trailer at a different location. This threw a major wrench into our plans and nearly put me over the edge. I don't know if that is the responsibility of the online order form or the loacation itself, but it was a terrible mistake.

It was my nephew who actually drove the truck though he never complained about any thing about the service we recieved when we got there every thing was on schedule. There was one thing i did not understand, I wanted to pay in cash but the gentleman said it would be more money to do it that way. So I had to use my debit card which I really didn't want to. Other than that I would have to say the experience was very pleasant. The gentleman was very nice and went through all the information Very good experience and yes I would go there again and yes I would reccomend them to my friends.

the email switching locations was VERY late; I was on my way to one 20 minutes away which I found to be closed. When I went online with my reservation number they had no record of it. On hold on the phone WAY too long

Charged me for an extra day and won't refund the total amount they charged. Charged me 57.38 and only refunded 40.00. Still owe me 17.38. Have called customer service 4 times to get this done.

I was not able to pick up the truck until 3 1/2 hours after the time for which I made the reservation and I didn't know that until one day before my move. The reservations department reservation was extremely rude and had absolutely no suggestions for a solution to the problem.

I actully reserved a truck in Brighton, MA. But they assigned a truck in Lynn, MA which is very far away from where I reserved. I tried to talk to them if it is possible to bring the truck to Brighton, because I don't have a car and I didn't know how to go to Lynn. In addition to that I was not able to get the car on time since it was going to take a long time to go there. They were not helpful for this situation, they said if I want it or not, otherwise they can give that truck to someone else. They also didn't let me leave the truck in Brighton. I had to find a friend who has a car to drive there, it was stressful to try to make it on the time. We had to drive back to leave the truck. So, overall it was not a good experience for me. You should improve the process to make is easier and flexible for people. Thanks. Ezgi

The check in assistant (lady) was knowledgeable and courteous, plus put me first instead of filling up tank of prior check in customer. I loved the option to donate to conservation to plant more trees to try to offset trucking impact (I did $3). Truck was very clean and new looking Ford despite over 100,000 miles. Scheduling worked hard to guarantee my reservation on busy 8/31 move date (switched pick up location) and everything was ready as promised. Price was great, drop off was a cinch (late at night, in driving rain) and I had my contract closed with receipt by around 8am the next morning (despite a backup of 8+ trucks the night before when I pulled in). Fantastic, better than Budget (who I used last year for move, and who were pricier even with 25+ days advance booking, for 8/31 or 9/1 rental. You won a new fan!

The location was quite far from where I was needing to go/be. It would be excellent if u-haul could ensure more trucks closer to the 02130/02145 areas. I reserved for 8/32-9/1 in June and 40 minutes away was the closest available.

You have very well respectful and business minded manger Michael Gibson. My experience with this Location shared with my staff . We lived in malden ,ma and we meant to be pick our truck from Lynn,ma which is more than 7 miles from our location and I should be disappointed but the way Micheal handle our situation makes me to belief 100%, the company is good as good as their employees.

Manager was very rude. I asked customer care agent before booking if I could rent it on International Driving License. The agent said I could as long as its a valid license and will not require any additional documents. When I went to rent it, the location manager said that I needed to put my friends cars registration as collateral else "we dont have a truck for you". these were his words. such a scamster location. I will never ever rent a U-haul and will not recommend it to any of my friends.

I had rented a van from the Salem location online. Received confirmation that everything was all set. I was called 2 days later to be told a mistake had occurred and they were overbooked for that day. I was told Lynn would be the next available location. However, in doing this it raised my mileage from only having to drive about 5 miles round trip, to approximately 15 miles. I asked at the store if any sort of compensation... the manager shrugged his shoulders and said I had to pay for miles. I even asked about splitting the difference of the extra miles. I was told to, next time, not rent on such a busy weekend. If that isn't bad enough, the van they rented me did not have a working drivers side seatbelt. It was locked in place. And to finish my lovely experience, I was called an hour early and asked when I'll be bringing the van back. It was 5:03, and I was told I could have it till 6 (as per the original agreement I had). I can deal if I have to pay a little extra sometimes, but the treatment received was not customer friendly. I should also note that while in the store, another associate yelled (or at least raised his voice) at a customer for parking somewhere before even knowing who the car belonged to.

Had a weird experience when picking up my reservation. Employee thought that it was ok to speak very casually in my presence. I feel as though because I am 1. A young man and 2. Of color, this employee thought that it was ok to use various curse words in my presence. If I was a middle aged white man, I doubt he would use these slang words/vulgarities. He was a young white man by the way. The rental truck was fine though!

My original reservation was scheduled for pickup in the morning. My confirmation shows a 4:45PM pick up. The csutomer service folks at UHaul Lynnway were less than helpful. In order to get the issue resolved I had to call the UHaul customer service folks. This episode created quite a bit of stress for me.

I would rent twice as often as I did if I could get through the rental process faster. I just needed a trailer for a couple of hours but it took almost 20 minutes from start to finish.
