I rented a truck twice within three days. The first visit, I received the truck on empty and had to put gas in it. Although I received a credit for this, it was still an inconvenience. The second rental went much better, the salesperson, Mr. Jackson was very knowledgeable and helpful and I would recommend renting from this facility again.

Last dolly reserved, the couple in front of me was very upset they could not rent that dolly to them because I had already reserved it, Jim did the right thing as I was in a real pickle having to retrieve my car broken down 90 miles away from home, kudos, I will rent from UHaul again in the future

The clerk wouldn't do a walk around when I returned the vehicle back to this location. He keep saying g we have your email address we will send you your final bill. Two hours after returning the vehicle I called and no one knew I returned it in......wow

Being that chicago and surrounding cities like mine which is University park is such a large area, have ore locations. I paid more or mileage to get the u haul home then to actually move. My move was 2 miles but it took 10 miles to get there.

Nothing at all. The young light skin guy at the front counter was very helpful. Through my years in the Hospitality industry I have yet to meet some one as nice as the young guy we encounter doing our visit.... I believe his name was Giovanni??. But he was very helpful. 5 stars in my book. (*****)

The online system is very frustrating. I had my confirmation of picking up a 17' in Frankfort, and returning it in Chicago. The day before my pickup I get call from someone telling me they don't have a truck and I have to go to Bridgeview. The online system doesn't work. The folks at the individual businesses were great to work with.

If a truck has been reserved for a certain time on a certain date weeks ahead of time, your scheduling should MAKE SURE the truck is there as promised! We had 2 crews lined up in 2 states and not having the truck when promised caused real issues. Your scheduling people obviously overbooked. You can't cause problems like that AND change the pick-up location LESS THAN 24 HOURS BEFORE a move and expect customers to be happy!!! I was and still am furious at the lack of consideration on your company's part. If you want to improve customer service and keep customers happy...DON'T DO THIS TO PEOPLE!!! I don't care if it IS a busy time. Get your scheduling right!

Equipment reserved was not available so they asked us to switch from cargo van to 17 foot truck. We refused and were than offered a pick-up truck which we reluctantly took (rain was expected that is why we had reserved a cargo van in the first place). It is also ridiculous that my debit card was charged $80 and I have to wait up to 10 business days for a refund on a less than a $50 invoice. Facility is understaffed for amount of business. Had a 10 am reservation and was finally waited on at 10:30. Also had to wait 15 minutes for someone to check us in when we returned the vehicle.

hire some honest help who will not try to cheat the customer.Stop trying to boost up the return millage. most people know how to add and subtract(DERICK in PARK FOREST)and take pictures of the return millage for proff. make sure you have proff of gas purchased for return dropoff.

Second visit.The pick-up truck was in good shape. U-Haul representative help show me the inside of the truck and how to use the brakes. My First visit to U-Haul was not a good one.My truck request was not correct. The truck available was a larger truck not what I requested. Representative did not show me the inside of this large 27 truck or how to use the parking brakes! Everyone was busy. I had problems with the truck.Please alert all U Haul techs to show and explain to customers important information about the truck...example how to use the trucks brakes? I hope this my last visit to U-Haul!
