There were several system issues affecting one of the customers in line before me. This ended up meaning long delays for everyone as there was primarily only one person working with the customers. There was also access concerns and when I arrived to drop off the equipment, no one came and helped me get oriented.

The Uhaul worker who helped honestly came across as very unknowing of what was scheduled to happen and seemed like he was high or on drugs. His behavior was very odd and he was not very professional.

Staff was good, but long line, must have wasted 45minutes. Rented a car trailer and one of the straps was broken on trailer that locks down the wheel on the car you are towing.

This was the smoothest and easiest move I've had. The staff, even while getting slammed with customers were still attentive in letting us know they saw us, and would be with us shortly. Great customer service is getting harder to come by nowadays. Thank you!

My only concern is not getting my credit for miles right away. I am still waiting for it into my bank. Not happy with that. I don't believe you should charge people until the final bill.

Up until noon on Saturday the 26th my experience was very favorable. I made my reservation online and then within a couple of minutes someone called me online to help me add a utility trailer to my rental. The person on the phone Friday asked me how long I needed the truck and trailer. I said I needed it for 24 hours till Sunday Morning. All was well. On Saturday I again was asked by the agent who spoke Arabic and English with an accent how long I needed the truck and trailer for and again I said 24 hours till Sunday Morning. Very pleasant check out and the man who helped me get into my truck showed me where I could drop off my key since I would return the truck before they opened on Sunday. Later that day I started getting calls from the UHaul location asking me why I hadn't returned the truck. I was busy with my large construction project and didn't get the message until around 2 pm. At that time I called back and spoke with a woman who was not pleasant at all on the phone and made me feel like I was stealing the truck versus renting it for a day. I told her that I was renting the truck for 1 full day and would have it back on Sunday Morning. I guess it got double booked by mistake and someone had put in the computer that I would only have the truck for 4 hours but why did I verbally confirm on two separate conversations that I needed the truck for 24 hours or I would not rent at all since my project required a truck for a 24 hour period. This follows up a very bad experience I had at the same location a number of months ago where I was charged for a second day by mistake and it took a call to the regional manager to get it fixed.

Only one person was working. We had to wait over one hour until we received our trailer. Filling out the express check-in was a waste of time. U-Haul changed locations of where I was supposed to pick up the trailer and notified me by e-mail that I could not access because I was traveling.

1) The one employee that was there when I arrived was very good. She clearly competent to do anything required there and she was helpful, polite and efficient too. There needed to be at least one more employee there at the time though. She was pulled in many directions at once. She paused what she was working on to help me and by the time she was done helping me, so many other customers had come that it would take at least an hour to get to them all (her polite comment to a waiting customer). 2) One of the things that required extra time of the one employee was that the trailer I'd rented had not been swept out yet. It had yard debris in it which she noticed immediately, so she had to get a broom and sweep it out which she did without delay.

The right side mirror was broken, it just spun around while you drove, didn't notice until I got on the freeway. It was a very unsafe vehicle, still have not received a call back about the damage and the unsafe condition I had to put my kid and myself in.

Lines are always long even when we have done the express checkout. There has to be a better system. I suggest you have a line for those who have done all of the work online. Both terminals were being used to take the names and basic reservations while those in the express had to wait. I showed up 15 minutes early and had to wait in line 42 minutes. That is poor customer service. You also need an updated computer program, The one you use in the store is not functioning well. Time for U-haul to enter the 21st Century.

I reserved a truck to move from Renton to Bellingham. The gas tank was only at 25%. This meant I had to fill up the tank before my move instead of after and I had no option but to estimate my mileage and waste money so as to not have to fill up the tank a second time. If they charge the previous user $4.25 per gallon for not fueling up prior to returning equipment, they should use that money to fill up the tank so the next customer is not inconvenienced. Instead, this place pocketed that money and passed he inconvenience to me, the next customer. Additionally, aside from the equipment I reserved, the truck had a dirty diaper in the bed. Obviously someone is not doing their job correctly. This is the only time I had a less than great experience with UHaul.

The trailer was a good one and generally worked out well. The door on the back, however, was a very significant hassle to latch! Most times we had two people (four strong, dextrous hands) involved in getting it latched! That isn't what I expect from U-Haul.

I made my reservation about 1 month in advance of renting the trailer. When I came to pick up the trailer, the door latch was broken and required me to purchase zip ties, the right hand brake and blinker light was out. This was the only trailer available so I had to take it in the condition it was in and risk being stopped by State Patrol. I would expect a rental place to test and ensure their equipment is working prior to the customer coming to rent.

Uhaul needs to provide a rewards/loyalty program, build partnerships with someone like triple A to extend offers to members for example, and ultimately give discounts or credit back when rentals are for multiple days use. With the exception of the young man who checked in my trailer at return this is a great location with a solid team who always makes the process smooth (the gentleman who checked me in was rude and discourteous but otherwise the process was super smooth)

Are you kidding me! $96.00 for a one way 60 mile trip. Then I find it is only $38 for a round trip. I promise that I will spend the money to buy my own tow dolly for future towing.
