brainna I believe her name was very nice and friendly and helped us with everything we needed to get settled into a storage shed that we rented from her. I would recommend that location to anyone that would ask me. I hope this email will be forwarded to them because she deserves a thumbs up for her customer service.

Very displeased with the manager at this location, Matthew. He told us over the phone that the total charge would be just under 50 dollars. We were going to be paying in cash so we wanted to make sure that we were told of all charges. We asked if there were any other charges over the phone before we went up there, Matthew told us that was it, no mention of any mileage charges whatsoever. We had never rented a truck like this before so we should not have been expected to know a mileage charge before-hand. When we got there Mr Professional, Matthew, tells us that our total charge would be just under $100 because of the mileage charge. We explained to Matthew that we were told it would 50 and not 100, he just kept saying "I'm sorry there's nothing I can do." He said this over and over and told my sister that he assumed we knew about the mileage charge. How would we automatically know that if we had never used U-Haul before. Complete horrible business practice on either the company's part or that location. Even one of the workers mentioned to Matthew, in front of us, "yeah Matt that is kind of false advertising, I've seen this happen before." Really? This has happened before and has never been addressed? We demanded that Matthew waive the mileage charge since it wasn't disclosed, but he refused. We were only going 25-30 miles round trip and this would have been the most logical way to handle this from a customer service standpoint, but I guess this is not a priority at Uhaul. We still deserve a refund because of the crappy service, but I'm sure it won't happen. Next time we move it will just be worth it to us to hire movers than go through this experience again. Trust me I will be passing along this experience to anyone I can as well unless anybody there that has a clue about customer service makes it right.

After the rental experience at the u haul on 89th and walker, which I will never use again, the personal here was awesome. I was able to get my car home and return the dolly the same day. Thank you.

I had made my reservation at Phelan Gas. A couple of days later Ruth from your corporate office contacted me to complete my reservation. Even though I told Ruth repeatedly that I wanted to pick the trailer up in Phelan, CA and drop it off in Purcell, OK she made my pick up point Apple Valley, CA ( about 40 miles away) and the drop off point Oklahoma City, OK (again about 40 miles away). I was told in Purcell that I would be charged a $69 wrong drop off location fee if I dropped it there. I am very dissatisfied with the way I was inconvenienced.

When changing a customer's reservation, be sure you are changing the CORRECT customer. My reservation wasn't ready and this move cost an additional several hundred more than intended because things weren't ready on time, including the reservation to the new storage unit. Both places were terribly unorganized!

Don't wait until customer shows up to do maintenance on trailer. The manager had 8 hours from the time I made the appointment to get the trailer ready, waited until I arrived 7 hooked up trailer to change a light while I waited for 15 minutes.

I can no longer recommend U haul for anything. I regret that your company caused me so much grief and cost in my move. I regret that you failed to provide me with the contracted equipment. I regert that your rep misrepresented the equipment to be furnished to alleviate their need to supply me with the correct equipment. I regret that I will now have to find another company to supply equipment to finish my move because U haul has not responded to any of my requests to review this matter. I do not plan to use your company again. I have used your equipment for over 50 years. It is a shame that your representative made such a blatant misrepresentation of the capacity of the equipment with which she was replacing my originally contract equipment. Had she been truthful about the loading capacity, I would have never agreed to the change. Your rep was more interested in alleviating your companies need to fulfill my contract, than she was with honesty and providing accurate information as to the equipment she was using to replace my 26 ft truck which U haul contracted to provide me. Uhaul's neglect to be diligent and truthful in this matter has cost me significantly. I have to rent another vehicle, additional loaders and unloaders (I am disabled and cannot load myself), additional fuel, another day travel, costs of meals--significantly. The rep's only goal was to convince me that the equipment she was changing my contract to was equivalent in cubic footage with the 26 ft. It was not. Her misrepresentation of the facts, was intentional, willful, and directed not at meeting my needs, but at finding relief for Uhaul for not having my equipment available as required by the contact. I know a lot of people say they influence people in their moves. The fact is that I have over 7,000 dealers who I do have influence over. Many of them have used U haul because of my recommendation. My recommendation has now changed because of this experience, and U haul's disinterest in doing anything.

There was a new person and when she did something incorrectly the other employees were loud and visibly annoyed (slightly) and tried to correct/train her before allowing me to go on about my day even tho the transaction was complete. Just seemed unprofessional and I felt bad for the employee. Also my truck was dirty inside and out and the gas tank was less full than my paperwork said. An employee tried to convince me not to annotate anything and just trust her because she would remember tomorrow.
