I was told that I would be able to have a free storage rental to put my furniture in by the gentleman that took my original contract once I have the truck loaded and want to go and to put my furniture in the storage I was told because I was not using a one way that I would have to pay $59 for a months worth of storage which I only needed one night I was very upset because we had loaded the truck I feel this is extremely poor customer service

Thanks. Have typically had good experiences with this location except one reservation mix up years ago which is understandable, stuff happens and that mix up didn't impair the safety of our travel like the lights on the trailer did.

I miscalculated my fuel and left 12 gallons more than required, about $40. They would not reimburse me. If I came back 12 gallons short, you would find a way to charge me. This is just wrong.

Truck 30 miles from where I expected it to be. RIC staff called my NC #, not my RIC #, so I did not know about the change of location. This cost my driver and me hours of lost time. Extra miles on truck was not adjusted for. U-Haul = RIPOFF

The 3 people that helped me, Mary, Horice, and Marquis, should be cloned and sent to all the stores. They gave curtious and fast service. I have rented from other Uhaul stores and none have been as professionally run as this store. Thanks for the great service.

I rent trucks regularly from this location on Broad. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They bend over backwards to make sure I am a satisfied customer. You can't ask anymore of people than this - they go the extra mile, time and time again.

Need better customer service skills especially as it involves helping customers use equipment (specifically the tow dolly). I had to pick up my equipment at 2 separate locations which was very problematic for me. I have used UHaul for many years and have never encountered these issues. I am very disappointed.

I had first gone to another location to pick up a vehicle on the prior evening. Because I was not there within one hour of the scheduled pick up time, my reservation was cancelled. The lady employee there insisted I was told those requirements, which I was not. Funny, another customer was in the same situation. I left very dissatisfied and in a bind for the next day job. This location had a vehicle available in the morning. No mention was made of a one hour pick up requirement. I was there within the hour and satisfied with the service and grateful I could accomplish the job scheduled for the day. I have two suggestions. Change fuel requirements to a full tank. Let me have a vehicle with a full tank and return on with the same. Trying to full to a lesser mark was a pain in the neck. Secondly, a friendlier staff would make working with them much more pleasant.

The gentleman at the call center made mistakes on my reservation. People at the West Broad location was good about correcting that. Return experience was extremely efficient. People are pleasant.

Trying to rent out a tow dolly has been one of the most disappointing and aggravating customer service experiences. I was originally in need of the dolly on Sunday. I called this location and the U haul call center picked up the call. They scheduled the reservation for the Lombardy location and told me I could pickup between 4-6:45pm. I arrive at that location at 5 and the employees tell me that they are closed. I told them I had a reservation for it and that I was told I could pick it up before 6:45. They told me they were closed and there was nothing they could do about it. I call the call center again and they tell me that they dont know why anyone would make a reservation for me after store hours and they look up the next closest location with a tow dolly. They find one not too far away and tell me they are open till 10pm. I call that store and I get no replies, I assumed it was because they were closed. After all of this I was slightly frustrated from running around in circles. On the way home I had drive past the Broad ST location and notice that they are still open. I stop and walk inside. I read the sticker with the hours that on the door and see that they are supposed to be closed at 5 that day. I walk up to the counter and Im great by one of the employees. I ask why they were open later than what the sign says and he says they are open till 7. Then I tell him about my reservation I had for the Lombardy give him the number from the order in the email I received and he tell me that I am right, my reservation was set for that location and that the Lombardy location is supposed to be open till 7 as well. He trys giving them a call and gets no response. He suggest for me to go there and tell and to get everything straightened out. So I drive to the Lombardy store and everyone is still there. I get no help with my issue and I'm told by one of the lady that they will reopen at 7. I called the call center again to ask what exactly was going with everyone telling me something different. The lady on the other side of the phone basically told me that all of the locations where closed at 5 that day; even after I told her that I was just inside the one on broad st and that the employee told me that they closed at 7 that night. By this point I had lost hope for having anything worked out and move forth with my scheduled move. The next morning Im at the Lombardy location waiting at opening time. Then 10 min after they should have been open some guy comes down and tells me that they will not be able to help me till 8 am. Once again having to cancel my plans for the move and having to reschedule to the next day. The next day, I walk into the Lombardy Store and start to make a reservation. For starters the woman that was helping me tells me that she was not allowed to attach a dolly to my vehicle, saying that the vehicle does not meet requirements to tow. I have a 06 F350 super duty, which is more than capable to tow the car I was towing, 01 toy
