The truck was not in good condition and took about 5 minutes to start. When we called we were told to call the roadside assistance #. Then when we were returning the truck we had to wait about 30 mins bc only one person was working behind the counter on a Saturday.

Had issue with being charged fir gas. My statement said I did not return the right amount of gas and I called the 800 number. They were correct saying I used 13 miles but they said I returned it at the incorrect gas fill up line. Which I didn't and said it costed them 53 bucks to fill it back up. Not upset about people making mistakes because it happens but the operator not having enough knowledge about saying "yes sir it took them 53 dollars to fill it up to where it was suppose to be. Wow 53 dollars only gets you 13 miles? The manager called me and apologized which was good and he called within 30 mins. Just I never had any issues with using u haul before. I probably used it around 30 times within last year. Very bad service from operator...

Have a U Haul rep walk around the vehicle with me and conduct the initial inspection to ensure all prior dents/damages are already noted with an X sticker. U Haul rep should explain basic operation of the truck. Truck was OK clean.

Upon returning the truck, I left it in the "equipment return" land and placed the key in the night drop box. I then received a call two days after I dropped off the rentals informing me that they did not have the truck. I ensured them I left it in the designated area and followed the proper protocol. The calls came from 4 or 5 different people over the next week or so and I explained the situation to each of them. They each told me that they would "take care of the situation" but none of the people I talked to knew anything about what had happened. I suggested maybe they should call the pick-up location to see if an error had been made. Finally, I received a "late equipment" email and that they had been unable to contact me. I called the corporate office and they lady I spoke to was able to clear the whole thing up with one phone call and about 5 minutes of work.
