Just horrible. They try to screw me up with the gaz. The trcuk was super dirty, poor service, not nice costumer service. I will not recommand it to anyone.

I extended the use of my rental and communicated with associates and was lead to believe that was ok but was charged an eclxtremelybhigh late fee. Also non of the truck sizes I originally wanted which would have prevented my extended use we're available. Also employees were slow and more interested in their own phones and drama than processing my requests in a timely manner.

Online it was advertised that you can drop your truck at any location. It was not made clear to me at the location that this is not the case. I had to drive an hour and a half through rush hour to get back to my original location. The entire interior of the truck was sticky and smelled of smoke as the ash tray was filled with ashes. If I can avoid it I will never rent another truck from U Haul or any other company for that matter.

Good day, I recently rented a truck from the Downtown Miami location and I am a bit disappointed. I am a returning customer and I went back because I never had a problem... until now! When the keys were handed to me, the counter clerk said the gas tank was full. Upon entering the truck I released it was below 7/8. I asked James, "Are you guys trying to jerk me?" He jokingly laughed it off (no fault of his own) and initialed the document to reflect the gas amount. I returned it as it was given to me, but the counter clerk said I returned it under. He ended up charging me over $25 for gas. I was flabbergasted! I don't think I'll be returning to this location ever again, or U-Haul at all. Sincerely, Carlos Gardinet

If somebody can not answer the question why the insurance was $15 and Not $14 as offered, then this person is not allowed to work. The computer says so. Is this an answer?

I bought the damage insurance and unfortunately the truck was damaged. I brought it back to the location and none of the 4 employees knew how to handle it. They had to text their boss who was unreachable and based their judgement off a text, which I thought ridiculous. The employees were all rude and unhelpful. It was a generally terrible experience.

We have purchased 2 wardrobe boxes but the clerk forgot to give them to us. We called as soon as we discovered that those boxes were missing and a lady on the phone said she will let him Know and he will issue us a credit for that. No credit was issued and upon returning the track the lady said we have to come back with the original receipt to get the credit! We are in the middle of the move and this location is NOT next to our house. We do not have a car so it would cost us more to come back with the receipt than the cost if the 2 boxes! It's sad that we have to pay for your mistakes:(

My experience with this uhaul center's customer service representatives, truck rental and storage units was unacceptably terrible. Honestly, I don't know where to even start. My reserved storage unit, advertised as 5' wide, ended up being a mere 3.5' wide, causing me to have to reserve two units at three times the total cost of my original storage unit. None of the storage units in this building match the advertised dimensions. My truck was driven a total of six miles with no change in the fuel gauge, only to be charged $40 in fuel the next day. The customer service representatives, aside from being completely unhelpful, shut down the storage building's elevator promptly at 5pm knowing myself and several others were still in the building, causing three of us to get stuck in the elevator for 15 minutes until we could reach uhaul via phone. I have rented from many uhaul centers in the past, and I have never experienced anything close to this level of incompetence. I unfortunately have to leave my belongings here for two weeks. After moving my things, I will never step foot inside this facility again.

Person who rented me the vehicle was UNFRIENDLY; she took care of me because there was no other choice. Little eye contact. First time this has happened at this location. Because I paid in cash, and left a cash deposit, I had to leave a second ID on reserve and upon returning the vehicle it was not returned to me. I've been unable to contact the office to have them mail it to me. You know, phone banks are busy, blah, blah, blah.

After pulling into the location 5 minutes before 7pm, we waited for 10 minutes and then the service assistance didn't want to help us and said we would have to come back. That was completely unacceptable. They acted childish, unprofessional and not accomodating which was the opposite of what we experienced when we were there earlier in the morning.

Fui a rentar una unidad de 17' y la persona q me atendio me aseguro que con 14' estaba bien. No me cupo la mudanza y fui a cambiarlo por uno de 17'. Otra persona me atendio y me dijo q no tenian inventario de 17' para ese mes, o sea me enga~aron con la sugerencia y tuve que perder parte de mis muebles porque no los pude llevar...pesimo servicio.

I called the day before and the day I rented the car and asked for a car with full gas, as it is difficult to put 3/4 of gas to return the car. The guy on the phone was not polite and said he will not put gas in the car. I just rented becasue I could not find another car in the last minute. Very disappoited. Will not use U-haul services again.

The agent told us that the insurance was MANDATORY even though it does not say this on the online reservation system. He FORCED us to purchase it and I would like my $11 back!
