I returned 1 week later to rent a truck after great service when I rented a trailer. However, when I called to arrange for a truck on a morning shift the woman "Alicia" was a completely pushy, rude and horrible woman to talk to. Although, as a customer service rep. myself, and more patient than most with a BAD customer service person, I finally had to hang up on her. Because of my positive experience the week before during a rental, I decided to call back later in the evening. A very nice gentleman named "Lucas" was very nice and we were able to get the truck I needed reserved for the following day. It is my desire to NEVER do business with that woman ever. Good thing your other employees are so nice and helpful. Otherwise that Uhaul shop would probably go out of business if the customers had to talk to that woman. She has an arrogant, condescending and just plan rude dimieer with no customer "Service" or listening skills.

I was instructed to bring back the truck at the same gas level as when I took it, which was not completely full. I brought it back at the same level but was required to go back in and pay another $17+. Truck shd be verifiied as being full so it would be wasier to make sure brought in at same level. However, I was pleased that when I needed a larger truck than thought from the size I booked, they had one available and did accomendate me. Thank you.

I own 2 enclosed cargo trailers. Your service, quality of equipment, and rates convince me to use mine for storage rather than transport.The unit I used this week towed easily despite it"s size, 6x12, and easily handled my load. I intended to use an open trailer but one wasn't immediately available.For 6 more dollars you put me in a larger enclosed trailer and I was on my way in minutes. Thanks !

Well i paid for insurance and when returning why did i have to do inspection for person recieving equipment ?? i think he could have done that him self , i did part of his job for him , this was person that got equipment back ,

I personally feel you should have more than one person working the yard with rental hook-ups, and returns, and have others seperately taking care of the contracts at the desk. It was absolutely foolish to have that one girl doing this all herself. Although it was wise of you to have the electric specialist to assist her. He found, and corrected a faulty connection hookup in my trunk, and got me on my way. Kudos to the girl, and the electrician.

