After waiting in line for 45 minutes we finally got the truck. I will never rent this truck again because of the wheel wells. It messes up the room you have to pack things. Then when we got back they got the mileage wrong, to our benefit, but we were honest and pointed it out , which took more time..

Apart from one very minor issue, everything went well and I felt the prices were reasonable. The issue was that the web site indicated there was no availability for the size truck I wanted, but when I called the store, they said there was a truck available. It all worked out in the end, but it would have been nice to be able to reserve the truck after hours via the web site.

My husband and I were very disappointed with our experience at Uhaul. We rent a 10 foot and an appliance dolly as we needed to move a fridge. We got to the location of the fridge and found out the Uhaul had no ramp so we had to lift the fridge on our own. We never used the dolly since there was no ramp and when I called Uhaul to let them know that I should not pay for a dolly that I could not use since there was no ramp, the man said I signed a contract so there is nothing he could do. My husband also got stuck as the seat belt was broken, it took us ten minutes to get him out of the seat belt because the latch was broken. Does anyone not check the trucks regularly and why would all the trucks not have a ramp since they are moving trucks????

Staff and supervisor (manager) shoud be clear, organized and responsible to fulfill what is said or promised to the customer. They should perform so much better their job and clarify ANY query or doubt, and fix up ALL misunderstanding or confusion that the client may have!

This scenario was one of the most unorganized situations I have ever dealt with. There is seriously not even room to type All the issues I had. 1 thing I will say though is that the truck was clean when I picked it up, but they squirted out the back of the truck with a hose (which is where you load your boxes / furniture / etc.) so needless to say I spent close to an hour wiping down / drying the inside of the truck so that I could start loading stuff in it without getting it soaking wet. The rest was more of a nightmare and so unprofessional.

The person who took my return Armando or Ramiro... I cannot recollect his name right now because the slip or receipt he gave me is not on hand as I write this review... but the customer service was HORRIBLE. I made sure to have it be known to the many people in line how they need to be careful about the milage. I am not sure how many miles per gallon the truck takes but I put $10 (I have proof of ATM transaction) in and I think the mileage I drove was like 24 miles. Price of gas was like $3.30 per gallon. So that means I put at least 3 gallons back into the truck... so that means that the truck must get less than 8 miles per gallon which is ridiculous OR it means that your service person was wrong to charge me $10.08 for returning the truck with less gas then when I took it... which is what he did... and he was WRONG... why was he wrong??? Well I explained it to him. I told him that I did put gas in the truck and put it back the way I found it. Then when he insisted that I show him the receipt (I had left it at home) I told him to show me on the truck where that paper says it was. THAT is when I realized the mistake. It was not my mistake, nor was it the person who took it mistake. It was just a mistake. The mistake was that when the person took the gas reading he looked at it from OUTSIDE the truck looking in. When I verified it, I looked at it from OUTSIDE the truck looking in. Because of the height of the truck that reading is DIFFERENT than if one would take the reading from sitting INSIDE the truck because your view is at a different slant. I tried to explain this to the person and all he kept asking for was the slip I got from the original reading. EVEN after I explained to him that the slip wouldn't make a difference becaused the difference is from which viewpoint you are looking at the gas gauge. I even showed him how it looks different when you are standing outside the truck then when you are sitting in the truck. The guy saw that it was different but yet he was insistant that I should have known to sit in the truck and read it from there. HOW RIDICULOUS!! The customer should always be considered right especially if they can argue their case. It was $10.08 when I was already paying over $200 dollars. it was not the point of the money and more so the principal. So you better believe that I went in there and made sure EVERYONE in LINE knew about the horrible customer service I got and how they can keep from having UHAUL pull the same stunt on them. NOW... I'm going to tell EVERYONE how to beware of UHAULS little trick to charge you more money. Thanks to your employee.

Second experience dealing with u haul. I'm disappointed I gave them another chance. I will never ever go back to u haul as long as I live. My first experience was a nightmare and I don't feel like u haul took care of such a serious issue. Especially since I am already at the time struggling. What was done was not enough. I drove alone with my 3 sons with a car that would not drive straight! Very unsafe. Then when the cR was switched out in Oregon the car had not been cleaned! Stains all over the seats and there was still trash in it! Comping me for one day after my horrific last experience was shameful. I'm truly sorry I went there to give u haul one last chance at continuing my business. Very dissapointed I do expect more from a company like u haul. I deserved at least a week free due to all the safety hazards and trouble we had to go through. Unless u haul does not make a change now, never will I deal with them again. Thank you for you're time.
