Their was only one persona available working the check in desk. He was very proficient and helpful and work diligently servicing customers but clearly being a holiday weekend, more staff was needed to handle the volume of business.

My original reservation was at Steve's Auto on Swede Rd. in Blue Bell, PA. Whe I got there at 9 A.M. no one was there even though their hours were from 8 A.M. until 12 P.M. I then went to the Norristown location as I needed a truck. The person who rang me out put in the wrong mileage which I neglected to notice before signing the agreement. I had taken pictures of the entire vehicle including the odometer before leaving the lot, which is how I know it was recorded wrong. So I got had for $6.80 because I paid for 17 miles I did not drive. When I mentioned that my reservation had not been kept at Steve's Auto and asked about the $50 refund I was told to ask about it when I turn in the truck. when I turned it in in Levittown, pa the person I dealt with there gave me the corporate number to get the refund. I could have been given that number at the Norristown location. Not a very good experience at all

There was inadequate employee that was arrogant; impersonal; This employee needs to learn adequate (greater) customer service and more interpersonal skills to represent this corporate, "U-Haul". He, this employee, is a definite detraction from this location of U-Haul.

Firstly, we went to the Havertown Uhaul and they had no trucks available. No big deal, I do what the employee suggests and dial 1-800-GoUhaul. #BigMistake. Not only did the representative repeatedly ask the same questions, but she got all my information only to tell me at the end that the truck was no longer available and that someone would call me within an hour. Never got a call, but did get a text later about a reservation for a truck at a site probably 45 minutes from me. Good thing I had the foresight to call the Norristown location myself instead of going through the GoUhaul rep. Sure enough, a truck was available. Check-out wasn't too long. Gave us the wrong set of keys and then couldn't find them for a while. That's fine, I'm over it. Truck itself I have no complaints about. Knowing that we were going to have to drop off after hours, I called ahead being the nice guy I am and was given instruction to include the contract with the keys. When we dropped off (near midnight), we couldn't park the truck under the tent since there were about 5-6 trucks already lined up. Instead, we parked in one of the parking spots and dropped the key inside the folded contract in the slot. Next day, I get a voice message saying they couldn't find the key and to call back. Called back multiple times, only to get the 800 number reps who could only notate and tell me to call back during business hours. Day after that, I get the email saying I've been checked out and charged for 2 days. I have to call the location and explain. Easily explained and was granted a credit but I don't see why my card had to be charged first and then credited when I did no wrong. It sure does seem like there's much room for the operations-side to grow. I think I should be eligible for a discount or gift card for all the trouble in using your service this weekend.

Even with a reservation, we had to wait one hour for the vehicle as the staff who inspected vehicles didn't arrive until the public opening time. I had to wait in line twice, staff were disorganized, but I was offered a break on the gas in consideration of the poor service.

Need help at desk for check in and make sure you give right key and or truck to customer. You should not advertise a daily rate and the only give them a certain number of hours for example 6 hours and you need to have truck back by then or get charged extra.

I believe training in customer service skills would be helpful. A truck inspection in the mornings would help because I had a truck given to me that leaked up front almost profusely. And tryin to sell the insurance feels like a sales pitch. It's simply not good

I ordered my truck and a furnature dolly for 10am pick up. It wasn't ready until 1045, drove 25 miles to destination. Opened the back to realize there was no dolly. Drove back 25 miles to get it, then drove back again. Uhaul denied my request to reimburse me for the milage I spent on their own error! I had to pay 50$ out of pocket when I should have gotten money back! I'm furious will never go to Uhaul ever again. Also the truck I requested it to have a lodi ng ramp. Low and behold it did not.

We scheduled a pick up the night before and they had what we wanted when we got there. We only needed the UHaul for picking up flooring we couldn't fit in our car so we returned the car in less than 2 hours under 20 mileage. The boy who rang us up had little personality but it was 8 in the morning.
