Picked up a 26 foot truck for a one-way 1000 mile trip and within 2 hours, I was stranded on the side of the road for 3 hours because oil was spewing from the axel into the wheel well of one of the back tires. Emergency roadside assistance got me going again, but a simple check by trained staff SHOULD have noticed that before they issued out the truck.

Everything was great. I was so tired from moving...it would be nice to get a call or text the day everything is turned in, and if anything is left have the accessibility to get credit sent to you, or to card on file. If a client owes anything, they could pay online. Thanks for everything. My salesman was awesome and the vehicle technician was excellent.

THE WORKERS AT THE FRONT COUNTER WAS VERY RUDE. THE GUY THAT BROUGHT US THE TRUCK WAS VERY NICE AND TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING TO ME ABOUT THE TRUCK AND MADE SURE EVERYTHING WAS OK .. THE TRUCK ITSELF WAS CLEAN BUT RAN EXTREMELY POORLY.. A FEW TIMES IT FELT LIKE IT WAS ABOUT TO JUST FALL APART AS I WAS DRIVING THEN AT TIME LIKE IT WANTED TO CUT OFF ..

Two items of concern upon arrival. 1st I had filled the tank to EXACTLY the level it was upon acceptance, but was told I was a gallon under and there would be a $30 charge, so I ended up taking the truck back to add fuel on my own at a lower rate. 2nd, I was told I was over the mileage, when I had zeroed out the trip odometer at the pick up location, so was charged for 9 additional miles. I advised the attendant and let her know I would not argue the point for $4.00 but would place appropriate commentary upon my review. She was helpful and polite. The receiving attendant though was gruff...not impolite, but had certainly noted the fuel tank lower than it was in actuality. The little charges, fuel and additional mileage just seemed to me to be inaccurate and a rouse to increase charges. I have no problem paying for services or appropriate charges, but the end of our agreed upon contract seemed to be just unfair. Its unfortunate as I had just used U Haul two weeks prior and had a good experience and had planned to use them again at the end of this month. A few dollars is not going to break the bank, but does make a difference with me selecting a different vendor in the future.

When you call the call center Please tell your people to tell the customer everything & i mean everything you need not just a I.D....had me running around that's called lacking on the Job to me.....alot of time wasted on lack of information so please get it together!

I had a terrible experience, I rented a trailer and a dolly Friday at 3pm, and asked in advance about late drop off, this was not my first time to do it on other uhaul locations. So I dropped off the trailer at 9pm on friday along with the dolly and called Saturday morning to make sure it was received. The lady told me it was received and everything ok, I asked for the receipt and she agreed to send it by email. So I received the email a couple of minutes later, and I was happy. Then around 5pm saturday I receive a call from them again asking when I was going to return the trailer and dolly, at that moment I was at the movie theater so I called back, then a lady tells me that there must be some something wrong, but she will add a note saying that I returned it on Friday. Then comes Sunday I receive another call from that uhaul office saying that they have just received the trailer, but there was no dolly. At that moment I was getting angry, because how is it possible that they were just receiving the trailer and I dropped it off friday night, and now the dolly was missing. So I had to drive to the uhaul location to see what's going on, and the lady in the front desk tells me that the Dolly has been found, but I had to wait until Monday that the manager checks the security cameras to see if I dropped off the trailer on Friday as I say. So Monday I received another email with the final receipt and charge with proper amounts, but no courtesy call or anything. So it was a terrible experience, they ruined my weekend.

The employees were TERRIBLE!! We returned this afternoon and went inside to finalize the rental. The employee Shenisha Harris, gave standard greeting and I asked where should I park the trailer. She advised to park in a spot near the entrance. I physically looked at the spot and determined that it was NOT a parking spot. So another employee came out to assist. He began to give me instruction on how to place the trailer in the spot. Ms. Harris was on the opposite side to ensure I didn't hit the trailer beside the one I was moving. I was not comfortable with the instructions and got out of my vehicle to observe for myself. I was less than 4 INCHES from the next trailer. So the other employee that came to assist attempted to get in MY vehicle And move the trailer. I said NO WAY will you drive my vehicle And he then stated, WELL TAKE THE TRAILER WITH YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT LEAVING IT HERE!" I was not about to squeeze a 7ft wide trailer in a spot that was NOT a parking spot. Then my wife went inside to take the rental off her major credit card and Ms. Harris said, we've already charged you. I surely hope this is NOT the way you all conduct business and I will also be escalating this complaint!

The trailer was not swept out. The reservation called for pads to be included. They were not in the trailer. Had to return to the store to get the pads.

Have better management other than micci the general manager is horrible at guest satisfaction! She was rude and unprofessional and she had attitude while checking us in for a trailer and we have used uhaul 3 x in a month for business purposes. When I asked her for her manager she said call 800 go uhaul like really? MICCI was horrible

General manager wouldn't take the insurance off even though I had my own insurance and showed her my card. She also didn't add my 20% discount even though I've been an employee for 4 and a half years. I've rented equipment from that location before but that was my last time

I wouldn't recommend any U-Haul. I've used you guys for the past 3 moves and I'm done. I was hoping it was the location I used the first 2 times, but even at another location U-Haul is still insufficient. I ordered a 26' truck online and had my conformation at time of pickup and the person told me we don't have a 26' truck. What's the point of ordering it online if you aren't going to have it for me. So I had to settle for a 20' truck, which wasn't enough room so we had to load up friends pickup trucks, because there was no way I was driving the U-Haul back and forth across town. I'm very displeased and I feel like I gave U-Haul a fair shot by using you 3xs, but yesterday was my last.

It was really difficult to let out and reattach the slide attachment. The truck rode terribly, but we were still able to get the job done.
