This is as sleazy as a car purchase. $19.99 WHAT A JOKE $92.00 for 2 hours is ridiculous but more is your method of small print. I will post my experience to yelp, face book, and better business bureau.

My reservation, among literally 15 others was at 10am. It was a Sunday and there were only two people working. After waiting in line 45 min, the first 6×12 trailer had loose tail light wiring which became ripped apart from closing the door on the trailer. After that was repaired by the employee, I was unable to close the trailer door due to a broken guide cable. As I unhooked from that trailer, I waited around while other customers who arrived well after me were being helped until finally getting a replacement trailer. The whole process from start to finish took exactly two hours and left me short on time. The employees were very nice but the overall visit did not go as expected. I would think you could be in and out with the rental within 30 minutes but maybe that's just absurd? Anyway, that was my experience with the Renton Highland location.

LIne was 45 minutes long at opening - not enough staff - truck was broken (ramp wouldnt pull out) - tank was practically empty when got the truck - tweeted a complaint to @Uhaul and @Uhaul-Cares

When I arrived, there was an hour long line. Everybody appeared to have reservations. There was only 1 person to assist. Eventually around 9:45 another worker showed up to assist. Moving is stressful enough. Priority for customers should be their time, then their cost, and other attributes. Moving requires planning, especially with friends/workers to help carry and load/unload. When you lose an hour waiting in line, after already losing an hour due to Uhaul's reservation system sucking causing you to drive 30 extra minutes each way to pick up the truck, you Failed this expectation!! I don't blame the staff at the location, they were friendly and overall excellent, I blame coorporate and the location management for failing to understand the reservation work load.

I would be more organized. I actually went to two other UHAUL stores before finding my vehicle. The first one didn't have of my vehicle and the second store that I reserved on line for didn't have a vehicle in stock. I didn't think that was good customer service and professional stating that it was avaialble on line and upon arriving it wasn't there. Good thing the third store had it.

Awesome experience. Truthfully, I haven't always had a great experience with most U-Haul locations. The truck had almost 200k miles, yet was absolutely spotless inside. The girl that rang me up in the morning was really friendly and even warned me about how the gas gauge worked so I could refill correctly. The gentleman who checked in the truck was really nice and even said "You've had a long day, I'll get you out of here quick." Had you not sent me this, I was actually planning to fill out a compliment card on your website anyway.

***** Your slogan is " The Comfort Of U-Haul.******** I made reservations on line for the trip I was quoted one price and then went to the store and was given another cost. When sitting with the sales person I wanted to complete ,the contract and tried to explain what exactly what I needed for the trip and they were so impatient they told me to come back the day that I pick up the truck and dolly. I tried to explain that I was not going straight to Blythe that I had two other places that I needed to drop off some boxes and still they told me to come back. I went away. when I came back to do the contract they still did not have the time to listen to what I needed and told me that the only mileage they could give me is the 200 and that the 5 days rental is all the package that I could buy. Well I told them that I would be the only one loading the truck and I explained what I needed again and the 200 miles and 5 day rental would not be enough and they said that is all that they could do Now mind you I was not asking for anything FREE I needed a trip with a plan that would work and a package deal. but that did not happen, When I was doing a walk around check on the truck for any damage I told the sales person that the truck was not clean and she laughed and said I know. Your policy is that If customers bring back the truck clean and the blankets folded other wise we will be charged extra for the cleaning yet you don't have it cleaned for the customer when they pick it up. During the trip the transmission over drive would kick in anytime it wanted and would whine out when it did. therefore burning more GAS that I had to pay for. Not to mention that the engine cover " AKA" Dog house Engine cowl" Was so hot around the bottom that it literally burnt my foot and my passage that we have a blister burn on my right and her left foot. I called the store again several times and explained this and all they would say is " I am sorry" although they did give me a extra day to make my trip yet told me that I still would have to pay extra for the mileage. Now remember I tried to get a package that would accommodate the needs for the trip. I ,was offered a free month storage at U-haul locations yet they failed to tell me that that the only location is in Yuma AZ again the mileage I would have to pay for and if all this would have been explained to me in the beginning I could have made other arrangement for the storage before hand so that I would not have the increased stress of the move, your website also has a question nloading at your location I enterd YES yet they again failed to explaine to me that you don't offer the help that it is just ADVERTISEMENT, Well this again caused more stress since the only help that I could find at the last minute would have cost me 40 hour fuel cost of 114.00 it is a 3 hour drive to get to my location and 50.00 anything after the first hours and I would have to pay from the time that they left the building When dropp

I checked the gas gage and it said full . I drove your truck a 1.4 miles I showed up back to return the truck and they tried to charge me a absurb amount to fill it up mind you I only drive under 2 miles. to be exact 1.4 miles. So I took it to the gas station and ended paying $20 worth of gas for that mere 1.4 miles. I called to complain and was promised a call back from your MANAGEMENT team yesterday or today at the latest and surprise surprise I have hear nothing from you . I WAS RIPPED OFF BY YOU GUYS. YOU STOLE MY MONEY. Why would I ever recommend a company the steals from its customers then the management is so cowardly they refuse to call to discuss it with you .

Absolutely worst customer service from a staff of my entire career. Brandy at the Seattle regional office has all of the notes on the list of things that went wrong and staff who were offensive. I was hung up on by two associates including the manager, I was promised a call from the manager before my contact was paid which didn't happen, and the staff failed to provide us the 2nd key necessary for the truck door resulting in our being locked out of the truck for over an hour until we broke in ourselves.

Requested rental supplies were not in the truck--we did not realize this until at our destination. When I called to see if I could pick up the supplies closer to where we were, the person at UHaul spent more time telling me why she couldn't do anything than trying to help find a solution. Customer service attitude was lacking.
