Everyone who we talked to at this location was so helpful, professional, and friendly. I would definitely recommend this U-Haul location to friends. I never had to wait long when I called, and they were very knowledgeable and could answer my questions well. They helped us choose boxes and packing supplies, get a great price on a truck (the best price by far in Kansas City), and reschedule the time we picked up the truck. Overall, it was a great experience!

The overnight drop off was confusing. It was difficult to find where to put the keys. There was virtually no parking near the UHaul to leave the truck. My overal rental experience with UHaul was awful. They made an already stressful and difficult move much worse. I will not be using UHaul ever again.

I was treated very kindly. I had an issue getting lights working on trailer. attendant went to get a spray that would clean corrosive off of plug. Took about 5 min for him to return, after which I had already resolved the problem. But that could be considered a problem on my part.
Another issue I had was that the trailer leaked. Not sure if you can track the trailer I had, but at least the doors leaked allowing rain to get in and get my stuff wet. Fortunately the stuff that got wet was able to handle it and could be mostly wiped off. But some customers may have an issue with it. You may want to get the weather stripping replaced.

Very difficult to get into the location and impossible to reach them by phone. Frustrating that all calls went to a call center - no help.

This has always been 1 of the toughest locations to deal with when it comes to the folks inside. The yard people are always very helpful. I was also told since I was returning the trailer after hours to put it in the after hours lot. After asking a few times by phone, I found the after hours lot on my own since the gates were locked at the main location.

No smoking allowed in vehicles would be an improvement. We drove 50 miles total and by the time we got done we smelled like we were smokers.

make sure other people understand what you are saying when you say your trucks rent for $19.95 a-day. What constitute a-day, because your policy is not very clear on that.

Overall a good experience, but the times and dates were changed on me at both ends. I was never charged any more, it was just confusing, initially set up for one day, then asked to pick up sooner. That was fine, but then for the return they said it was due a day sooner than I was told in the beginning. Like I said, the money never changed, so that was good.

The parking lot outside the location became cluttered with cars, trailers, and trucks when multiple customers are picking up their reservations or returning equipment, as happened when I returned my trailer. I think it would be beneficial to work out a more organized system of pickups and returns, so that everyone can be handled in as orderly a fashion as possible, say by having all trailer returns come through the south entrance and park in assigned places in the west side of the lot.
