We experienced some horrible things from Uhaul this past week - mostly due to the website and national 800 numbers. We reserved a trailer and were never asked if we had electrical wiring on our hitch - in fact, we weren't asked about that until AFTER the hitch was installed. They had to uninstall it and said they couldn't get the wiring done that day, or the next, or the next. We called the main phone number and were told they could do it the next day. Then got a call back from the local office saying the could NOT do it the next day. Then had several more rounds of frustrating phone calls. Luckily the folks at the Summer location came through for us the next morning, though it took some begging.

Check-out process seems a little slow. There seems like there should be another person cross-trained to step in and help out with customers as they are picking up vehicles at heavy times. For such a large location, if it were my business, I would have a manager or someone that at that location that could do that, and not just stand back and watch the one person that is trying to run 3 computers at a time.

l was told that I had to have the truck back by 5:30pm I was told that I put the time In on line. I said I am moving a 4 bed house l would never give a time. Then I was told that a customer was scheduled to pick the truck up after 5:30 and that was the time online

The store was very busy with not enough counter help. The agents were very friendly or I would have been more upset. The truck we rented looked like it had just come off the road and was not very clean. Bug covered winshield.

On the driver's side, it wounds as if there is a gust of air at the front of the door, like it's not sealed well. When I left the truck after hours, we could not get the dashboard lights turned off. We tried everything we knew for 15 minutes. Finally I just had to leave the key in the drop box. Otherwise, the truck was great -- no problems.

Don't normally write - just don't feel a need to when someone does their job but.. the young lady that help me @ this location (while very busy) was courteous helpful and knowledgeable. Not so much the manager. I would seriously consider doing an evaluation of this person and promote if & when she ready...which she seems to be now. Keith Miller

the first trailer i picked up was to small for what i needed it for. i took it back and got the size i needed. the people who made the change by unhooking the small and hooking up the bigger trailer were really nice in doing all the extra work. then when i was finished with the trailer and returned it y'all had to back my car up because i can't back a trailer and y'all were really nice again for doing the extra work. thanks for all the extra work. used the express online checkin but took me over an hour to actually pickup the trailer and it was not the trailer I reserved. I reserved a solid aluminum ramp-gate trailer and a drop-gate trailer(no ramp) was waiting for me. No aluminum drop-gate avail. so took the closest thing but could not use the ramp because it was a wire ramp and couldn't roll the machine over it like I could have with the aluminum ramp. Had to go outside 3 different times at checkin. (1 time to see incorrect trailer that was reserved, 1 time to get it hooked up to my truck, and 1 time to do a check. Each time I returned inside I was in the line again....waiting. There were 2 agents at the counter and many customers. They did a good job, the problem was the system. I expected it to be easy since I was impressed with the online system but was disgusted with the wait and return. Upon returning I started to park the trailer up front where the trailers were but there was a sign saying "check returned equipment here". So I pulled in right behind a returned trailer (or car hauler, I'm not sure) that had been disconnected. I waited and no one came so I went inside and waited at the counter. Not a long wait as there were few customers. She radioed that I needed to be checked in and was told to return to my truck. Upon returning I was asked why I didn't drop it off where the trailers were and I mentioned the sign. He asked me to back the trailer up the 100 feet and around the building where the trailers were. I told him that I didn't think I could back it that far w/o hitting something or jack-knifing the trailer. So finally I was told to leave it there and they would handle getting it back to the front. I came back inside with the checkin doc. and was checked in and could leave. Upon returning to the truck the trailer had been disconnected but dropped right where it was making it impossible for me to leave w/o moving the trailer myself because there was a trailer in front of me and mine was behind. I figured the guy was either lazy or it was payback for my inability to back the trailer the 100 feet. Frankly, there was little room to drive much less back a short trailer. I don't know but I will NEVER rent anything from you. I will buy a trailer or rent anywhere else before renting from you again.

You should quote people the full price, not just the additional days. I was not told about the additional coverage charge, even after multiple phone calls.If additional coverage is required then tell people before they pay. I had to find out after I paid that I owed 150 more than I was told.I will really try to avoid using uhaul again.

The gas mileage needs to read just as it is on the check in sheet. It is unfair to the customer that the gas hand doesn't read as accurate as their sheet and is frustrating to charge customers extreme amounts for gas. The gas reading is very unfair! Customer satisfaction was not granted on this visit.
