Well, the truck broke, so I can't give good marks on that score, but Don was great. He contacted me Sunday morning to let me know they had the truck and he took care of checking it in and everything, so I could just wash my hands of the entire experience.

I went in on Friday the day before I needed the auto transport and made all the arrangements, including giving a copy of my credit card. The man that helped me at that time was very helpful and knowledgeable. The next morning when I came to pick it up it was a different story. There was no one in the customer service area. After waiting about 15 minutes a lady finally came out of the restroom and she acted like I was an unwelcome problem for her, she was rude and demanding. I am in my 60's and have been in customer service and customer relations all my adult years so I tried to talk to her a little about how she was acting. This didn't go over well!!!! My son is in his 40's and is a manager at a large R. V. Center, supervising over 60 employees. When we went out to get hooked up the trailer he walked around to the back of my truck to where she was and tried to talk to her about what had happened and that was not well received either. When I brought the trailer, again there was no one in the customer service area. I stood around a few minutes and no one came in, so I started to leave and a man spoke up from one of the office and said he would be right with me. I told him I was just dropping off your trailer. So he made a smart comment about my terminology. When he came out of the office he begin the question me about the problem with the lady that I picker the trailer up from. As I started to answer his question he begin to lecture me like I was a little child that had no understanding. I own and manage two business, I know it's hard to find good help but these two people I had the unpleasant experience of having to deal with needed a lot more of training and maybe a muzzle before they're turned loose to deal with the public. They can take some training from the man who assisted me on Friday when I came in to make arrangements for it. I have rented moving trucks from this location before and never had a problem. But this unpleasant experience was enough. I'm going to need a moving truck again in the next two or three weeks and even though my office is less than one mile from this location, I think it's better that I look else where to meet my future needs for a moving truck or trailer.

This is the third time in which I dropped equipment off from moving and the service gets worse and worse each time. When I dropped the tow dolly off the counter lady did nothing but moan and complain about having to be at work. Then two days later when I dropped the truck off the guy at the counter had four people waiting and when I asked if there was someone else here to help he snapped at me and said the other two individuals were outside putting together a box. I will not rent equipment from U-haul in the future as it seems to get worse and worse each time and for the price that I have paid over the course of the past couple of months and in the past couple of years it is not worth going through those dealers associated with U-haul.

The truck I rented out was had more miles on It then was documented on the papers Uhaul gave me. Now I have an expensive bill & miles chargered to my account that I didnt use!

The appliance dolly screached so loudly it hurt our ears. We carried it back to the truck instead of rolling it and never used it. Then we had to get billed twice, because my wife didn't get insurance on everything. We have to wait 10 days for our money instead of just billing us the difference. Then we went to the address on one of the contracts to drop it off and the gate was locked, no uhaul signs anywhere, so we had to call to get another drop off location. It wasn't opened either at 11. On Saturday morning. I had to pack everything in thecab of the truck, because I'm afraid of being billed for somebody robbing the dump. Worst experience with uhaul yet.

5 stars for Reservations for the easy and friendly representative. 5 stars for picking up the truck Saturday morning. 5 stars for the truck we used. 5 stars for the guy that checked the truck in. Very courteous, friendly and helpful. 3 stars for returning the truck. Both the check-out guys were on the phone while we waited to return the truck.

I do not like the half tank of gas idea. It should be full tank. I figure U-haul owes me for at least 10 gallons of gasoline. There is no way to estimate the miles per gallon or the amount in the tank accurately. When do i get the check from you?

Hire an assistant manager not named wesley who understands the value of customer service service and repair vehicles so they can be trusted on the road. repair fuel guage so your customer doesnt get pilfered on gas replacement get the dolly and furntiure pads out of the truck when no requested so they are not in the way of using the truck

My reservation was wrong from the beginning. I did it online at Uhaul.com and it never gave me the option or even notified me of a one-way move, instead of a city move when making my reservation. I even put in the move to location as Texas. This caused a problem once I went to pick up the truck, and caused the customer service agent to have to redo my account several times. Then my customer service agent, instead of finding a truck first for a one way, went through the whole process of paying and putting in all the information then realized he did not have a truck for me to use. He did find me a 20', instead of a 26', and a 5'x8' trailer to use. However, I had to go to a different store to get the truck then back to the original store for the trailer. When I came back for the trailer, we were asked to wait while he helped another customer first and then proceed to raise his voice at my father when we objected to having to wait. It took 2 hours to finally get a truck and be on my way. I have used Uhaul, and uhaul.com in the past and never had this much trouble.
