Your representatives, were polite, professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. If the is an indication of U-Haul companywide, then I look forward to doing business with U-Haul again in the future.

Wish you had some free parking. But otherwise, no problems whatsoever. Renting a U-Haul van was quick and easy.

Train the manager in good customer service techniques. He acted as though he was doing me a favor by doing business with me. If I were not pressed for time I would have taken my business elsewhere.

there was a stale smell of smoke in the vehicle.

The staff at this location are always courteous and efficient and accomodating. Renting a truck can be something that one does just every-so-often; people forget procedures, requirements, etc from the last time they did it. 13th Street's Uhaul staff explain everything completely, make suggestions - they're nice people who know their jobs. A good bunch - at a good central location.

Store did not have supplies reserved. Furniture dolly was not available. Regular dolly was not available. I had to go to another location to pick up supplies.

The people at the location were very professional, pleasant, and helpful. The truck was clean and comfortable; the only problem was that the roof leaked somewhere. When we got to our destination (it rained all the way) and started to unload, everything was wet on the bottom, and the floor was wet and slippery. Otherwise, it was a very good experience.

The truck smelled a bit like smoke from a previous driver. The staff was very friendly.

Exceptionally pleasant and capable woman doing paperwork in office; likewise the young man who came out to receive the returned truck when we returned it - we didn't even have to go inside. Best rental experience I've ever had, for sure (and I'm 61.)

This location is located on skid row. We saw numerous drug sales and crack smoking and one individual attempted to get inside the bed of the UHaul truck. This facility needs locked gates to protect theft and damage to UHaul vehicles and create a safe and welcoming environment for customers. Or it should be relocated - that would be the best idea.

Not the best area

I reserved an INCITY van. Hakeem courteously and promptly finalized my contract. His colleague drove the van to to the garage exit. The return of the van later on in the day was equally as smooth with different staff on duty. I compared the ZIPSTER price for renting a van and for the purposes of my move, I am glad that I chose UHAUL, because you can reserve the van for the day --whereas at ZIPSTER you have to be very careful about the numbers of hours you reserve the van and with moves, things happen! It is easy to go over hour budget with Zipster. The insurance for the van (Damages with 150$ deductible) is only $10.00. You do pay 89 cents a mile on a Saturday, but i clocked in only 10 miles (less than cost of cab ride in Center City). You pay for gas too, but for in-city move, the gas does not wrack up.

When I picked up the vehicle it was the best service I have ever had with uhaul (the guy was super fast friendly and to the point). When I dropped it off it was the worst service I've ever had at uhaul (when I first went in to ask about where I can park the vehicle the guy wasn't too polite. Then when I asked a question about the contract the women didn't understand what I was referring to; she thought I was speaking about one thing when really it was another. I asked if the bill had a "service charge" for the fueling but she just thought I was asking about the per gallon. This would be fine if she didn't go from misunderstanding the nature of the conversation to thinly veiled insults. In the end she never actually understood what I was asking. I was thinking about renting a storage unit from there in a couple month because I was able to look at them while I was waiting but now I'm thinking about going elsewhere.
