I'm a professional mover and use Uhaul in brighton on market street frequently. Poor experience with check out with a Lynn M manager in training. She knows me and still has personality of cardboard. My rental pick up location was changed from brighton to Norwood. Cost me money and had to drive 30 miles and pay employee money for 2 hours. $110. This is what was sent from a Kevin in Arizona of all places. Your U-Haul res 91953967 is sched. at 390 PROVIDENCE HWY in NORWOOD at 7:00 AM on 6/30/2015. Call (781) 769-2240 to confirm. I am irate. Was charge 19.89 for fuel when I drive 100-120 miles and out $27.40 of fuel into the vehicle. You changed my pick up point inconvenienced me and this dim wit Lynn M from brighton has the audacity to charge me extra for fuel when I more than covered what I used. I am a professional mover not a shlep that moves once a year. I was 1 hour late for my client because of the transportation alone. I just rented another 17 footer for a job in Somerville ma. This truck had 189k miles and was a piece of junk. Dash lights didn't work, shifting was very hard, and power steering had issues. Cabin needs cup holders. Checkout was slow - took 25 minutes of my precious moving time.

First they told us we had a half of a tank of gas, when there was a quarter. Then when we were billing out the total of the mileage was incorrectly subtracted and when we asked to have it 're checked the person ignored me so I went to find the manager. I felt that they just didn't care and there was such a language barrier

I reserved a 26' truck for pickup at 7AM on 6/26. I called UHaul repeatedly in advance to confirm that this truck would be available, and UHaul staff on the phone were rude at times. Your staff scolded me that they could not guarantee the truck for me until 24 hours before pickup. Then, the day before my pickup UHaul called me to say that my truck would not be available until 430 on 6/26. Well...I had arranged for movers in the MORNING of 6/26, so UHaul screwed up my entire move. I will never use UHaul again.

I rated my experience "average" b/c when I arrived to return the van, the associate finally came out from a side room, said he'd be right with me. Went over to the break room, prepared his food, put it in the microwave and THEN came over to help me!

Ivan is the man who I dealt with at drop off and pickup. After I got home from returning my truck, he called me to say, I had left some medicine for my diabetes in the truck. Even though it was after closing, he would wait for me to pick it up because he knew I would need it. A very classy man. Thank-you, Ivan.

U-Haul, The attendant mixed up the truck with the paperwork. Even though I notified the attendant that the gas was not full but 3/8 prior to leaving the property, the attendant didn't figure out her error. This cost me precious time. There was bad weather that day and I needed to get going. When I returned the truck, the general manager's son, who refused to give me his name, was not qualified to deal with customers. His dad, the GM, came out to assist and was rude and condescending to me. He refused to give me a paper receipt to close my transaction. Later, he e-mailed me a receipt that included all the mileage and it was not comped for U-Haul's errors like I was told. My bill should be the $30 rental + tax. That's it. That's what I was told. How this issue is resolved will determine if I use U-Haul in the future.

first i would like to think the staff at the norwood location for making my day better. i originally had a reservation ( 91468929) for a trailer and it was not available. One hour before l left my house i called customer service and was told the trailer would be ready and was not there. i called customer service one more time and i was told to drive to a different location in stoughton about 9 miles from norwood and they will keep the same rate of $50.00 instead of $54.00 i think it would cost me more than $4.00 on gas and time after i was told the trailer would be ready. I think that was an insult. Again thank you to the manager and other employee that made my day better

My reservation was for a pick up truck, when I arrived the pick up truck that I was suppose to rent was not back. I had a time line that I had to meet so I had to rent a box truck which was not tall enough for the refrigerator that I purchased. When I went to the store they didnt recommend laying the refrigerator down on its side. I had no choice but to lay the refrigerator down. I was not happy having to purchase a new refrigerator and bring it to the cape on its side.
