The owner and/or manager was doing an impressive job both training a new employee and waiting on customers. Customer service was obviously a priority. Nice job.

Its such a shame to end my experience with these folks in Reno...absolutly the opposite of Las Vegas.
The kid out front was rude and errogant. 1st he told me to get back in the truck, I said no, I'm done with my trip.....he tells me I must help him with the turn signals and read him the gas gauge and odometer. He didnt even check if I told him the truth...what a joke. I could have made up the milage and gas. This information was tranferred to my receipt and probably will transfer to the next rental. Thats just wrong!
Oh, I forgot, the kid finds a popcorn bag behind the seat.....he says "is this yours" and I said yes, he hands it back to me and tells me the trashcan is around the corner, put it in there where it belongs!
Now while i'm waiting to get my hard copy of the receipt, I asked if they have and place for comments, she says no, I dont think so.
I wasnt going to complain about Reno, just complement the Las Vegas team, but since you sent me this survey...here you go.
Also, never did Reno ask how the trip went, did the truck operate properly......or even a thank you for renting.
I have rented from Reno in the past, looks like they have a new management team...sorry to say this but they really suck!
The more I write the more worked up i'm getting.
Thanks Vegas.
PS, I hate Las Vegas as a city, becasue I live in Reno, so its hard to say thanks Vegas.

Two OUTSTANDING employees made my experience a very good one. Honoree and Joseph were the best people to deal with. They understood my problem and went to work on it right away. I needed to keep a loaded truck for a few extra days until my house deal closed. They were able to give my a price within my costs not to break the bank. They were very understanding and I will recommend this uhaul facility to all my friends when they need to rent equipment. Thank-you, Dave Bias

When I had reserved my truck, it was at the Oddie Blvd/Silverada location, which was less than a mile from where I was living. The morning of my reservation, I get a call saying that my truck is ready for pickup... at the South Meadowood location, which is nearly 8 miles away.
When I got there, I told this to the girl working the cash register, and the manager. I also told them that I should be waived either the mileage fee or the truck rental fee because at the last minute, I had to go more than 7 miles out of my way to pick up my truck, and was told that no fees could be waived.
I feel like the location of my truck was changed intentionally just to charge me extra. I will NEVER again use UHaul. Hello Penske!

They set the standard the S Virginia U Haul of South Meadows is how all U haul centers should look, operate and conduct themselves with customers, the GM personally came out and introduced himself and listen to my trip. Very helpfull crew and great location. Plase post this review.

Serpentine belt made a high pitched noise from the time I picked it up,and when I arrived to pick up truck that I had reserved she tried tell me that I had made the reservation for a 20ft truck i said i had reserved a 26ft truck and she said they did not have any available and said it was my fault, thankfully I had my email confirmation, so then they bring up a truck that was obviously a truck that shouldn't have been on the road,I had no choice but to take the truck because I had movers set up through uhaul to move me. The movers were great but as for the store I was at it sucked. I also stood in line for 45min with only 2 people in front of me.
not happy with uhaul at this time.

It was pretty busy everyone decided to move at the same time & the staff was awesome! The other customers were complaining because they had 0 patience, but the staff stayed professional, happy & moved along as fast as they could! The girl that helped me was new & I cant remember her name (Amy, Emily?) but she was awesome!
