The quality of the customer experience at the Quincy Ave location is high. Willie checked us into an immaculate 15' truck, making sure all rental considerations and requirements were discussed. I was exhausted when returning the truck, and forgot bearded man's name, but he was sympathetic and thorough and I just can't say how different this was from the Somerville u-haul.

This guy should understand that when a customer is late to return the equipment a $50 fee applies. There is no need to call 100 times asking to be on time or take a note and call police for being couple hours late. I will never be back again

Wasn't aware the furniture pads were rented (as opposed to being sold). Didn't realize this until our movers mentioned it, and told us that we should fold them before returning them. No one at the store mentioned this, though they did mention that the truck should be swept out. Otherwise, no issues. Staff was super nice, especially manager. Quick, prompt check in and lightning fast drop off. Would recommend this location.

Need to have customer service skills they need to be more friendly to the customers they seem like to have attitudes my suggestion is that the employees get retrained my suggestion is that the employees get retrained I definitely will not do business there again I definitely recommend U-Haul Weymouth on Bridge Street I had a very good experience with them and I highly recommend them

- On 7/1/2015 we made a reservation to pick up two u-boxes on Tuesday 7/7/2015. - Today, Tyler went to pick up the truck and was told this morning that had to go to 2 different locations to pick up the U-Boxes – Weymouth, MA and Brockton, MA. Nobody from U-Haul contacted him about this prior to this morning. When I called to report the situation, the call center indicated that 2 U-Boxes were available in Weymouth however when transferred to the regional office, Nicole informed me that she does not know why it appears that Weymouth has two available U-Boxes because they haven’t had two available in months! One of them is apparently damaged. - Tyler drove to the Brockton location (farthest from the house) and upon his arrival he was advised he could not get on the highway and needs to drive back home using back roads. Again, something else not previously informed. - We hired movers to help us load the U-Boxes and we contacted them immediately to let them know what was going on and they told us they would not be able to wait for Tyler to drop off one U-Box and pick-up the 2nd one. Tyler asked me to call the Weymouth location to see if they can have the U-Box ready for him in about an hour hoping to make good use of the time we had with the movers. I called the Weymouth location and said: “This is Arlene calling on behalf of Tyler and he wanted me to let you know that he will be there in an hour and if the U-Box can be ready.” The person that answered the phone became incredibly defensive and told me: “Tyler would need to complete another contract and that would take 30 minutes and …don’t tell me how to do my job!” I responded with “Are you kidding, this is how you provide service? I really just called to give you a heads up that Tyler would be there in an hour”…he interrupted me and told me that he doesn’t need anyone to tell him how to do his job and that the U-Box would be ready. I don’t understand what is so wrong in calling ahead of time or why he responded the way he did. I find that to be poor service and disrespectful! Throughout this whole experience, I spoke with the call center, and regional office. Nicole at the regional office was very understanding however it is important that the company is made aware of this situation because this should never happen to a customer. I am sure that your operating model and procedures are not to tell a customer they have to go to two different locations! At minimum, why couldn’t the Brockton location drive out to Weymouth with the u-Box as a service to the CUSTOMER!!!! We have moved over 5 times in two years and for the first time Tyler chose to use U-HAUL….we are both very disappointed.

Reservation system was a nightmare. Made planning logistics ahead of time impossible. Due to that, I'll try in future never to use UHaul again. That said, the location was quick and efficient and a much happier experience.

My first drop off spot was KBR Inc in Quincy and they sent me away very rudely and told me to go drop the truck off at the Uhaul down the street, who were not expecting a 15 foot truck on their small lot. When I got there the general manager was BEYOND accommodating and friendly. He took the truck even though he wasn't prepared for it, and in the process took an enormous load of stress and annoyance off of my shoulders. Him and his associate who also works there checked me out quickly and efficiently and we shared some jokes and pleasantries. KBR Inc. should not be a U haul drop off spot as their rudeness and unprofessional attitude do not represent the quality of business I experienced at both Uhaul spots.

My recent and last.experience with uhaul in Quincy Ave in Quincy have been excellent. I have always gotten a Professional and Customer Friendly service, clean vehicle and equipment, accurate mileage and gas readings upon receiving the vehicles and very fair. Prices. A Rep by the Name of Will assisted Me and He was very professional, Customer Friendly, knowledgeable of all products and services, accommodating and patient while assisting Me! Thank You!

I had no problems specifically with this location--pick up and drop off went smoothly. However U-Haul called me 2 days before my move to tell me there was not a truck available, even after my reservation had been confirmed. I talked to a very non-apologetic, unhelpful woman on the phone who did nothing to try and find me a truck. In fact, she was arguing with me and making everything worse. Literally the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I hung up on her and called back to talk to a different representative. That woman told me everything was all set with my reservation, so I am completely dumbfounded on what that first woman was even looking at or telling me.

Everyone we speak to has had the same experiences with Uhaul, but I still feel I should write a review so that hopefully these issues can be addressed. - When making the reservation you're told it's not actually a reservation and that you'll be contacted 24 hours in advance about the actual truck you'll get and if it's available - this needs to be changed to a solid reservation you can depend on. - 24 hours before our rental I was contacted and told I could only keep the truck for 24 hours (Even though I had originally requested 48) we were then told different things by the pick up center, the main number etc. (Ie: the truck needs to be back in 24 hours no matter what, then "the truck can be kept for 48 hours if you pay $40") This led to extreme confusion and delay with our move. Information, pricing, reservations all need to be consistent and come from one source. Every person we spoke to claimed we would need to speak to someone else (even the main uhaul number said they weren't able to change/view reservations?) We will be using a more reliable service in the future.

Customer service was poor and workers appeared incompetent and negligent of the stressors involved in the moving process, carrying on irrelevant small talk w/ another customer in line ahead of us. On top of this, my card has been billed for services with the amount of $69 from which I delivered my card information over the phone when booking the van, and then when we arrived at the Quincy Ave location, they claimed to not have my billing information and proceeded to take my partner's card and he has been charged for the service now too. We have been double charged for one service and demand a refund back. Please contact me immediately to resolve this inconvenience on top of the less than adequate in store service we received at Quincy Ave, Quincy, MA on Sunday, June 28, 2015. After requesting an extra day with the truck AND being told the extra day was OK, we received a VERY RUDE phone call DEMANDING we have the truck back asap or we would be charged an extra day PLUS and extra $50 for delivering the truck late. After explaining that we had been told it was ok to keep the truck an extra day, haul acknowledged that we had been given the ok to keep the truck but that it had been a mistake, and instead of being accommodating us for THEIR mistake, they were incredibly unreasonable, still demanded the truck back because "someone was waiting for the truck and it was the only one they had" my fiancé RUSHED to unload the truck to return it asap just to find THREE of the exact SAME SIZE trucks parked in the lot unreserved, AND we were charged an extra day for UHAULS MISTAKE. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL, AND INAPPROPRIATE. I will be telling EVERYONE about our TERRIBLE experience with UHAUL and recommend that NO ONE EVER uses this moving service again. COMPLETELY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER

This was the third time I've gone to this location and I've always been impressed with how helpful and professional all of the employees are. Definitely the best UHaul location I've encountered.
