Everything went ok except, I was told that I had the right size hitch, but when I went to Boise to pick up the trailer they told me the hitch was the wrong size. And had to buy one in order to tow the trailer.

The manager, Ivan was rude and curt. He was grossly under staffed so he was trying to do a million things at once. I arrived in line 30 minutes before 3 other parties. When he finally had time to assist me he chose to do all 4 transactions at the same time which made each one slower. The other parties got their trucks at the same time as me which was not only unfair but it took him 40 minutes to finish my transaction whereas it would have taken 5-10 minutes had he just helped in a first-come, first-served manner.

The front fender mount on the left side was not properly maintained on the tow dolly that I received. This was noted and did not affect the safe operation of the equipment for the short haul that I performed. The equipment would need to be repaired before use on a long haul.

The employee's sarcasm isn't needed. I don't know him and joking about the small print on the forms doesn't give me assurance that reviewed all the relevant points with me. I don't need to be told three times the consequences of not buying the insurance. Being professional and polite is the only acceptable means of communication. "Good morning, how can I help you?" "Thank you for your business, have a greet day!"

Ivan Gilder general manager has poor customer service skills as well as no concern about a customers financial situation I spent near 800 dollars and he complained about 3 gallons of gas and charged me 20 dollars for those 3 gallons inconsiderate and rude unacceptable way to treat people

Too much time with the inspection, makes you almost perinoide that there may be a little mark you didn't find and be charged, That said, the return and drop off was painless and fast, No complaints!!!

I paid in full for the truck and the trailer the day I picked up the truck and loaded that night. I went back the next day to pick up the trailer and I was asked to pay again for the trailer. I had my paperwork which showed I paid. Agent at the location could not clear the request for repayment. He called to UHaul and another person had to go through to bypass which took a long time. I was told that it should be okay, but watch my bank account. Today I see I was billed the second time so now I have to go through this whole process again. Very aggrevating when I paid in full up front. Waste of time and energy of UHaul staff and my time and energy.

Our initial experience was good. The gentleman that helped us was knowlegeable, considerate and thorough. I'm sorry I don't remember his name. However, when we returned the vehicle an hour and a half later, we realized the gas guage was off. We drove less than 9 miles and had to put in 5 1/2 gallons of gas! I may have looked at the guage wrong in the beginning so I suppose we'll say that's my fault. The real problem was when we returned the vehicle. We walked in and there were two other customers in line at the register. We all waited in silence (which we didn't mind) but then the cashier, Robin said "It'll be awhile, I haven't clocked in yet." We stood there, we and the other 2 customers, while she stared at the clock. Finally, 15 minutes later another young man (not the one from earlier) came to help all of us (while she sat and stared). He was so completely rude and just argued with us about the gas. I told him it was fine and I didn't mind paying extra if I had looked at guage wrong. That is my fault. But treating me like I'm stupid when I had to pay for 5 1/2 gallons of gas (nearly $20) for driving 8.2 miles is uncalled for. I never complain so I will apologize if this gets anyone in hot water. However, if your employees want to come in early to work, then they should be working or stay in the back. I've worked customer service for 25+ years and I know the customer ISN'T always right.. But in this case, the customer was. I don't need to be reimbursed, I just think you should train your employees to have a little more respect for the customers who are ultimately ensuring their paychecks.

Our entire experience was a living nightmare. Even though we made our reservation 3 weeks in advance, they still mixed things up and rented our truck to someone else, leaving us scrambling for a truck that was the right size for our move. In the end it all worked out, but it was a nightmare for a couple of days while we got things sorted out.

I think it is a bunch of crap that you charge for an adapter for the trailer lights, selling it instead of loaning or even renting it with a deposit to return. The dam adapter cost me as much as the trailer to rent......a bunch of crap....!!

The call center double booked my truck, so when I got there they told me that I did not have a truck. If I remember correctly, the desk clerk was Shawn and was awesome.He shuffled some schedules and found a truck for me.

I called on 9/16 at 7:45am to try to extend my rental through the week as I have been unable to close on my new home due to a mistake by my lender. I was told that wasn't possible even though the truck was completely full of my families items. I asked to speak to a manager/supervisor just to see if there was any options (I do understand that someone else was setup to have the truck but wanted to check for any possible solution short of having to unload everything). I was told a manager would call me right away after giving my contact information. No call happened. I ended up having to spent a large part of my day unloading the uHaul and getting another one to load it into. Overall I was dissatisfied with the customer service I received.

I had an appointment scheduled for 8:30am. There were customers working with a clerk ahead of me renting a vehicle as well. No one came to assist this clerk when we arrived a we were not helped until 10 minutes after our appointment time. The clerk working was very nice and patient and I appreciated how she handled the situation. I do wish that there had been someone to help her though.

Ivan did an exceptional job and honored a miscommunication delivered to me by another employee. Ivan was disappointed that this miscommunication had been provided by one of his employees but was still very accommodating and went above and beyond my expectations. The employee who delivered the initial communication of services was also very kind and considerate after mentioning some of my personal frustration in passing. The employees were all fantastic, the property and equipment were clean and well maintained and the over all administration was very thorough and efficient. Ivan should be complemented and given some vacation- the man was easily handling multiple jobs (...and clearly picking up some slack). I would definitely recommend to a friend-Thank you!

You need another staff person, I mean WTF, 1 hour wait at pickup...seriously. Will no Use UHaul again at that price for crappy service! If I was refunded my rental I might use you again, like I have the last 5 times, but this was insane! Pocatello 0/5, Caldwell, seemless and easy 5/5.
