I used the car trailer transport for less than 2 hours. I was charged a 24 hour minimum. It would be nice, therefore, to have a local rate for, say, 1 to 3 hours usage, at a lower cost. Thank you--DL

This was the worst time I had moving. Although the staff did the best they could offer me, the trouble it caused my family is nothing I would ever expect from U-Haul.
I scheduled a 1:00 pick up time, only to have to return at 2pm because the office as closed. Then a little over 30 minutes into packing the U-haul I received a phone call stating that I had to return the truck because I was given the wrong one. Although the Area Manager brought the new truck to me and offered a VIP service for the inconvenience, I still had to spend 20 minutes UNLOADING my stuff, wait an additional 15 minutes to wait for the vehicle and make the change, and another hour RELOADING my stuff. So because of U-Haul's mistake my family and I were set back over 2 hours! The only thing the manager could do was give me $20.00 off my trailer???? That is COMPLETELY unacceptable customer service. I will most likely NEVER use U-haul again. The manager said he though comping my trailer (at the very least) would be apporpriate but he would lose his job.......What kind of management does your organization have that doesnt allow for its managers to make appropriate considerations for its customers. In my business if I hadnt offered it for free I would have lost my job......Your #1 priority is the customer and although the staff in Ojai did "what they could" it was not enough!
