We had to buy a light connector for the trailer lights. U-haul was out of the inexpensive ones. I wound up having to pay twice as much for the connector. They were helpful in hooking up the trailer.

I'm submitting a complaint about reservation # 92483619 as I spoke with Robin Smith in customer service and I understand my reservations are now tied. I made the reservation for two U-Box units on Monday night with reservation # 92483619. When I made this order I also reserved two trucks. One in Manchester, NH on 7/8 and one in Paso Robles, CA on 7/23. I was only given reservation # 92483619 for the entire reservation. After I made the reservation I never received an email or text confirming the reservation. The next day I was able to view my order online for the UBox units only, but did not see the trucks and could not set up an account. I called and was told my email and phone number were not in the system with my order. After they were set up I was able to review my account, but noticed my truck reservations were not on file. I called today, 7/1 and was informed I had to set up the truck reservations separately. I did this and was informed that the truck I needed in Manchester was not available at the original location where I was having my containers delivered. I had to then make another call to change my container delivery to the same place where I was reserving my truck. My complaint is that this has been a very time consuming process and I have had to spend more time on the phone than I have to spare with trying to move across country. My order is expensive and I would expect better customer service for the complexity of my order. I am unhappy with the customer service I have received. I would hope something can be done to compensate me for the extra time I have had to spend calling Uhaul again and again because at this point I am discouraged from doing future businss with Uhaul. The bed of the van had a smelly oily substance on it that got on some of our boxes. Attendants said it was a cleaner they use, but that the van should not have been rented until the cleaner dried. They gave us a couple of felt blankets to cover the wet floor. Also we were led to believe that the Charge of $19.95 was for the "day", but we were pushed to return the van in 4 hours because they had scheduled another party to rent it then. We said we would try to return the van within that time frame, but could not guarantee that we could, As it was, we didn't get out on the road until 35 minutes past the time we scheduled the van pickup, We did get it back a half hour past the time we said we would try to return it, However, we felt rushed to complete our tasks of moving and feel that your pushing us to return the van in 4 hours was not how you advertised the rental of 19.95 per "day". It reminded us of some other businesses that "double book" customer schedules and rush some while others apparently must wait.

The trailer was in poor condition and I rented the trailer for a week but only need it for 2 days, my card was charged a full week, even after calling about it nothing has been done... Lowes and Home Depot rent trailers I think they will be who I will need to deal with and will not be recommending Uhaul

Did not tell me everything at time of reserving trailer women at desk at pickup had a bad attitude changed story when I ordered trailer was told at time I could have someone pick up after I gave my credit card info at store they would not let him take it

I am very frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!! When I rented the truck.. there was below 1/2 a tank of gas. I brought it back the next day and filled the gas to the same spot and I ended up getting charged to fill it up to 1/2 a tank more that I was given at the time of rental... I have tried to get in touch with someone 3 times today and no one returns my phone calls.. I don't have alot of money and this is a terrible service to charge me more than was due and not even correct the problem when I need that money!!!! I'm not so sure if I will used Uhaul again.

Uhaul as a company needs to improve on the false "guarantee" they claim to have about a truck reservation. When you reserve a 17' truck for 8am on a specific date at a specific location, all that's guaranteed is that you get "something" on that day with no guarantee on size, time or location. This guarantee is ridiculous and worthless. It doesn't do anybody any good to have the ability to reserve a truck that they might or might not get.

I would not recomend this location because one of there outside personal.He was 58 skinny brown hair wearing a tanish brown rain coat.He called my daughter a bitch and the manager did nothing about it.We rented 3 trucks there over the past few weeks but I wont again and Ill be sure to tell evryone I know how they speak to there patrons.Also they never have enough help checking people in and out. Always a wait even if you made a reservation ahead Thank You thought someone should know how there employees treat people. lorraine S Barry

just to let you know, that the automatic door locks on the two back door of the van I had rented don't work, so when I returned the van when I was check-in I had mentioned it to the attendant and he said that he would have someone to check it out.

The rental personal was rude out in the yard and seemed irritated by us wanting to rent the trailer instead of helpful. Also the manager thought it was amusing that they are always out of toilet paper in the ladies room because apperently men dont use toilet paper and its not a neccisity. They woman who worked there replied with "well how do u think i feel eventually i have to pee too" to us the customer. Not customer service oriented or friendly AT ALL.

My only complaint was we are suppose to bring it back with as much gas in the tank as when we picked it up. We brought it back with more gas in the tank but was not credited for it. Overall we love u-haul
