CSR was very prompt in checking in my equipment. He reviewed the charges (line-by-line) on a handheld device and had me in-and-out quickly. Location is a bit inconvenient because it's on a one-way highway, which means added milage ($) due to continuing East on Route 9 before turning around to the Westbound side. Also, there is no gas station prior to U-Haul to refill the tank before returning the equipment.

The "Return" signs indicate to wait with your vehicle upon return and that an associate would be there shortly to check-in the equipment. I waited 20 minutes and then went inside to learn that NOONE was planning on coming out to greet me. Either the signs should be changed or employees should be better trained in customer service.

It would be helpful to have a sign next to where you drop off vehicles indicating where the key drop box was. We walked to the front door, saw nothing, then walked all the way around the building until we found it.

I returned the truck with exactly the same amount of gas using the guide Uhaul provided, yet the person receiving the truck insisted I returned it with less gas than I picked up the truck. A total lie. After spending $180 you nail me for 8 more dollars? Really poor customer service. I will never use Uhaul again.

Notification if truck is ready or not on the specific time. Upon my visit the 26' l originally ordered had items still in the truck making it unavailable. I was then given a 20' that didn't really complete the job I was forced to leave some items behind.

Adam took the return and said I didn't need a receipt, he would check it in and email the receipt. When I did not get it after a few days I called the location. The phone was answered by a call center (answer your own phones!!!). They emailed the Natick location to have the receipt sent. Still not done. I called back, again the call center answered! Same story, but now a promise for a more detailed email (can't they just call??!!) Again now response. Now it is 4 days after I returned the trailer. AGAIN called and got the call center AGAIN!! I was furious. I asked for a supervisor and spent, I guess, about 30 minutes while she texted back and forth and finally got Adam, who I understand is the manager!!, to check in the equipment and call me. He told me I didn't have to worry. Really? How could I know that I wouldn't be charged for equipment not returned. He also lied about not getting emails from the call center. Or perhaps they were lost with the IRS emails from Lois Lerner! I should bill Uhaul for time spent on this botched return. This experience led me to cancel a trailer rental for the following week from Uhaul and to rent a Penske truck which I pick up later this AM. Train your employees better. Phooey!!

Overall the the truck was clean. But the windshield was really dirty and driving into the sun, we could barely see. The first thing we did was buy gas and clean the windshield so that we could see.

I had some circumstances during my move which required the staff to pick up the truck I rented and I really appreciate them for doing that however, I was told that I had an extra 20 miles given to me at the time of rental from the manager at the Nashua, NH location but they charged me to overage anyway upon return of the truck, also I was charged for fuel at a very high rate from the drop off location even though I was told I would not be due to the circumstances of the return. I now owe Uhaul about $60 and had I known this would happen I would have made alternate arrangements. I feel there was a huge miscommunication on their part to me and this has left me in a bad financial bind.
