Do NOT use uhaul. I had the worst experience ever and the 5 people I spoke to didn't try to rectify the situation. Before I detail my situation I'll start off with how they pushed back my reservation when I NEEDED it at a specific time, and I later found out the truck was there!! So they called me the day before to switch my 10 am pick up time to 6 pm because no trucks were available. I told them this was very inconvenient because I was paying people to help me move and they were arriving at 10:30 am. The lady at uhaul then told me she would get a truck in for 11 am. I was satisfied with that until the morning of my move arrived. I got another call from uhaul and they said I will have a truck for 6 pm because someone else has the truck before me. I was NOT happy, I asked to speak to his supervisor and instead he forwards me to corporate! I talk with corporate and she says the truck should be there by 1:30 pm. I call at 2 pm because I hadn't heard from uhaul and she says that the truck had been there the WHOLE DAY! She said that the truck had a reservation for 7 am the next day and since my reservation was for 6pm - noon the next day it would have overlapped and thats why they couldn't give it to me. I explained that I only needed the truck for 2-3 hours because I was moving 2 miles away and that if someone had asked me that and told me the truck was there I would have explained. Uhaul didn't care. They only care about overbooking their paying customers. I have never had such bad customer service and bad communication from a company in my life. This situation completely messed up my move and it could have been avoided!

Truck was not available in Natick and was sent to Marbough where the truck wasn't available there either. Had to drive to a third location to pick up the truck which only had a half a tank of gas.

The location was very busy, only one atendent,very incompetent. I have made my reservation, 3 wks prior, they didn't have my truck, I asked him, if he could look in the other store, he told me that he dind't have time for that. So I call the 1800#, they were able to get a cargo van

Only one staff person for busy Sunday! Someone called in sick, and he was really busy. Deserves Kudos for being efficient and doing best he could. Had to wait 20 minutes for pickup.

When I arrived at Natick UHaul I was informed that the 10' truck I had reserved (and received email/phone confirmation of) was not available. Despite my reservation, a truck would only be available at 5pm (5-hours after my schedule reservation). Because of this, I incurred considerable ($200) additional costs related to having to cancel and re-schedule my elevator reservation at the location I was moving from. While I was ultimately given a discounted rate on mileage, the inconvenience, delays and frustration associated with not having my reservation ready means I will likely NOT use UHAUL for any future moves. Nor would I ever recommend it to anyone I know. Very disappointed with the experience as a whole.

Truck was turned in -- the line was so long, the desk person said that I would be emailed a receipt. Never received -- two weeks later got an email "Your truck was not returned." I immediately replied, no responses about the status for over a week, then finally "Everything is good." I will NEVER use UHaul again. Worst company I have ever dealt with.

The clerk at the Natick location was great. I was able to walk the yard and choose the truck size I needed. I was able to leave my vehicle there while I used the truck. Dropping the truck off after hours was a breeze. I say 5 stars!

upon arriving, was told my reservation time could not be honored! Had to move apartment same day; finally rented me a larger truck for same price. What you can improve: live up to reservation commitments!

The locations as convenient but it was very disorganized and the van I rented was filthy. I had made an appt online and no one called me to confirm so I had to call and secure the van and time the day before my move. Better organization and care of equipment is needed

The staff at this location went above and beyond to make this smooth as possible. I cannot thank them enough. I am a professional mover and I rent from uhaul quite frequently and generally the staff is always helpful, but these folks definetly made my life easier!!!!

The truck was dirty when we got it: potting soil, packing peanuts, and some kind of grease were everywhere on the floor. We had to lay down a number of packing blankets to make it both clean and safe.

Leigh was amazing. He was clearly overwhelmed, but to a high volume of people, multiple tasks to accomplish with limited staff and faulty equipment. He was able to manage and troubleshoot the situation as best he could. He lost a few customers, due to no fault of his own. Leigh deserves a notable apology from the management for there lack of staffing and aged computer equipment. Best, Rebecca Kimball

Checkin took FOREVER. I was second in line when I got there and it took 30+ minutes to start processing the reservations I made online. There were 7 or 8 people in line behind me by the time I was done. One would think there would be more staff on hand on a Saturday morning...

I find it unacceptable that I had to wait in line for 55 minutes to pick up a rental van that I had reserved weeks ahead. I rent vans often from that location and there just has to be a better way to pick up vehicles, especially for repeat clients. Thank you.

This location always seems understaffed, the people there are nice and work hard but there aren't enough of them. Biggest complaint is with website... I always do online check-in and when I get to the store I have to give all the information again. There is no point in using the web. Vehicle itself was clean and in great condition.
