You need to get rid of the gas-station pick up places. Those people do not know what they are doing. The regular u-haul locations are fine.

Line moved to slow far too slow especially because the customer in front of me had not reserved ahead of time and I had. What is the point of reserving online if I have to wait in line for 20 minutes anyway?

The wait in line to pick up truck was lengthy, but overall great service. I guess to improve I would have a line specifically for reserved trucks pick up maybe that would cut down the wait in line.

I arrived at the exact time I'd scheduled my drop off, 6pm. There was a long line and only one young girl working at the counter. Each transaction was lengthy and the line moved slowly. After a long day of moving, I was tired and sore.....standing in line was not something that I wanted to do. One customer didn't have enough money to complete his transaction. There was no manager or supervisor to step in. At one point the girl was reduced to tears and went into her own purse and gave the customer $20 so that the transaction could be completed. It took close to an hour before I could complete the drop off and get my deposit refunded. I can't believe that on a Friday night this store only had one person working the counter.

Friday was a busy day at this location and with only 4 employees the line built up at the front desk. HOWEVER, there was a fair amount of hustle by all of them to get people through the process of pick up/ drop off. It must be noted that the customers in front of me only had 80 of the 100 dollars needed for a deposit or something and after getting overwhelmed with the situation and in an effort to keep the line moving the front desk agent (Angela I believe) gave the customer 20 of her own dollars with only the promise they’d return the 20 when they returned the truck the next day. Personally hope they brought back 40 and that girl deserves recognition of some type!

I made a reservation in advance, however the process to pick up the Uhaul took almost an hour. There was some confusion with the Sales representative being able to understand my preference on dollys and it ended up with him adding the incorrect model to my reservation (possibly my fault as I described it as “the tall dolly with two wheels used to move boxes”), I ended up with appliance dollys instead of the utility dollys. This really shouldn’t have been a big deal as I quickly realized there was confusion and I had been give the incorrect equipment when I inspected the truck. However when I explained the problem to the sales representatives (fully recognizing that some of the confusion may have been caused by my initial description) they were unable to modify the reservation, which ended up with me being over charged (not a huge deal) and extensive time at the counter. What should have been a simple correction took almost 45 minutes. It appeared this was a result of complication in the system and not being able to modify the reservation. This whole process took way longer than it should.

I had a great experience at both locations and with everybody I spoke to. The people I spoke with at the 800 number and at your Manchester location were very personable and very accommodating. I will absolutely use U-Haul again (if necessary) and would be happy to recommend them to anyone I know who needs a service like this.

Through the gears of renting from uhaul this has been the best experience. It used to take forever to get all the paperwork done and get a truck. This time was much more efficient and speedy and the return was great with no need to go inside. Nice going uhaul.

The steering on this truck was like it was connected by rubber bands. I felt very nervous driving it and it is unquestionably dangerous. It should have never been allowed out on the road.

The wait time to check-in/out seemed a bit lengthy, but on returning the truck they were very busy, so it was understandable. They saved me $50 off the internet rate, plus gave me an extra day and 30 miles if I returned it to their location, which was fantastic for me and worked out better. I was very happy and would use UHual again.

I rented a vehicle on 11 July at 3pm. I returned it fueled and cleaned at 830pm. The next day I received the bill in which they charged me for two days. The location refuses to act, I've been getting the run around all week between them and the call center. It's been over a week and still no actions have been taken. The manager at this location is obviously an absentee and cares not what is going on at his location.

My online reservation and contract was for pick up at Manchester North 435 Hooksett Rd Manchester. On arrival they coud not locate the trailer I reserved. They contacted South Willow St, who happen to have one. I had to go to So. Willow St to pick it up. The personnel at both locations were polite and efficient. But someone at an 800# gave a customer an extension on their rental of the trailer without informing Manchester North. I am owed the $50 online rebate for the trailer not being at the location at the time I needed it. I have reported this to your customer service dept. KUDOS to So. Willow ST for making it right.

Interior of truck was dirty. (dried carrot under driver seat, soda bottle behind passenger seat). Oil change reminder light was on when I picked up truck, no one seemed concerned and did not reset light. I had to look it up and figure out how to do it myself. Truck was i.5 Qts low on oil. had to point his out to staff. Broken glass in cargo bay. swept out truck prior to loading. Truck leaked water on my belongings. There was tape inside the cargo area I guess to mark a leak, but no one informed me of the leak. No serious damage to my belongings, but I am disappointed nonetheless. I spent a large amount of money for my budget to move my belongings and It could have been a disaster. Air conditioner went out on truck 300 miles from destination. Uncomfortable but not a disaster.

To my knowledge their's nothing that can be improved on, because there were no issues at all to begin with. I only wish that the charitable donation for non-profit organizations with a 501 c (3) could obtain a truck/trailer without having to wait the 3 weeks for approval. Other than that you guys were GREAT!!!
