There was no direction when I arrived so I waited 15min to hand someone my keys an be ushered out the door. This location sucks, it was an unorganized mess and the employees there were also not helpful.

came in at 9 for a 9:15 reservation and waited for 1hr to get the truck... there was only one person working and she was friendly, but the wait was ridiculous and not returning here again.

Make sure that they truck are in working order I had to pay two people to give me a jump on your truck and then you didn't want to pay me back for that

there was only person at the reservation desk. even though everyone at the line had a reservation, it still took 1 hour 8 minutes to get to the desk. a second person at the desk would be great. we also turned in the truck after the close, and it was a pain to park it in the lot as due to the unclear instructions folks only parked halfway thorough the return area.

I rented a uhaul from 7am Friday morning to 7pm Saturday night. I called to make the reservation over the phone. I then confirmed the reservation over the phone 3 separate times. I had to be out of my apartment by 11am on Friday and then I did not get the keys to my new house until 1pm Saturday. I received multiple confirmation emails showing that my reservation was from 7am Friday to 7pm Saturday. On Friday morning when I went to go pick up my uhaul, I was informed that I could only have the truck until 2pm on Saturday (only 1 hour after I would get the keys). How on earth was I supposed to unload a 20 foot truck and return it in one hour? I ended up unloading all of my stuff onto the front lawn before 1pm so that I could get the truck back in time. I was not informed of the change in my reservation until I was at uhaul picking up the truck. Lakisha was extremely rude; she shouldn't have a job working with people. This was a miserable experience, and if I had known about the change in my reservation in advance, I would have cancelled it. I will not be using this uhaul again.

I had an issue with my mileage, I was charged more per mile than originally quoted. Ms.Harrison took care of my issue and credited me back the difference. I would definately use this location sign in the future.

My order/reservation was changed by someone from this location. I have asked to confirm reservation for AT (Auto Transport Trailer) but he actually reserved a new AV (5×8 trailer), makinh things quite confusing.

Pick up was scheduled at 12th & Washington Street location, but equipment was unavailable due to U-Haul computer error, Waited on line four times, and manager at that location was somewhat rude. Manager at University City location (Laneesha) was extraordinarily helpful.

Our pick-up experience was as easy as possible. We were not thrilled to have to drive halfway across the city to pick up the trailer, but each individual location (U City and Hunting Park) was professional and easy to work with, so we didn't mind as much.

This was not where I wanted to drop the equipment off. If I rent equipment again I will be sure to get the drop off location I requested. 40 minute out of my way was not what I wanted after a 2 long days of moving.

My reservation was not held twice in the same day. I called the night before to reserve a seventeen foot truck. The next morning, someone called me and offered me a pickup truck, as there were no other trucks available. I asked the rep how a reservation wasn't held. I declined the pickup truck. He hungup on me, and later I found out that he canceled my reservation completely. Later in the morning, I went to the dealership to investigate. I asked a rep to hold for me a seventeen foot truck for the afternoon. In the afternoon, I called to confirm my reservation, only to learn that the rep had never reserved my truck. I would suggest that Uhaul maintain a percentage of trucks to cover trucks that aren't returned. If on average, five percent of vehicles aren't returned when due, then add five percent to your existing fleet. Trucks that are not returned, are producing money anyway, as customers will pay for the additional rental time. Having extra trucks set aside for trucks not returned will ensure that no one has the negative experience of a broken promise- reservation mishonored. Word of mouth regarding a negative business experience, is much more devastating than the positive effects of a good experience. Anyone can take a reservation, but it takes a good company to actually hold and honor the reservation. I believe this strategy may help Uhaul to become a better company.

I reserved a 24 foot truck, on Saturday morning August 1, 2015 at the location above, however I received an email that I could pick up a 20ft truck in West Philadelphia at 3pm on August 1st. This is an unacceptable change. I needed a truck first thing in the morning and a 20 foot truck is insufficient for moving my home. I am requesting the $50 guarantee Uhaul offers when the truck is not what I reserved. I called the main customer service line and was spoken to rudely and then hung up on. I reserved another truck and was assured it would be what I needed, however, when I received the information about it I found out it was a 17 foot truck at another far location. This is completely unacceptable.

The staff was fabulous, everyone was in an available and jovial mood. I really appreciated how comfortable they made me and understood what might be confusing. The only issue I had was that when I arrived, I was told the gas tank was not full. I went to the gas station, filled it up, came up, and was told it was still empty. I ended up paying for the under filled gas tank. I didn't understand how that happened..

I was bummed out by the fact that there were so many costs that drove the price up to $80! I guess I expected to spend less money based on the "Starting at $19.95!" sticker on the side of all your trucks. Just tell me up front it's going to be $80.

The customer service rep that I worked with was fantastic. The truck itself had a bunch of warning lights on, something about checking the tire service maintenance something or another, but it wasn't a problem for driving it.
