Stop scamming and lying to your customers. I was double billed and over charged. The "manager" at the uhaul location was rude and completely useless in resolving his own error ..oh until I called corporate. I will never ever use uhaul again and make sure all my friends and family know to NEVER use uhaul either. SCAMS SCAMS SCAMS

Cargo Van should have (or offer) load stabilizers to fit between the side boards. These would be handy for someone with less than a full load.

Truck smelled of smoke. Rained the night before, windows and back of truck were left open and seats and back of truck were wet. Bottom of my boxes were then wet. Only used truck for three hours and 26 miles!! They made me return truck with 24 dollars in gas. ALWAYS go back in and demand they review the gas gauge!! They ALWAYS say that the truck has more gas then it does. This is a trick they use to get you to put more gas in the tank. I will NEVER use This UHAUL again!!!

I waited in line to pick my van up for 45 minutes. I didn't receive it until 1030 when I choose 10 am as my pick up time. They need more help knowing it was the last Sunday of the month. This is the first I used uhaul in a few years and I probably won't use you again.

The truck has a sealant leak in the upper right storage section above the cab. Approximately 10 boxes of my collectible items had water damage, due to the heavy downpour on Saturday 3/29. Due to time constraints with moving the items into storage, I didn't have adequate Time to examine the contents.

Truck was not clean at all when I received it. Windows were dirty, ashtray was full, dirt all over, the cab and the box as well. Paper trash ( coupon clippings) were behind the passenger side seat. The staff was friendly, did their job well.

While Pedro was a huge help, he was single handedly running the entire operation, as such, I was there for nearly an hour. You need to get him some help!

Upon arriving to this location there were many people inside the store, with only one employee. The customers inside the store were using excessive amounts of profanity while speaking amongst themselves and with employees. When I was finally waited on the employee took my information and finalized the transaction. We went outside to hook up the car trailer and there was a problem with the lights, so while I worked on fixing the trailer connector, the employee twisted the safety chains and put the trailer on the ball. I got done with the lights the same time as he had the trailer hooked up and he said you're good to go. Now here's where things get good.. I left the facility for my 1530 mile round trip from Pennsylvania to Illinois. While driving out the PA Turnpike at around 12am I noticed a few tractor trailers would flash their lights at me after I passed them. I looked in my mirrors and saw the trailer lights were on, so I thought nothing about it. Upon arriving in Illinois at around 9am, and 750 miles later I began to load the car I was picking up. While I was winching the car up on the trailer my brother-in-law stopped me and said "Hey, look at the trailer!". I looked at the front of the trailer and noticed it was not attached to the ball what so ever. Upon further inspection I noticed that the screw that holds the trailer to the ball was barely tight. It also occured to me that the whole time the trucks were flashing me they most have noticed the trailer floating up off the hitch while going down the highway. I find it absolutely amazing that nothing serious happened in the 750 miles I traveled with the trailer completely loose. I tightened the trailer down and made my trip home without any problems. Upon returning to U-haul the following day to return the trailer I discussed with the employee who helped me unhook the trailer the situation I had and that they needed to make sure the trailers were secure before letting customers leave. His response was "ok" with total lack of concern for the situation. I would really appreciate if someone from management would give me a call so I can discuss this so it doesn't happen to anyone else. This could have been a very dangerous and costly situation. Thanks for reading, Jon Knight
