The best experience I had was when I booked my reservation with Christie. I have been in Customer Service for over 30 years and this was the best phone experience I have had in along time. They guy at the counter OK. but not exceptional. But, efficient and courteous.

The manager on the shift gave me erroneous information regarding the cost of the insurance for the rental. Please retrain your staff to have the correct information regarding pricing available for the customer who is making the purchase. I had a very poor experience dealing with the staff at the Lynn location.

I returned truck with half a tank opposed to a fourth yet i still get charged extra miles. I would have thought i would get some kind of gas credit not an additional fee.

I changed my reservation last minute due to a huge change. I was told there was a truck I needed available the day I needed it... I asked multiple times if storage was also included in this transferred reservation and I was told it was. I requested a first floor level and was informed it would be free. I was pleased. When I arrive at this location, there wasnt a first floor level unit available. There was a second floor level. The GM was not apologetic at all i get it- the reservation change error was not his fault but instead of providing great customer service such as apologizing he seemed careless. He showed no care when I mentioned that I had a truck full of furniture and drove and hour there. I freakrd out at te look of the second floor level knowing. I had sofas and bedroon sets WITH NO ELEVATOR. It was a nightmare. He suggested we go to another storage company down the straight which would've charged us. His main concern was if we could unload bt 5pm (thats when they closed) we were out almost an hour later (the space is not as big as we thought. Our mattresses were jammed in there. Our furniture is ruined). He rushed us out. I left a little charcoal grill outside by accident and the next morning he called me accusing me of "purposely" leaving it behind and if I didnt pick it up by noon, he'd charge me $80 for dumpster fees. Totally unnecessary. Poor, poor, service. This location obviously does not value their customers. His cold, bland tone, snappy attitude was nerve wracking also. I will be removing my stuff!

Angel at this location does a great job. I came in to my appointment late due to some unforeseen problems, and he was still able to find me a truck so that I could get my move completed. He's efficient and courteous, and I look forward to using this U-haul again when I need a truck and that is, in most part, because of him. Thank you.

Lucy the clerk was wonderful but the location overall has extremely poor service. The vehicles are always dirty with defective equipment.

I had come in the day before and requested that a 2" ball be available for the hitch. I was told it would be there. When I came in to rent the truck it did not have the right size , and I had to purchase the ball myself. Very annoying.

The truck i treated was returned in a clean broom swept condition. However, I noticed a charge of $10 on my bill. I called questioning the charge of $10. It has been 3days I requested a call back and I have not heard back from Michael, the person that places the charge on my card.

I had to sweep the cargo van out before I put my stuff in it - that should have been seen to before I rented it. Loose sand and some dry wall screws made up most of what was on the floor mat. The van itself was terrific.

well I went in with a out of state license and i was told buy the manager that it was ok to use with my credit card, I went in advance to make sure that I had the appropiate thing to rent this truck, so the manager checked and told me that it was ok and it was verified by Michael, so there was a spanish man working there I explained the situation told him that Michael verified me, and said that if I was going to have any problems that Michael said it was ok, he stated he goes by the rules and that Michael and some lady name wendy, they are nobody's, I was like wao, arent they your bosses and he stated like I they are nobody's in that store, I was like no respect for your boss, I felt like I didnt want to rent the truck there, but i did because Michael did treat me right and with respect.

The guy who helped me was nice, but I was upset that i rushed to the location to pick up a UHAUL by 4 PM when i learned they closed at 8 PM when i got there. I ended up not needing the UHAUL so i brought back within an hour. On top of that, i paid for a full day when i had the truck for an hour. I wouldnt have minded paying the mileage and gas, but really to charge me for a full day?

i think your representative there needs to get some personality, he was a bit rude and condescending. also we ended up paying 142.00 extra for mileage. i only moved from winthrop, ma to lynn, ma and i made two trips yet he said we went 350 miles over our mileage which is impossible, yet we paid it but i believe it was wrong. i wont be using this location again.
