Well, my negative feedback is mostly directed at these guys. I had specifically placed and order via telephone for reservation of a 26' truck for 2 days.
When I arrived to pick up the truck at the other location, I was dumbfounded to see this place in Newport had done their best to cut me short because they overbooked.
I am grateful that they charged me only one day, but I really had to work very hard to get this truck to them in one day rather than 2. Since I'm on a tight budget, I had to move every single item by myself. I purchased a new house and my family is priority and everything else was already very expensive.
I would recommend it be instructed to this location that forcing the hand of a customer in such a devious way is unacceptable. They made a mistake when they booked the truck ahead of its scheduled arrival on Saturday. They should have owned up to their mistake rather than let the weight fall all my shoulders.
I was able to make it to the location on time with just 3 minutes to spare before 5pm when they said I needed to return the vehicle. I hope this is the only exception; or at least an infrequent exception rather than the standard.
