1-the rate advertised for local move was not charged! i EXPECTED THE $19/DAY RATE AND WAS NOT INFORMED OF HIGHER RATE!
2- order came thru withe pickup IN ONE LOCATION AND RETURN TO ANOTHER. THIS WAS NOT TOLD TO ME AND WAS UNACCEPTABLE!

We had to wait almost 20 minutes to be acknowledged that we were even in the store waiting for our pick-up. The people working appeared overwhelmed, and instead of explaining they were backed up, they kind of just ignored us and made us feel like we bothering them!

online, I had ordered blankets, and hand truck and boxes. When i arrived, they were clueless about what was in the order. Also, the prices for these things seemed to be higher than I had arranged for on-line.

After my experience with renting a truck from U-Haul this past Sunday...I would never rent from you again. For starters the place where I over the phone to U-Haul made plans to pick the truck up wasn't even open, which I said that to the person on the phone, who assured me it was open on Sunday and I could pick a truck up at that loc. When I called cust serv I was told an email was sent to me changing the loc, of course I never recvd that email, a call would of been nice since you did have my cell number. When I got to another loc, of course they didn't have the size truck I ordered. All this time, a waste of my time and having my helpers wait for over an hour, very frustrating. Not having the correct truck also added to additional trips. All the calls I made to U-Haul customer service that day, not one person apologized or even tried to help, I had to do everything myself. I wouldn't of had a problem going to a different loc had I know in advance that's what I needed to do. Terrible service by U-Haul...I would never use them again nor recommend them, as a matter of fact if I know anyone who needs to rent anything from uhaul I wll make sure they know how terrible they are to deal with!

We were told a trailer was available in natick. Upon arriving in natick, we were sent to norwood to get the trailer. The extra time and ride was frustrating and created difficulty. It would be great if the stock information was up to date and accurate. A break on the price would have helped ease our frustration.
The trailer itself had not been cleaned since the last rental.
The trailer otherwise was in great shape, easy to use and very affordable.

Where do I begin?
In summary, very long lines, not enough staff members to serve the customers, requesting trucks via online is a waste of time. Poor communcation overall. Would be happy to discuss my recent visit in more detail via phone.

There was only one person working on Sunday. My original pickup time was 9am but I did not get into the truck until 10:30 because of the wait.

You need more then one staff member working on Sundays!! The guy was very nice but extremly overwhelmed by the amount of people picking up trucks. I arrived at about 9:30 am and there were three people in front of me, it took almost 45 minutes for me to be taken care of!! Not the employees fault but a management fault for not providing a location enough staff to operate.

I cannot say enough about the staff that were working on the day of our trailer pickup. Ivan went above and beyond to assist us when our trailer electrical was not working and should be commended for providing customer service which was unlike any customer service I have ever recieved. He is a true gem for your organization.
