Ac was broken in the truck. It was 102* all this week, including yesterday. I had originally reserved this truck to be picked up from the Chatsworth location. When I went to get the truck, they said that my reservation wasn't on file and I had to pick it up from Northridge which then costs me $18 more in mileage because I had to drive the extra distance to and from my storage to get and return the truck because they messed my reservation up at the chatsworth location! Chatsworth has dropped the ball in several ways in my last 3 rentals within the past 2months!!!! The first time they messed up by telling me that I could leave a cash deposit on a pickup, only to find that you can only leave a cash deposit on a box truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this really messed me up bad! I then had to drive across town to place my cash on my credit card, making me late for picking up the items that I rented the pickup in the first place. I then =found out that I was not only did I pay for the rental in cash, I also found out just yesterday from the customer service lady that my credit card was billed the same $50 for the pick up rental! So ive been double billed! and I want that money back now!!! This is the worse customer service company I have ever experienced!!! Now I find that even though my last two rentals in the past 2 days should have been paid for with my vip certificate.

If uhaul wasn't the only game I would never have chosen you. Most disorganized customer service system I have ever seen. I would rather buy a trailer instead of ever renting from uhaul again. Trailer was picked by friend and uhaul made additional credit card charges on his word. Never again

Make sure you tell the customer the right details about the drop off location. They told me I could drop off after location was closed without getting charged another day and was charged for another day.

Truck cab was not entirely clean. Also driver side door had quite an air leak and created a lot of noise on the freeway. Very stupid of U-Haul to send over the invoice in .gif format. I wasted a lot of time to re-format a simple text bill, just to print it onto a single page. If I didn't already have the graphics program "Fireworks", how would I even have opened it?!

first off all, you need to teach your employees to stop lying to their customers when they call to confirm their reservation of a truck the same morning they are picking up, and told that your truck is there waiting for you. Yet when you arrive at the location, the same person that you spoke on the phone tells you that the previous customer has not returned the truck yet. That Friday June 27th I had to wait until they could find the same size truck at another location, and was informed if I wanted it I had to go and pick it up myself. Very selfish on their part. I had a previous incident with this Chatsworth location in the past but I thought I would give them another try. Did I learn the hard way!. I do not recommend this location to any one.

The employees who checked us in and out provided excellent service, particularly the guy who checked us in. He made sure we got all the info we needed and I felt like we were in good hands. The main bad thing was that the truck we got seemed to have problems starting and would only finally start on about the third try of turning the key in the ignition. Also, it was tough to figure out how much gas to put in the tank at the end of the day because the gas indicator would fluctuate and didn't seem accurate - worrisome when you want to make sure to bring it back with the right amount of gas to avoid a large fee. In the end, we ended up putting in about two extra gallons.
