I recommend you expand this facility. The workers are polite and provide great service, however you need more than three registers as this location is always busy.

The guy who was at the counter was very professional. I didn't reserve a trailer, just walked in at 10:40 and needed one to haul a large frig that I'd just purchased. He said it was reserved for 11:00. I asked him if he could call the customer to make sure he still wanted it. He called and the customer said, "sorry I forgot to call, but I don't need it any more." So I had the trailer connected within 10 minutes and I was on my way. Most agents wouldn't have called. But one thing I saw another employee do was irksome. I saw him and a customer closing a conversation, and he was so wrapped up with his phone that he didn't even look at her as she was leaving. He said bye while he was looking at his phone. Pretty pathetic.

The clerk that helped me obtain the vehicle and return the vehicle was very courteous. She made my experience feel very welcomed. When I returned the vehicle, she remembered me from two days prior and seemed very personal. I highly recommend this U-haul location and will utilize it the next time I need to move.

The drop off location is not the one listed above, and the phone number goes to a FAX line. The U-Haul drop off is a couple of blocks away. The actual location had very nice people who helped us, but having the wrong address when driving a truck with a trailer created some stress and difficulty. Please update your location information.

You definitely need to improve on the type of employee that you trust to run your business. Katrina was BEYOND rude, seemed like she didn't care about anyone or anything. She was visibly txtn and cursing. I SERIOUSLY don't know why she is still there. People like that are just an asset to loosing business and getting complaints such as these. I was impacted to the point where I would like to reach the general manager to discuss this problem. If this behavior is tolerated and honored by the manger who I believe you guys have surveillance cameras you will see exactly what I'm talking about. I will never recommend this UHAUL location to ANYONE! EVER!!

Answer phones at the location instead of transferring to the call center. Inform all Uhaul locations & people in Call Center in the difference between a 6 by12 open Utility trailer & a 6 by 12 open Utility trailer with RAMP! YOU CANNOT GET 6 FOOT WIDE ITEM ON A RAMP TRAILER! IT IS ABOUT TEN INCHES SHORTER IN WIDTH. I had to inform a local N'hood idiot of the difference sat morning. Thanks

I have no idea...everyone and everything has gone well for us with Uhaul. We could not be more pleased with every aspect of our rental experience. (And we should know: this truck was our sixth or seventh rental in the past 4 months!)

the staff, and vehicle were not a problem. The problem came with trying to get a truck in the first place and trying to do the paperwork at the location. At the location i tried to fill out the paperwork and the touch pad at two stations were not working and the staff member had to enter everything in manually. The problem with my reservation: Originally i made a reservation online for a 17 foot truck and was told that there was not one available due to your company continuing to take reservations for trucks you do not have. once i was able to reschedule my rental for a different day and having to settle for a different size truck, a smaller truck, i go to pick it up and as i get there i was informed it was given away to another customer. i then had to wait until 2pm to get another truck 5 miles away from my original pick up location which was conveniently located 2 blocks from my storage unit. I will not recommend Uhaul to anyone.

When we arrived at our destination with the truck we opened the back to find it littered with food scraps and smelling of rotten garbage. Clearly no one had checked and cleaned the truck before renting it to us. Since we were moving our house it made the experience even worse. The smell clung to our property, and some liquid that was on the floor of the truck absorbed into our sofa and clothing boxes. We would have returned the truck immediately, but we were moving out of downtown San Francisco, and had only a limited amount of time to move while double parked on the busy streets. The manager at the Richmond U-haul store was sympathetic, but only provided a partial refund. Now we will have to pay out of pocket for several cleaning expenses to have the odor and stains removed from our property. We will send the invoices and file an official claim when the cleaning is complete.

We expected a cargo van but we were given a truck instead. Given that we were in a hurry and the lines were very long, we went with the truck. When we went to turn the truck in, first we were told we could only turn it in on Treasure Island (a long drive from San Francisco) when there are several options in downtown San Francisco, and then when we arrived at the San Francisco location, we were told that the truck we had rented was not the one we were turning in. The person in the SF office was great and spent about an hour with us to try and resolve the problem (she finally did). We then got a call Sunday telling us that if we did not turn the truck in in the next 10 minutes, we would get charged for another day. Monday, I got another call that we did not leave the key, which was left in the ignition. The threat was to fine us for the cost of another key. I will not pay that if it shows up on my credit card. Not a well run operation! Too bad because my experience in LA and at your Sunnyvale location has been really good.

If making a registration in person, agent should repeat what they actually placed in the system. When I called the day before to confirm, I learned the wrong item was in the system but Jorge the mgr. Made sure I was well taken care of.

It's just too expensive to rent a truck or van just to move sofas. I paid $50 for the van, plus $10 for insurance, plus another $10 for gas. I won't do it again.
