Have more than one person on staff available if possible. Had to wait a bit when returning the truck because there was a lady getting a quote inside who was asking tons of questions. Other than that, excellent experience.

The fuel level in the truck was not what was stated on the form I was given. It was almost 1/4 of a tank less than what the form stated. I didn't notice it until I had already left the lot.Check the fuel BEFORE you leave the lot.

I had to call 3 different people to try and find a place to drop off the equipment. Each one sent me back to step one. This took about 45 minutes and alot of frustration and waste of time. I will not be choosing uhaul for my moving needs again.

Nice staff, nice facility. I was charged for someone elses truck on my debit card though. My total was 28.00 with 8 miles, i was charged 106.00 on top of 80.00 deposit for 400 miles, was not very happy. We will see Monday if i have been reimburst.

The truck was ready for the junk yard. They have all these new trucks parked out front and they brought me this piece of junk from the back after I had already paid. They said the new trucks were for out of town trips. I will NEVER rent from U-Haul again!!!

This truck needed to be taken out of service until the free play in the front end is fixed. That request was not even logged into the system. Plus, the manager was training a new guy.

I did not appreciate being called after having the car dolly for only 4 hours and being told that they needed it back right away so they could rent it out a second time in one day. When I asked about a discount for returning it, I was told "Sorry, that's the way things are and you don't get any discount." To me, this was wrong. I told them, the next time I rent something from them, I will keep whatever it is for the full 24 hours that I rented it for. To that I was told "Sorry you feel that way but this dolly was reserved for a week and we needed it back." I will be shopping around for other places I can do business with. I am sure U-Haul isn't the only business in the area that rents equipment that I use.

Although I dropped the truck after hours I had stopped by the day before and the employee was very helpful. In fact, he recommended I do a one-way rental which saved me money. Excellent.

fill the uhaul up instead of leaving it at whatever someone lleft it at for us to guess on what we need to put in the tank to avoid to userage rate you charge if someone guesses wrong

Don't lie to them. The staff who hooked up the trailer said the signals and brake lights worked. That was a lie. I was advised the signals were not working and there was only one brake light working when we got miles down the road. A dangerous situation. The staff at the Carbondale location told me my hook up was defective (bent contacts) and so it had been that way when the Paducah staff told me it was working.

The truck was not in very good shape. The engine thumped and shook and ran overall very poorly. When going uphil on the highway, I could not get the truck past 55 miles per hour in a 70 mph zone. The drivers seat belt hung loose on me and the window leaked in the rain.
The people that worked at this location were very helpful and friendly an the offices were clean. Great location, but a lousy piece of equipment!

Fuel mileage was very poor. 17' truck - 20 mile rental - took 6 gal.s to return at same level. Seems way too poor. Kept economy gauge in green entire time. I have more rentals to do. Store said that they have trucks with better mileage, but not avail. For local rentals.