HERE IS MY EXPERIANCE WITH YOU COMPANY AND ALSO SOME SUGGESTIONS FOR YOUR FUTURE BUSINESS INTERACTIONS. I AM A BUSINESS OWNER AS WELL AS A CONSUMER. I DO NOT BELIEVE THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT, AS THEY MAY NOT KNOW YOUR BUSINESS. A CUSTOMER MAY KNOW WHAT THEY WANT, IT IS OUR JOB TO PLACE THEM INTO WHAT THEY NEED. WHEN I ENTERED THE STORE AND FEMALE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP WAS RUDE AND OVERALL AGITATED AND IRRITATED BY MY SHEER PRESENCE IN THE STORE. FOLLOWING A LONG WAIT AT COUNTER SHE EMERGED FROM THE DESK WHERE SHE SEEN ME FOR MINUTES AWAITING A SALES REP THEN HAD A POOR ATTIIUDE WITH ME THE CUSTOMER FROM THE WELCOME OF "WHAT CAN I GET YOU!". THE EQUIPMENT WAS COVERED IN DIRT AND GRAVE ON THE OUTSIDE RUNNING BOARDS BUT WAS VERY CLEAN ON THE INSIDE. STAFF NEVER INQUIRED AS TO THE SIZE OF TRAILER PLUG. AFTER WASTING 20 MINUTES TO GET THE INITIAL CONTACT AND PURCHASE DONE I WAS IRRITATED WITH THE FACT I HAD TO THEN GO INSIDE AND MAKE YET ANOTHER PURCHASE OF A PLUG ADAPTOR TO GET THE TRAILER TO THEN WORK AFTER I JUST FINISHED THE RENTAL AGREEMENT. i WAS JUST GOING TO LEAVE AND SAY FORGET THE WHOLE RENTAL AND CO TO ANOTHER BUSINESS. SUGGESTIONS FOR A BUSINESS FROM A BUSINESS OWNER. OPEN OFFICE WALL AREA PLACE CLEAR WINDOW SO CUSTOMERS AND STAFF CAN CLEARLY SEE EACH OTHER, VERY IMPORTANT IF SALES MEMBERS ARE MULTITASKING AND DOING OFFICE WORK AND SALES. SECOND CUSTOMER SERVICE, CUSTOMER SERVICE, CUSTOMER SERVICE!! KNOW YOUR PRODUCT AND SERVICES AND BE WILLING TO SHARE THIS WITH YOUR CUSTOMER. I WENT INTO THE STORE FOR A QUICK NEED FOR A TRAILER , TRUCK OR VAN CAPABLE OF MOVING A LARGE CHAIR AND COUCH AND ONLY LOCAL. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP ASKED ME WHAT I WANTED TO RENT. THIS IS A POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE QUESTION, ALWAYS, EVERY DAY, ANYTIME. YOU ARE THE SPECIALIST FOR YOUR BUSINESS, YOU SHOULD SELL YOUR BUSINESS AND ITS RESOURCES, THIS DOES NOT MEAN STAND AT A REGISTER AND RING UP A SALE THAT IS A CASHIER. YOU ARE A CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON DUE TO YOU MULTIROLE POSITIONS. FIRST QUESTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE LEADING TO WHAT IS THE CUSTOMER TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH. FROM THAT INFORMATION YOU SHOULD GUIDE THE CUSTOMER THROUGH KNOWING YOUR BUSINESS AND ITS CAPABILITIES TOWARDS AN ACCEPTABLE SOLUTION FOR THEIR NEEDS OR POTENTIALLY A SIMPLE SORRY WE CAN'T MEET YOUR NEEDS WITHIN OUT STORE / BUSINESS AT THIS TIME. NOW, IF I WAS ASKED AND THEY RECEIVED THE NEEDS FROM ME THEY SHOULD HAVE ADVISED ME ON THE SUGGESTED SERVICES AVAILABLE FOR NEEDED SPACE. IE A STANDARD COUCH AND A CHAIR WOULD FIT INTO A 4 X 8 TRAILER SO LETS SEE WHAT WE HAVE IN THE SIZE OF CARGO AREA. FOLLOWING CARGO AREA THE MATERIALS BEING TRANSPORTED COMES INTO PLAY. CUSTOMER SERVISE REP NOW SHOULD GET SPECIALIZED WITH WHAT THEY HAVE BEYOND THE BASIC CARGO AREA. DO YOU HAVE A TOW VEHICLE AND WAHT ARE THE NEEDS FOR IT TO WORK ( TRAILER HITCH / PLUGS ) . WHAT ARE YOU SHIPPING IS IT TRANSPORTABLE IN AN OPEN TRAILER OR WOULD IT BE BEST SHIPPED IN AN ENCLOSED TRAILER OR TRUCK. SUCH AS I HERD Y

Exterior of pickup was dirty; windshield had multiple bug "splats"; interior STUNK of cigarette smoke. Functionally, truck drove and operated very well. Why did the check-in person have me operate lighting controls, e.g. high/low beam headlights, front and rear turn signals, brake lights, upon check-in? This check should be done by U-Haul personnel or at least ask user if they would assist them in doing these checks. As I had only drive unit approx. 40 mi, did this check really need to be done by renter???

Make charges and contract very clear. There was Some serious confusion at the drop off point on a Sunday--this was a 1 way rental. Had I not been a logical 70 yr old woman, because of their error, I would have incurred a $180 "wrong drop off destination fee." Read the fine print and check entire contract before signing.

I rented an enclosed trailer to move furniture, when rain was expected, to protect our furniture from water damage. The expectation is that an enclosed trailer would accomplish this, it did not! Our furniture got wet and actually may be permanently ruined. I'm not asking for anything other than to let you know that in the future checking for leakage problems should be performed regularly.

I probably would not recommend it, the wait was unbelievable and only one employee doing everything. People were getting desperate and one customer got tired of waiting and left. I feel sorry for the employee who gets the heat from the waiting customers. It was 6:00 PM
