I was upset because I rented the van thinking I needed to fill the tank. They said it would cost $30 extra if I didn't. It took 3 gallons to drive 9 miles. I was not offered any refund for the gas.

Have enough personnel on hand during busy times to check in new clients and check out returning clients. Nothing more frustrating than having to wait in line to check in your vehicle. Iphone app did not work outside. Also in reviewing damage on vehicle taking photos with smart phone and storing on Ipad would be more accurate and more efficient.

This location is understaffed. I waited 20-30 minutes before speaking to anyone, both when I picked up and again when I dropped off. When I called on the phone, I got put on hold and gave up after 5-10 minutes.

Fuel tank was 3/4 full before leaving the lot but paperwork showed (FULL) until I forced the issue and argued with the employee about what the indicators on the fuel gauge referred to. Then he reduced the gas gauge reading to 3/4 on the paperwork and I took possession of the truck.

Lines were exceeding long. Well over 30 minute wait to pick up truck that was reserved. Separate line for people with reservations or just returning or more staff. Also truck had a headlight out.

My service sucked for 2 days straight. So the first day i reserved to pick my truck at the everett u Haul but then they called me the next morning and said that they had transferred my reservation to Lynnwood u Haul so as I showed up they told me that the u Haul truck had broken down and they would have to reserve me another spot at a different u-haul starting with the closest one which ended up being in Richmond which was an hour and half away plus traffic and in the complete opposite direction that I needed to move I refused to pay the extra gas and I was also on a deadline for when I needed to move. I was, at that point already guaranteed my $50 refund but it doesn't consider the fact my reservation got cancelled twice in a row and I had to move the next day which was nearly impossible and I had to downsize my truck to a 20 foot truck instead of the 26 foot truck which barely fit all my stuff. I have moved almost every year of my life and this was the worst experience I've ever had with u Haul shame on them considering the fact that this was the first time that I as an adult finally have moved on my own.

Very slow in office. I had already been in (45 minute visit), given all info, credit card,etc.Went over everything...twice. Took an hour. Only one employee working one (of three) station(s). Four others I saw go in and out the back room. He asked for help from the others and was totally ignored. By the time I left, the lobby was packed, with 5 separate customers. I had plenty of time to observe! All were talking amongst themselves and "Penske" was mentioned many times. People were angry at the wait. Employees (that I had seen running the counter on my first visit) were walking in and out, passing the customers as if they were not there. There is really no excuse for this kind of service. I would never go there again.

We reserved a truck with a debit/credit card as suggested by a U-Haul customer service representative who was fantastic. The truck was on standby and everything worked out well until checkout. Actually dealing with the counter person through-out at the Lynnwood WA location was uncomfortable. I believe his name is Paul. At check-in he was visibly annoyed that we didn't know the street address in tiny Des Moines WA to which we were moving. Passive Aggressive audible sigh's, grimaces and shaking his head. At checkout, as agreed on at Checkin, we presented a different card to pay and Check Out with. Took over 20 minutes and he ended up charging the card we used to reserve the truck with. As the line of people behind us reached the door he acted as a novice. Blamed Corporate U-haul several times for updating the software. Swiped the card 3 times and wasn't confident that we would only be charged once. He was arrogant and unprofessional as our group of 4 waited on him to complete the transaction. I would use U-Haul again in a second, however I will never do business at that location. P.S. New software was being installed on the Friday Aug 1st check in. Apparently upgrading from XP. The tech who was installing the software was awesome. Actually gave us some good advice regarding the next day's checkout. As we spoke about the software install, Paul was dismissive of the Tech commenting how he could have done the install. It wasn't even conversationally related, he just interjected and of-course annoyed. The guy needs a class on people skills.

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent Uhaul reservation. It is such a let down since I have been using Uhaul for many years and I always thought they were the people to turn to for my moving needs. My wife recently booked a van for us at the North Lynnwood location because of its convince to our home and the stores we had to stop at. When we arrived at the North Lynnwood location we waited in line for several minutes and then were told they moved us to South Lynnwood because they didn't have a truck for us. Now I can understand this because trucks have to get moved around but a text message to notify me while I'm driving in the morning is unacceptable. Any other good business with common sense and good customer service would have called me 24 hours in advance. Considering the penalties and hoops I would have to jump through if I canceled my reservation minutes before, I get frustrated with Uhaul's behavior. If this was a good business I would have gotten a phone call at least the evening before and not a text message while I'm driving to the location, which is illegal to read in Washington state. I received no apologizes in the store fronts for the move and costumer service on the phone did nothing for me except a link to write a review. I guess I won't be using Uhaul anymore and recommending other companies to all my friends and social media connections. Thank you for wasting my time and creating a stressful moving day.

Everything was great, only down side was it was slow checking in as several people were waiting and only 1 individual was taking care of all of us. I know its not his fault, but that was the only downside.
