Well, the man in charge there needs a lesson in customer service. Also,when I made the reservation online the message was that I would not be charged until I returned the trailer. He made me pay upfront. When I questioned him about it he was very snappy.

They didn't go through that I would be charged for mileage on the local rental. The final bill was way over what I expected and had I known, I would never have rented the truck. I consider that as deceptive advertising and quite possibly illegal. I will be taking this up with the fraud division of the state Attorney General's office. I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in U-Haul and will probably take my business elsewhere from now on.

The store was suppose to open at 9am. We were there to drop the truck off at 8:45 and waited until 9:30 and no one ever came to open the store. Completely ridiculous!

Filthy dirty. Have a someone live be available to answer phone instead of leaving a million messages. Trailer had insufficient tie offs. The holes in middle sections for tie offs were too small to tread anything through. Useless.

RENTAL EQUIPMENT WAS NOT READY AS SCHEDULED: I was very dissatisfied with the lack of service I received and the uncaring/unconcerned attitudes that I received on the date of pickup. My reservation pickup was confirmed for 12 noon, then I received a call on the pickup date that it was changed to 1 pm. When I made it to the uhaul location at 1 pm on State street, the door was locked and no one was there. I called the office number and Katrice said she was at the hospital and the other guy was gone. I waited 30 minutes and still no one showed up. I tried calling again, but my calls were ignored. I drove to the uhaul location in Pearl and the staff tried calling Katrice, several times, but no one answered until around the 3rd call and gave this long EXCUSE as to why they were not there. I DID NOT RECEIVE MY RENTAL EQUIPMENT UNTIL 4:30 PM EVEN THOUGH IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE READY AT 1 PM… AND I WAS ON TIME FOR PICKUP. I paid movers who were not able to move anything. Then I had to pay them for additional hours once uhaul provided me with my rental equipment. I also had to drive to 3 different locations (wasted time and gas) before my rental equipment was provided. I was told my Larry (I think he is a district manager) that I would receive an immediate $50 credit upfront when checking out at the Ridgeland location; however, that was done either. I spoke with several people throughout the day while waiting on my rental equipment to be found and prepared for me…. The uhaul representatives that I spoke with throughout the day did not "own accountability" for their mistakes. I had two people, including a supervisor, tell me there's nothing they could do. Really? Is that what you tell a customer when your company is responsible for the issue that has occurred? I was told by two different representatives that the Uhaul guarantee credits your account $50 however that was not provided. At this point I think this situation merits more than a $50 default credit. I am requesting a refund $100 to compensate me for my gas that was used driving to 3 different locations, my time on the phone back and forth and the money paid to movers while I was waiting on rental equipment that should have been ready by 1 pm.
