Check the miles I was over charged for miles I didn't use over 40 miles and my destination was not far also the trucks drive terrible and service is very poor

The experience ended on a high note due to the excellent management. The only hang-up was the return. The keys were lost, despite me returning them, the employee accused that I hadn't and there was a camera. I gave him a time stamp of when I was there from my own phone and a description of myself. Only to find out later that there was no way to ID me from the camera with the excuse that it was blocked or low resolution. The manager kindly called me the next day, apologized, and corrected the matter. I highly recommend improving the camera to aid the customers and the business security and trust.

I had a truck reserved for a certain time and was told that it wouldn't be ready for another hour, but that even that wasn't certain because the person using it could keep it longer. It was stressful because I was moving on a tight schedule. If U-Haul is going to allow people to extend the time of the use of any of the vehicles then there should be back up ones so that this does not interfere with anyone's schedule like it did with mine. This was incredibly stressful.

Please inform the customer if your over an hour late picking up the truck you reserved, it will be rented out to someone else.

The people that worked on Friday when I picked up we're dealing with several people who could very politely be described as "difficult." The staffers were polite and courteous in the face of some nasty folks. When it was my turn to work with them they were polite, efficient, and just plain wonderful. I was very impressed with them. On Saturday when I was returning the trailer it was cold, miserable, and raining. The two fellows that helped me were again, polite, courteous... Delightful. I always hope for professionalism... I am surprised when the level rises above basic courtesy. On both measures and on both days this location far, far exceeded my expectations. Well done state st Uhaul team.

The guy at the location which I guess was the Manger seen me walk into the store, never asked me if I needed service, no one was at the register, the guy walked right passed me talking to some girl, after standing and waiting for 30minutes for some assistance to get my uhaul which I reserved online, the guy finally comes back into the uhaul place with an attitude because he was outside hugging and kissing this girl instead of handling me as a customer. I told him I will be making a report about this and he say well I don't have to rent the truck out because he knew I was telling the truth about him not doing his job properly and leaving the register clear and items available for someone to steal or rob the place while he outside.

The side mirror was broken, but they replaced it immediately. The tire pressure warning was on, but they checked the air in all of the tires and confirmed that they were good to go, and we didn't have any issues with them.

This will probably be the last time I ever use uhaul... I showed up on time to pick up the car hauler. They told me that the wiring on my jeep was bad so I went and got a different vehicle and tested the wiring harness before returning to pick up the trailer, again they told me that my wiring was bad on the truck... after about 15 minutes of arguing with the guy he allowed me to hook up to another one of his trailers to test my wiring on my truck and all the lights worked... the trailer that I had reserved was the problem not my truck... already it was an hour past my pick up time and still no trailer and the guy talked down to me the whole time like I didn't know anything about electrical on my truck when I have been an auto mechanic for the past 10 years... then he told me he would find me another trailer at a different location, after another half hour of waiting he said that I could pick a trailer up from a different location that was about 20 miles out of the way and that I would be able to drop it off at his location when I was done. Never told me that it was going to cost me more money... I drove to the other location just to find out that the trailer was going to cost me an extra $50 unless I drove it back to them... so again I had to drive over 20 miles out of my way to drop it back off when I was done. I wasted half a tank of gas and about 3 hours of my time because of your poorly maintained trailers. I have rented trailers from you 3 times In the past year and I am going to be sure to tell everyone I know not to rent from you anymore. I guess you guys like loosing good customers.

Before I returned the truck, I had put gas back into the tank. The gauge was just barely below the 7/8 line because I only drove it under 8 miles. When I brought it to the gas station, still, it was just under 7/8. After adding gas and leaving the gas station (which was a block away) and into the Uhaul lot, the gauge was AT the 7/8th. When I pulled up into the returned equipment lane,I encountered two problems. Problem 1: I waited for an attendant to come assist me. No one came out. I decided to go inside and find help because I was on a time restriction. There was an attendant sitting at the check in desk watching the football game. He said he would be out in a minute. As I found that to be extremely unprofessional that a customer comes in and he took president to the game versus taking care of me. He can't even pretend like he didn't see me because his seat is right next to the gigantic glass windows that I pulled right up next to. Second issue: As I had mentioned before, I put gas in the tank and the gauge was at the appropriate place. The return equipment lane ends on a downward slope. When the guy finally got into the truck for the final inspection, the gauge had dropped significantly lower than where it had been. It was an entire notch lower. This makes no sense to me considering I didn't even use that much gas over the duration of my rental and nor did it reflect that after I put gas in it. I told the attendant that it's because the van is parked on the hill. He backed it up (mind you- it's STILL on a hill) and told me that they don't rig the vans. It was not a matter of rigging the van. I am an honest person and an honest customer. And since I was on a time restriction, I did not have time to argue with him about the gas gauge. I am extremely frustrated with the quality of service from this attendant. And for the fact that I got charged for gas ONTOP of the gas that I paid for to be put it. I promise you that if you guys check the gauges OFF of that hill, you'll get a different reading.
