I complained about how dirty the bed of the truck was. Shame on me for not looking at it myself before we got to the house to load up furniture. The person checking me in made no apology or offer to reduce price or anything. It was almost like he thought "tough crap we don't take care of these, we just re-rent them". Oh well. I won't be back.

It was too far from my location otherwise, okay. The office person had trouble with the printer jamming. Other customer gave suggestion as to how to fix it. I recommend training all employees how to fix machines.

The guy who helped us wasn't very polite. When I signed for the truck, I was told it had 3/4 of a tank of gas. I asked why it wasn't full, the guy said "Cause we don't want to spend all our time at the gas station, that's why!" When we went out to do the physical inspection, I noted that there was less gas than was stated on the first form I signed. When I pointed it out, he leaned into the truck and told me there was 3/4 of a tank. I proceeded to ask him to place himself in the driver's seat, so he did and said "Well it's close enough!" But I had to return it with 3/4 of a tank because that is what I "signed it out with". It was a full bar below and at $3 a gallon, it added up. Also because it wasn't full and wasn't at 3/4 full when I took it, I had to guess at how much gas to put in using the little chart they gave me. I guessed wrong and ended up a full bar above 3/4 of a tank. I jokingly /serious asked for a couple dollar discount, due to the fact that I put more gas than was needed, the guy said "We don't due that!". All of this along with the fact that the bed of the truck had debris, rocks and dirt left me feeling like "All they want is to get your money because that is all they care about". I think I would rather drive out of my way to rent from someone else!

I scheduled my uhaul 2 weeks in advance when I hired my movers. Less than 48 hours before my move I received a text changing my scheduled time was 5 hours later than the time I had selected. That's is horrible to throw at someone that short of notice of a scheduled move. Everyone who was picking their truck up the same morning as I was had the same issue. You guys need to get your act together since customers trust your company with a very important part of their SCHEDULED move!!

I've rented from this location twice in the last month. The first had EXCELLENT customer service, but the 26' truck was loud, brakes squeaked, horrible mileage, and over all, very old. I have NEVER gotten such a poor piece of equipment from U-Haul and I'm 57 - used you guys for every move I've ever had. I only went back to this location yesterday because of the previous customer service experience - plus, I was getting a 15' truck this time and I didn't believe anything could possibly be as bad as the last truck. The truck was fine, but the service was awful. I will NEVER use you guys again, and never mind not recommending this site, I won't ever recommend U-Haul again. First of all, I reserved it at 142nd, the same locale I used before. The guy tried to tell me I reserved it at a different spot. Not true. I knew there was one farther down from my home and I SPECIFICALLY WANTED THE SAME CUSTOMER SERVICE so I went to the same site. I was going to just cancel the order, and at the last minute, surprise, he happened to have the truck I needed available. I had to do the paperwork all over again - even though I did everything, including express check in, the day before on the computer. Plus, I was still in the computer from July 7th. He rang the total, and even though it was a smaller truck, the walk-out-the-door total was MORE than the entire rent the big truck three weeks ago. I had rented the hand truck and gotten the extra insurance on the earlier rental, so that didn't account for the price difference. I rented a 15' truck this time to move some 12' pieces. They didn't fit. AFTER I had the truck, we realized that 15' isn't the bed, it must be the entire truck from fender to bumper - so I couldn't even move what I had planned to. Including the extra gas to return both rentals, I have spent more than $300 on U-Haul in approximately 2 1/2 weeks. For that money I got one very poor quality truck and one definitely less than stellar customer service experience. Never again, and I will absolutely convey that to my friends, my family, and my readers. Your customers deserve better than this. People work hard for their money - the least your company can do is appreciate their business.

I don't appreciate being scammed by a national chain like U-Haul. The rep put down my return time as 7pm which was the time they close the day of the rental, in fact it was 3 hours after I rented it. I did not agree to any such thing. I would never agree to such a thing unless a discount for the short rental time was offered. Everyone insisted the time was correct and that I was late because I didn't have it back when they opened in the morning. I rented the equipment for 24 hours, if they could not rent it for 24 hours they should have not rented it to me. they had 2 other relatively new units sitting in the lot when I rented this one and there was a third there when I returned it. Sounds like a load of BS to me. NEVER AGAIN. Ryder now has all of my business.

I am being charged for a appliance dolly that I did not get. I had asked for one then my friends said that they had one, so I told the customer service rep that I did not need one after all. He said he took it off but I see that I am still being charged for one., Please adjust my bill accordingly so that $ 10.00 comes off my bill., Thank you, Sheri Haney

very friendly personnel; however, I inadvertently left a set of yellow adjustable straps and did not get a call back from the store that they found it there.. obviously, a clear sign of not checking for anything left behind by previous renter prior to closing the vehicle rent contract.
