I would suggest having more than two people working on a Saturday/Sunday. The wait in line was very long and I wasn't impressed.

To crowded. Only 1 counter person had to wait and they charged me for being late. This is a rip off using this company. I turned in my vehicle with the amount of gas that I was suppose to. They claimed they had to put in 8 gallons of gas and this is untrue. The vehicle had 1/2 tank when I got it and I returned it with 1/2 and they claimed 1/4 tank. I recommend people take a picture of the time you check out the vehicle and the time you return. Also take picture of the fuel gauge and mileage on checking out and returning.!!!!!!

Waiting is excessive. There are never enough people working at this location. I've rented from this location many times and is consistently bad. Employees seem to be wearing many hats and try but they need three people working at all times on weekends!

I had to wait about 15 minutes for someone to come out of the back and help me at the counter. My pickup time was 6:00. Once the gentleman did come out of the back, he was very friendly, helpful, attentive and provided excellent customer service. I wish I could remember his name because he was great - young guy with a goatee. If not for the long wait, I would have rated this as an excellent experience.

Our trailer wasn't there at the time we reserved. Online there is a guarantee that's states uhaul will compensate us $50 if the equipment is not available at the reserved time. The guy didn't want to help. He just stated that he wasn't a manager and couldn't do anything and didn't give any helpful options.

Mileage block prior to additional fee was ridiculous. After driving to pick it up, to my old house, and then to va beach (nothing out of the way too terribly) - I had to pay for extra mileage. This is a racket!

Rental estimate was misrepresented, I was told by the service agent that the drop off rate at another location would be $48 and some chance instead of the approximately $98.00 they told me at when I picked it up. Needs to better training for counter reps.

It would be nice if they could get the city or county to allow a left hand turn on to Westmoreland traveling on West Broad. A left turn is allowed on to Westmoreland from East Broad.

The floor layout of the rental office could use a little bit of a remodel. While the attendants were very pleasant to deal with, it was almost hard to see them (behind the counter) due to all the placement of the product racks. I know that last minute impulse purchases are surly huge margin items and key to the locations success. Nonetheless, customers would be better served being able to easily see the counter and the friendly customer service representatives.

I found my overall experience with U-haul in the weeks preceding as well as during my move to be incredibly more frustrating and difficult than I had bargained for. U-haul needs to make it much clearer on their website the process for hiring moving helpers. It makes it seem like everything is all taken care of (in your shopping cart), when really you have to go back and arrange the details yourself. I spent hours on the phone with several different representatives due this ill-clarified issue. Also, U-haul did not notify me of my pick-up time until the morning before my move (though I was told I would receive a call 48 hours before my move), which was much too late, as I had already hired movers. Furthermore, the site they assigned me was NOT the site I my online reservation had confirmed. I luckily was able to change the location and time, but only after spending yet more additional time and energy on the phone with a different representative. All in all, U-haul needs to better orchestrate and communicate with its costumers in order to ensure appropriate customer satisfaction and higher quality service. This was my first experience using U-haul myself, but it was almost more hassle, stress, inconvenience, and a nuisance than it was worth, and I have very little interest in using U-haul again for future moves unless there is no other option.
