Scheduled trailer pickup at 1400 for a 2-day rental. Attempted to complete paperwork at 1355. The hope was that I might be able to complete the rental contract, retrieve and inspect the trailer, and depart by 1430. U-haul rep wanted to charge a whole extra day for the 5-minute period (1355-1400) on day of rental??? Had not driven to, inspected, nor connected the trailer yet. Funny it wasn't. It took 10-minutes to explain, and for the the clerk to understand, it was just a two-day rental and I didn't want to pay for 3-days. She thought she fixed the problem by moving the reservation time from 1400 to 1300. I get docked an hour and a half for a rental? Why are Americans so poor at math? Other than the glitch of renting and being charged fairly, everything else was fine.

The truck we rented was 2 1/2 quarts low on oil when we picked it up. The auto transport had a flat tire when we went to pick it up. The AC went out on the truck halfway through our trip. No replacement parts available since it was a Saturday. They said they would try to get parts on Monday. During the 5 hours we waited for service on the truck another tire on the transport went flat. U Haul gave us a truck that was not in good shape and did not offer any help as far as us being stuck for 2 days. We crossed the desert with no AC because we did not have the money for 2 extra nights hotel. It was deadly and dangerous. Roadside assistance was of no assistance. If the 26ft. trucks are that old and break down they should not be in service. We were told all the equipment is checked out in advance, obviously not the case. Waiting to speak to a U Haul representative about our ordeal. Probably the worst day of my life.

The entire staff is and was very professional and courteous and made me feel welcome each time I came back in for more boxes and other moving items I needed. They always offered help and answered any questions I had. I've used this location for years because of the location & variety of services offered and never had any issues to report or deal with and that's impressive! Even though I moved away out of town now, I'd still recommend this location to friends & family. Thanks guys! Keep up the great work!

Please if we ever have to rent another moving truck can we get a newer one uhaul gave us the oldest truck on the lot. The truck's cab felt like it was going to come off the frame everything was moving and shaking. When we came back with the truck three guys outside asked us how it worked out for us also one man inside asked my husband too. All my husband could say it worked him good keeping it on the street straight. They told him it was the oldest one on the lot (for real). Well there you are our experience at this Uhaul but they were very nice though.

Why was I told that the charge on my debt card would be pending charge, when it was a flat charge? I was charged way more then I was supposed to. :( Normally not a big deal but I am on a tight budget and that was a misleading statement. It is not a pending charge.

make sure the reservation is at the correct facility. The web site said my reservation was at the Browning Drive location but when I arrived there to pick-up my trailer, I was told they didn't rent trailers there. My reservation was actually at Blvd 26. I was told that happens all the time.

Uhaul did not verbally mention to the customer where the keys go when they turn in the vehicle. Customer placed keys in vehicle and locked door since customer had no way of contacting them since it was late at night. A fee was charged to customer. Uhaul should have verbally notified customer of procedure when first checking out vehicle. It may be in the contract to allow this fee, however, it's poor communication on Uhaul's part and lack of care or concern for the customer. Human error should be taken into account. Sadly I will have to take my business elsewhere next time I need a moving vehicle. Very much to my displeasure, I'm quite disappointed in Uhaul.

Remind customer if they've purchased pads to be sure to get them prior to leaving the U-Haul location. I actually didn't need them and was credited on my card. It was an oversight on my part to make sure they were in the van; wasn't a problem at all. Thank you!

Make sure your vehicle can start at all times, It was running when we left. The minute we go home to start the process of moving, the battery wouldn't start it was dead, causing us a time delay. We needed to leave the truck running all the time, as soon as we shut it off, it went dead again. Took it back, got a partial credit. Not sure if it was inspected again before it went out. Very disappointed. Next time, we will make sure it starts by shutting it off while we are there.

The receiving team was initially very rude. I explain that the van had touched the bottom of the truck and the associate was rude and inconsiderate toward myself. I tried to explain my position but he would not have it. It another associate intervened and explained how we could unload the vehicle without damaging. He was very helpful and apologetic for his colleague behavior. This team needs to understand that customer are not expert in loading and unloading vehicles. They are average Joe's that U-Haul depends on.

This truck was a piece of junk. You had to stand on the gas pedal to get it to 40 mp. It jerked and shuttered when changing gears and when there wasn't somebody in the passenger side of the bench seat, it banged so loudly against the cab wall that it sounded like the whole truck was falling apart. Will rent from Budget next time.
