The restroom was very clean which I didn't expect and truly appreciate. Myles was incredibly helpful. It was the first time we have rented from U-Haul and the process was very smooth. The equipment worked well, too.

This location is certainly one of the better run in the New Orleans area. They have plenty of trucks, an easy to get to location and they seem to be on top of maintenance and general upkeep. The employees were helpful and courteous.

There is absolutely no communication. Between the call center, between the employees working on location, or between the call center and the drop off point. This is my second rental both times were the same. I can't accurately predict the price

If mistakes are made try to help the customer not seem indifferent. Told I would have to wait for a truck because of a mistake but ended with a truck that was on the lot when I arrived at 7:30 AM and had to wait till 5:30 pm for the truck.

I have never experienced customer service like I did at the U-Haul located on St. Claude. It was so bad, that I recorded the experience and am considering posting how awful it was in my blog and other means of social networking. Before I do so, I will definitely send it to the general manager so that he can see first hand what customer's that visit this establishment go through.

Upon my arrival I was not greeted at the entrance. I stood at the counter with a clerk there and was not acknowledge until after approx. 5 mins of waiting as the clerk converse about an accident and a doctor's visit. I have rented a U-Haul before so I know the process and how it should be delegated however this experience was very poor. I found myself asking for a form to check for any damages on the car and after asking for them the guy said "Oh yea, you can check if you want to". This is not the way a customer should be greeted or treated. I had never rented a truck through closing time so I had no idea of how the process worked neither was it explained at all. Upon returning the U-haul I read a sign that said for me to pull up and wait for assistance no one came to assist me so after 10 mins of waiting I had to call the number on the form and talk to someone about what I should do. This experience makes me effortless refuse to use any facility of U-Haul again.

Mr Washington was professional and friendly. I have already recommended the truck rental service.
I have rented from U-Haul before and always been satisfied, but this most recent experience was above and beyond the high benchmark. Thanks for the opportunity to compliment Mr Washington.

I am livid with anger...
I followed the online procedure to rent a truck..I put in my card number..it was for a reservation only..
stated in writing that no charge would be made to the card....
I returned the truck and PAID IN CASH....
Whist using the truck, I made several furniture purchases using the card.....
And took it right up to the last dollar available...
Checking my account this morning, I find I am overdrawn ..
With TWO NSF..charges of 35.00 each..
Why..
Because Haul has billed two charges....
One for 63.00 something...
And one for ONE DOLLAR...
Do not tell me the dollar will drop off..because the THIRTY FIVE DOLLAR NSF FEE WILL NOT...
And what is the SIXTY TREE SOMETHING CHARGE FOR..INCURRING ANOTHER THIRTY FIVE DOLLAR NSF...
I HAVE ALREADY SPOKEN WITH CAPITAL ONE Bank....
EVEN IF YOU REVERSE THE CHARGES, THE NSF'S WILL REMAIN...
What is your solution to this matter....

1. More than 1 employee working.
2. Employees who do not mock customers because they do not speak english well.
3. Employees who have pride in themselves and their company.
The young man who was representing your company at the St. Claude location thought that it was funny to mock a customer who was struggling to find the right words in english. He was more focused on getting a rise out of other immature people in the room than providing quality customer service.
It took 40 minutes to make it through the line and another 10 to get our truck. The St. Claude location is an embarrassment to the Uhaul company. We will use Penske or Enterprise next time we need to rent a truck.
