Worst moving experience I have ever had in my life. The customer service when I had a problem was even worse. I rented a trailer to drive across the country. As soon as I got on the highway it was clear that the trailer was not safe to drive anywhere near legal highway speeds with my car even though uhaul certified it could safely tow the trailer. Uhaul claims that their trailers have to be driven below legal highway speeds (less than 45 mph) to be safe in some situations. Going down hill at 40 miles an hour my car was almost pushed off the road. When I returned the trailer and asked for a refund because I obviously could not use it to tow across the country I spent a week getting transferred around customer service before I was promised only a partial refund. The refund was never processed and they won't return my phone calls to find out why. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Uhaul should be embarrassed, apparently they have my money and do not care. I will never use Uhaul again.

The staff were nice but the policies of U-Haul were not--too many nitpicky fees. The people at the store, however, held up well under the constraints of an unreasonable system.

Get more staff to alievate the lonnnng lines. Also I stood there while the person at the desk told a customer their wasn't any cargo vans left for rental, then goes into the system which I believe he deletes my reservation. When I get to the counter my reservation is magically canceled. Poor customer service!!!!!

Have what is reserved 7 days in advance available. The trailer was not locked down correctly and came off on the highway nearly causing a multi-car accident. If we would have received the truck ordered there wouldn't have been a need for a trailer!

I was scammed, the gas tank read full when I got it so I was instructed to return it as full. I only drove 14 miles and to fill the tank was 6 gallons of gas or $22. There's no way the UHaul cargo van gets 2.33 MPG, absolute rip off, will never use UHaul EVER again.

I would first like to say that usually, I have good service at Uhaul but yesterday was a whole new ball game. This morning I reserved an auto transport dolly at the N. 13th location in Philadelphia, PA. When I arrive, they state the dolly I want is not available at that location. The person was helpful and gives me a number to call so I did not have to call all over the city for. Long story short, I find the dolly at the university location, 48th & chestnut, Philadelphia, pa. When I arrive, I had to wait 30 minutes before being seen due to a line of only 3 people ahead of me but one cashier who did not know what he was doing. When I get him, he tells me they have this dolly I need but my reservation is not in the system for this location. I explained the situation and he states its fine; walk outside and they can hook-up the dolly. After getting the dolly hooked, I had to go back in and wait in line all over again. Now I finally get him after 20 minutes this time around. When I get him, he has to do everything all over in the system again. This took another 30 minutes which was upsetting but was happy to finally be finished. Now this was all to yesterday; I decided that I only needed it for a few hours instead of 24 hours. I return it and they tell my husband that I will be charged $70 instead of $59.35. This is upsetting because the extra cost could not be explained. Now I would like to make a complaint against this location and have the manager's name. I would to know what the extra cost is for as the charge hold is $59.35. Uhaul process of how they handle there customers at this location is very poor and needs improvement. I will be writing my review and will not be good. This was a nightmare and I have a 19 month old daughter so my time is very crucial. Thank you, Amber Ettienne

Most of the staff was very helpful, however the truck was not prepared at the respective pickup time because they were just beginning to process some repairs on it. Additionally, one of the managers (at least she seemed to be a manager from the way other people reacted to her) was extremely rude when we noticed a discrepancy in how much fuel was in the car.

I go to this location to rent truck from you 3 to 4 times a month and every time I go there is always only one or two people working and it takes 45 minutes either check your truck in 45 minutes to get one right out.... Why is this Location starting to go down with customer service it used to be so good.

I made a reservation 1 week in advance for a 9 am Sunday pickup in Havertown PA. Then I received a phone call in the afternoon the day before moving telling me that my reservation was changed to 12 pm in Philadelphia. After calling customer service the agent was able to get a truck for 9 am as originally requested, but said I would still have to drive down into the city (where i was very nervous about driving a large truck). When we arrived to pick up the truck the manager was nice but we had to wait because the truck was not ready. With the stress of moving this last minute change was very frustrating.
