I am very upset with uhaul period. Not the locations, but uhaul itself. I rented a utility trailer and it was not where I was reserved. I was sent two more places before I got what I wanted. Took me an hr an half before I got the trailer. When I called to complain the customer service agent I got was rude and I couldn't understand what he was saying. When I asked him several times to repeat himself he became harder to understand and finally he slowed down enough for me to catch every other word, but at this time I was furious! If your going to rent out equipment, you need to be certain that the equipment is going to be available at the time of pickup. I shouldn't have had to go three places to get my rental and then have to call customer service to obtain the guarantee. I was told I would be contacted once my guarantee was processed, but again was let down by uhaul and I had to contact them in order to find out the status. I will NEVER use uhaul AGAIN!!!!

The trucks need to be maintained. The alignment on the truck was terrible; ergo, wasting gas. The interior wasn't all that great either. The customer service person was great though. He answered all my questions and keep the transaction smooth and quick.

Clean out the trailer! I expected to rent a clean trailer since I know that if I return a dirty trailer I will be charged to clean it. I had to move wood furniture and the trailer I rented was full of gravel! I shouldn't have to clean up after your last customer!

During pick-up, there was only one worker available at the register and several customers were in line (including myself). Additional workers would've been helpful to assist the customers and avoid delays. The workers were very polite.

The gentleman at the counter could use some lessons in positive positioning. He could've put a more positive spin on his negative comment about returning boxes. Your website says nothing about the limit of boxes. We only had three. He just stated we don't want your whole moving stuff or house full of boxes. We had just asked if we could return some boxes for someone else to use. That was his comment before we told him how many we had which was only three. Again, it is all about positive positioning of your statement. It could've been said better. It was not customer centric. Other than that, everything else was fine.

We were charged rental and missing fees on moving pads that were not requested or in the vehicle at the time of rental ($60 missing pad fee and $20 rental). We also returned the vehicle full instead of 3/4 .

I was told by the person that I made my reservation with that the milage rate for Saturday was $.99 per mile and the rate for Sunday was $.79. I picked up the truck on Saturday and drove it a mximum of 2 miles. We then used it Sunday for my move where the majority of the miles were accumulated.In reviewing my bill, I see where they charged $.99 for all milage. If this change in the rate is correct, I should have been charged approximately $6 less for my rental.

After hours dropoff. No visible security and no way to lock the dollies and pads in the back of the truck without buying a padlock on our own to secure it. Not the best situation but we put the stuff in the cab. Would not have been a bad experience if not for the awful one we had picking up the truck.

The brakes on my vehicle were not working properly. They locked-up once when I pushed hard on the pedal. They did make a note of it.

The check-in lady did a great job! I will be renting from U-Haul again soon, I have about one or two more loads of furniture to move. On renting and returning I have to say the 3 people I delt with set the bar high for your other employees.

Uhaul charged me for an additional day because trailer wasn't back by 11am. Seriously? How can I travel 200 miles and unload a trailer and get it back before 11am?? Ridiculous if you ask me. Will not use uhaul ever again.

I returned uhaul truck back i was 7 mins passed drop off time and got charged for two days i will not rent from you guys again i own a moving company i use you guys alot penske never would have charged me for a second day to say im mad is a under statement.So you know you just lost a good customer because of this.

When a customer brings a truck back & states that its "misfiring & sputtering" I would expect another truck espcially when the cutomer has to travel 300 miles up & down mountains! The answer I would not expect to hear is "if it breaks down they (u-haul) would come out" that's not a good point when I'm carring a car hualer & a fully loaded 26ft truck! I'm NOT SATISFIED!!!

They were very helpful, hooked my trailer to my truck for me. They were very professional, and I'll use them again, if I ever need to rent a trailer. I'll also tell anyone that needs to rent a trailer, to contact U- HAUL. GREAT JOB !!!!!!

I requested the 10 ft. Truck then discovered it had no ramp. I was still going to take it, but then the driver seat lat have wouldn't move to get seat forward. My feet couldn't touch pedals (5'3) the agent had to come out and help me move seat. He jammed it so far forward that now my knees were against the dash. When I tried to move it back it went all the way back again. No explanation or apologies from agent. I finally said this was not acceptable and requested another truck. There was another 10 ft. On lot, but he insisted that I had to move up to a 17 ft. He charged me additional fee for that truck even though the smaller was not functional. He definitely gave me the impression that I was way too much trouble. The second truck did have ramp but the door to storage area stuck and was difficult to open. We loaded the items and then could not pull the door back down. I had to drive back to store where another agent was tall enough to pull the door down. Again, no explanation or apology. When I commented that a can of WD 40 would be a good investment for the business he laughed. Ha Ha. I didn't point out that my comment was a suggestion and not a joke.

I reserved the truck and 12 furniture pads more than a week in advance. I called the day before we were to pick up the truck. They informed me we would be receiving a 14' truck rather than a 10' truck for the same price. This was fine. When we arrived, they told us they had no furniture pads for rent. I asked them to check several other locations close by. She said they had no furniture pads either. I told her why didn't someone tell us. We could have rented them at the other end before we left. They had them. I told her we were moving a dining room suit, and we needed furniture pads. I was upset because there should have been communication they did not have them so I could have made other arrangements! She finally told me she had three used furniture pads I could use, and she would not charge us for them. I appreciated that even though I needed more than three. Your company needs a system to let customers know if something isn't available at the location where you are picking up your truck especially if a reservation has been made far in advance.
