Informed employee that truck stop on us 3 times and started back up. Your equipment was in very bad shape. A move that should take 3 hours took 8 hours due to the conditions of your equipment. I was told nothing could be done because I didn't call Roadside assistance. Unacceptable!

Common courtesy. Have enough train staff on duty to take care of customers in store. Management was out of order and simply ghetto. rent a truck. It was a mess and very poor service. to improve services you need better management staff need to be trained and polite.

The manager and his staff were very friendly, courteous, helpful and accommodating. I was greeted as soon as I entered the store. The staff member carefully explained every detail to me.

There were two men working the trucks and counter on this day. The older one was very courteous and polite. But as for the younger one, please, please do not have baggy pants that hang half way off your butt!!! Not only is this disrespectful to the company you represent, but me or my wife could care less about what you are advertisng!!! Because of this one employee, I would not recommend this site to customer!!!!

On pick up and return the location seemed to be extremely short-handed. In spite of this, the counter clerk was courteous and efficient and kept everyone updated on the status of their request. I was very impressed with her level of customer service.

I was first in line and last served, the teller served all of the African Americans in the store after a 15 minute wait at the cash register. The store should operate on first come first served not offer privileged service based on race.

There were so many trucks being dropped off, that the entrance for returns was BLOCKED completely from the street - so I had to drive around the wrong way to get into the parking lot. This was after-hours as well. There was not enough room established for returns.

The kid who processed my order in the morning was very nice and helpful. The staff in the afternoon could have been a little friendlier. Also I tried to point out that the fuel gauge was 3/4 (as it was on the line, and there is no 7/8 line), but this was met with dismissal. Still, overall good experience and I'd use them again.

When I picked up the truck there was only 1/8 of a tank of gas in the truck but the contract required me to bring the truck back with 1/4 of a tank.

I reserved a 6X12 at the Gentilly location and was contacted 3 days prior to my pick-up that this particular size trailer was no longer available and that if I wanted this particular size I would have to drive to Slidell to get it(approx. 24mi. roundtrip). So I had to settle for the next size down in a 5X8. The reason I was given was that a 6X12 reserved for me was delayed over in Houston due to the flooding.

The young lady that check me out was totally unprofessional during my transaction. Using and answering her personal cell phone while assisting myself and other. Poor communication regarding gas and mileage. Would rather go further out and pay for additional mileage then to visit this location.

10-Jun-2015; When I check in to get the rental. The CSR answered two personal calls on her cell phone, and held a conversation while there were at least four persons including myself in line waiting to be assisted. One bad apple doesn't make the whole bunch bad. 11-Jun-2015; This morning when I returned the truck, everyone was very respectful and professional. While I waited for my ride to pick me up the gentleman on duty informed me I could wait inside where it was much cooler than standing outside. He did not have to do that, but it was a very nice gesture and it showed he was paying attention to what was going on and his customers at his location. But of the ladies on duty were very polite and professional, it was very refreshing!

All of the employees and manager(s) Jerome was the only one that I was aware of are extremely unprofessional. It's really said. I don't even blame because one of you trained them to curse and talk about personal issues on the sales floor as ad nasuem. There was 5 people behind waiting while all the bickering is going on with one person inept person at the front desk and the manager trying to rush out off e door. I was charge twice, 2 full days, for a 7 hour rental. The young lady that checked me is said I rented 3 packs of furnitire pads. I didn't. I rented 2. I also purchased 3 boxes with my online reservation and I never received them and I was charged for them. This is really truly sad and pathetic. This doesn't have to be this way. When oh when are we going to come up with our basic standards of service and accountability???

The customer service at this location was poor at best. It appears that everyone has forgotten what servicing a customer means. I have been in the industry over 20 years and on my worst day would never conduct myself the way the reps at this location did. I am sure the Manager was doing his best but that does not excuse the overall presentation of this location. I have used U-Haul before and felt that there was a disconnect throughout this entire process. I got the impression that the day would have been better for everyone if they did not have to come to work that day and serve the customers.

U-Haul was dirty inside and we had a problem in the wire connection. It was replaced and it did not work either.
