They forgot to put the dolly in the truck. But they rebated the $10 charge. More importantly, I see a $7 charge pending on my acct and I don't owe that.

Check-in and pickup needs improvement. It took nearly an hour to pick up trailer. The rep knew the trailer we needed was on site, but it wasn't showing up on the computer. The result was we lost an hour of daylight for our move.

We did not receive the truck we ordered or at the location we requested to pick up. Instead we got a much larger one, too big for our needs and the guy could not switch it. The original email confirmation had the correct size, however the email confirmation that came through after uhaul called to confirm had a different size. We were already enroute to get the truck & did not have access to email to see your bait & switch. NOT OK UHAUL... When a customer reserves something specific, perhaps that is what they need for a reason. I'm sure Ryder will get it right for us next time.

You need to work on your trailer loading procedure a little bit. Why would you not have swing-away trailer jacks on your trailers?? It took me and an employee lifting as hard as we could to get the trailer off of my receiver, and then had to push the trailer to its final storage location. Pretty sure jacks cost under $50 dollars and are available at 100 different places. $50 vs someone throwing their back out or having the tongue dent my bumper. Think about it.

I was scheduled to pick up the truck at 800 am and had to wait almost an hour. The attendant was not friendly or helpful, hardly apolioized for making us wait. When I returned the truck a different attendant was also unfriendly and cold. Have your workers be a little more pleasant and also have enough help so we do not have to wait an hour to get a truck. I had two people waiting to help me move and the long wait made it more difficult.

I have had the worst experience with this entire rental! The truck broke down and it took 6 hours for service to come out and eventually tow the truck. In the time that we were waiting the technician was asking us for cigarettes, AND the uhaul representative that was on the phone walking us through this was telling me to tell the technician that "his money is all set". UNPROFESSIONAL! Iwas then called by Julius in the Hartford, ct location, and told that I owe $850 for the repairs required as a result of using diesel. there was no indication on the contract, or by the representative who when over the contract with me, to use regular fuel. I have not gotten a formal breakdown of the cost for repair, however my credit card has already been charged. Lastly, Julius sent me a bill that reflects $872. NOT $850 like he said on the phone. This entire process is a scam!

Improve the level of customer service by adding staff. I understand the nature of the business can be unpredictable; however, the wiating time to lease as well as return a vehicle exceeds what most people in this region will accept.
