it took this long to respond because i needed the time to get over furious!! when you are suppose to open @ 9am....people count on & plan around that, NOT 9:35!!!! when i rented this truck certain things were agreed upon, if not followed acuratly there are fees & charges! i truely feel i deserve some sort of financial compensation because the 85 year old mama i was moving ti NY did NOT understand!!! very disapointed!!! the only redeeming feature was the "older" gentelman ~ VERY polite & very helpful!! also~whoever was late could have at least said sorry~it goes a long way!!

****The roof of the Uhaul leaked!!!****
Moving on Friday June 14th and we weathered 5 different storms througout the process. During the storms we would close all the doors and wait it out. Then we get to the new house and start pulling everything out and find huge amounts of water had leaked throught the roof. My wife immediately calls uhaul and than proceeds to get passed around from Insurance person to insurance person. We called again Saturday andd yesterday and still have no resolution! Very displeased with the truck leaking and ruining some of our belongings!

We were stunned to find out that the trailer ordered was in another location over 10 miles away. Had to drive truck to that location to get trailer, then back to original location to install driver's motorcycle. Cost us time we didn't expect. Even though I had multiple conversations that morning and previous day, no one seemed to notice this so we could preplan.

The entire staff was excellent. Very helpful. My only complaint was the condition of the truck itself. I understand these trucks have hard miles on them but there steering was so loose I had trouble driving it and the transmission sounded like it wanted to give up. In the end it was such a short trip it didnt matter but I thought you should know.
Again though. The staff was on point.

You all need to have more staff at the front desk. I made my reservation for 9:30 a.m., but I didn't receive my truck until 11 a.m.. That's way too long of a wait!!! You all need to work on that.

Iv rented few times at this location with no issue and good customer service. This past time wasn't as good . I waited an hour and 45 minutes in line with only 2 employees on duty on a Sunday on the first of the month the workers did there best but with only 5 people ahead of me I shouldn't of had to wait so long

I reserved a motorcycle to move my bike.When i got there i was given a trailer,not a motorcycle trailer.Your reservation center did a poor job making sure your rental center had the trailer that i need that day.I made do with what i was given,but I wonder why I should bother reserving a motorcycle,if your not going to honor what was requested

The general manager was absolutely the worst person you could have to be in charge of a major corporation store. He was rude,dismissive,sarcastic and basically just wanted to go home regardless of customer service.The man's name is Eric Burns. He claimed to have called and given me a courtesy call at around 5:30-5:45 to return my truck without being charged for an extra day. I called him on it and showed him the call on my phone which was actually made at 6:23pm about ten minutes before I returned the truck after fueling up across the street. The gentleman I dealt with the day before was much more polite to deal with and let me know what time they would be closing to return the truck. Closing time was 7pm, so how Burns could say he was giving me a chance to get the truck in any sooner by calling me at 6:23 is ridiculous. An additional charge of 29.95 for a full extra day charge is a terrible way to do business. To add insult to injury, to tack on another full day insurance charge is even more criminal. This matter requires serious attention and this man has obviously been given too much responsibility. To push a customer who has rented a truck from this location in the past under a different manager out the door as quickly as possible rather than properly conduct yourself in a professional manner is certainly not good business. His ultimate genius response to rush things along was "The price is what it is, anything else?" I hope this issue will receive immediate attention. Thank you

Location did not have the item I requested when I made the reservation. I was not told this until after I paid for the item. To date I have still not received my refund and I am very unhappy about it. My order # was 98602744?.

Don't charge such a high deposit, or give a cash refund when the customer returns. U-Haul knows it can take a few days for banks to refund customers' deposits, but apparently doesn't care.
