Be sure the individual from U-haul actually does the inspection with the customer. Location tried to accuse me of breaking something that was already broken. Even though I pointed it out to an employee. Always get it in writing!!!

The van was in poor shape (graffiti painting and dented). The service was really bad, unprofessional, and slow. At one point someone refused to do the work. I will try to find a more suitable provider in the future.

Having lived in Philadelphia for several years, I can say 48th and chestnut is not a good location. I had no issues with the staff, however, they told me I could drop my 10' truck off anywhere in Arlington, VA which wasn't the case. Went to the Uhaul of Columbia Pike - in Falls Church, VA - and they told me I couldn't park there and the Uhaul in Philly told me wrong. They - Columbia Pike - were fine, but not accommodating or concerned in the slightest.

Service was slow and horrible. I had to explain simple things many times, like the size of a truck to getting confirmation on gas fining, after I filled it up, was charged anyway. Unsatisfactory 100%

I utilized the overnight drop off at this location. Due to improper documentation of the correct fuel level from my pick up location, I was overcharged in gas and refueling fees. I tried calling the location several times, but due to their call volume, was forwarded to their call center. After 3 days of trying, on the 4th day I finally got in contact with someone by the name of Kelly. She was pleasant on the phone and addressed my issue immediately, being sure to look at the proof I provided and refund me the money I was owed. Although I did not go into the actual facility, I would recommend this location to a friend because they are willing to work with you and seem to be very friendly.

It seemed to be rather busy when we arrived. Only one Uhaul representative, but several people waiting for assistance. I am not sure if everyone had previously reserved a truck (I know we did online a week + in advance), so it seemed that perhaps they needed to have more staff on duty. Having stated that, rest assured that the staff that was there, was working efficiently and quickly yet providing everyone with the service and attention that was needed.

The staff do not look presentable. The girl working there was texting on her phone while I was waiting for the other male staff member to finish what he was doing before he waited on me. When I returned the truck I rented I was charged $15.00 for fuel. I filled the truck over the level that I rented it, Which was almost a 1/4 tank. I filled it to 1/2 a tank. I called they said it was nothing they could do because that is what the staff member said. I was at work and could not go back to the site to check the truck. Why would they do this to me I do not know. I'm Very upset.

Rented a 5 x 8 , I inspected the trailer internally, apparently the previous renter was hauling would it type objects, which left a residue of wet twigs/wood fragments, U-Haul representative, replied will clean up trailer, Yet I thought to myself there may be electrical wiring damage, which was founded, after looking the trailer up to my vehicle's electrical system. They U-Haul representative seem to indicate the trailer lights system was satisfactory, yet due to my background in military combat communications systems repair technician, I decided to make my own operational observation of the trailers rear lighting systems, it felt my inspection, overall lights were very dim, Right turn signal, appeared to be in operable although the sound was very bright, I notified they U-Haul representative, to reinspect trailer lighting system, as well as suggested there may be a short, which could cause, a fused to blow with him my vehicles system, which happen allegedly last year from a another U-Haul trailer that was very rusted. As a result they U-Haul representative switch trailers, although I use the trailer primarily in the daytime, I noticed, when I took to a trailer to my laundrymat that evening, the trailer marker lower side lights were flickering. I have no idea what the rear lights were doing. I believe that these trailers should be tested annually or semiannually at night on bumpy roads. and that due to our severe storming seasons, the undercarriage should be properly lubricated to cut down the road noise as well as preserve the suspension systems. Otherwise everything was fine/excellent checkout was a lot faster than previous experiences, did not use express checkout option, although information has never been transmitted to the designated U-Haul station computer at the time of this survey to the best of my knowledge, someone should check the system out bimonthly as if they were a customer.

Our experience picking up our reserved trailer was very poor. The wait time was very long and it seemed that there were several workers ambling around doing nothing. The manager on staff was over worked and it seemed that no one was helping. There were two plain clothed u-haul employees there at the time behind the counter taking out vans for their use. They were behind the counter hanging out and interrupting service. We dropped off the trailer 6 days later and that went smoother.

Dropped off on a 98 degree very humid day at noon. Went inside to do return, was very nicely told to go back outside and wait at truck and someone would do return. No one outside acknowledged me for at least 15mins, then was left to wait outside for another 30mins before return was started. The man doing the return never greeted me or said anything...very strange. Having said that he wasn't rude or offensive, just odd that he didn't speak. Maybe he was heat beat, not a busy time, only 1 man before me...hmmm
