From reservation to drop off, the folks at U-Haul Moving and Storage made this a quick and easy vehicle rental. Talk about quick....took about 5 minutes to pick the cargo van up and about 5 minutes to do the final paperwork when I dropped it off. All the staff treated me with courtesy and respect. I will definitely do business with them again.

While i was checking the truck i was pierced by a needle, because of which i had to wait and get a tetnaus shot at the doctor and being from Canada i was charged a hefty amount for vaccinations. No one solved this issue at Uhaul , ridge Rd. Rochester). I was charged extra inspire of having the gas filled full. Would never recommend anyone for Uhaul and would rather rely on private furniture delivery.

Only complaint is that when I called to extend my rental time it took almost 7 minutes for someone to answer the phone for a 45 second discussion. Not the end of the world but definitely something to work on.

The personnel that helped me was rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. The manager, which I found out was the Regional Manager, Will, who checked my vehicle in would not look at me while speaking with me and while I spoke with him. He was also dismissive and short with words when I asked additional questions. Never again.

The trailer swayed back and forth for 2400 miles needed sway bar set up. I wont rent again or refer anyone unless there is a sway bar system, it was pretty scary when it started swaying and down hills were the worst The people who helped me were great.

The experience was horrible. When I called to complain, I was told a senior manager would call me back, same guy I dealt with in the store called me back and argued with me about my complaint until I just hung up. What a horrible experience I will never use uhaul again bc of this guy and an $11 charge. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

only 1 employee was working when picking up and dropping off. there was a very long line of people and took forever. the vehicle was fine. and the employee was friendly. But he should have had more people helping for a busy Saturday

Truck had no a/c, RR turn & brake light not working, multiple "primary brake failure" warnings for no reason, roadside assistance gave us a hold. Don't send defective equipment out.

Everyone was kind and very helpful. However the truck was not in good working condition. The truck took over $500 in gas because the gears would not shift correctly and the rubber seals around the windows were coming off.

The staff was great. The online rental system is worse than useless. Booked a truck online from one location, got no notification at the end of the check out or text or anything to draw attention to the fact that I was not, in fact, getting the truck from that location. Went to pick up the truck and was told it wasn't there. It put me farther away and way behind schedule. Not to mention I had to pay extra mileage for this extra distance with no compensation for loss of time or inconvenience. Then the cables/spring on the rear door got jammed and I had to waste more time trying to get the door to stay open and get it close without falling on someone or losing my belongings out the back...junk equipment. Nice staff at the Irondequoit location, but thats it. Victor not at all and the whole rental process was nothing but a ton of stress and inconvenience. On a day that's already long and exhausting.

All I can say is WOW! And that is not a compliment. Worst experience I ever had at a U-haul, and I will never rent from them again. Ryder from now on no matter how much more it cost. I reserved the truck for Saturday July 11th 9am. I arrived at the location and had to wait over 40 minutes to get service. Todd Penlon looks up the reservation and asks for my license. I hand it to him. He tells me there is a problem, that my license is expired and literally flips my license back at me and it hits the floor! This is all on video by the way. I pick it up and tell him there is no problem my license is valid until 2022 and point it out to him. His response is "well that is not the date entered in on the reservation". Seriously you can't read the license and discern that it was not expired, not flip it back at me and understand it was a typo! Todd tells me the truck is outside all ready to go. Now he specifically asks "please swipe the card that will be charged for this transaction". I swipe a different card than the one we used for the reservation, as that is where we wanted the charges to go. Get the truck. what a coincidence, it's the same truck we used three years ago, with the same AZ plates and the same ABS light on! Nostalgic I say. Mom's attic was filthy, had to go back inside and tell Mr. wonderful that there was no appliance dolly as was requested on the reservation. He retrieved one and handed it to me. I kindly put it in the truck for him. Took pictures of the vehicle as well as the instrument cluster, just in case. Tuck was horrible. The radio did not function, ABS light was on, steering wheel was loose and floaty, and the check gages light kept going on at every stop. Turns out the oil pressure would drop from 40-45 psi to 15-20 psi when at a stop and caused the light to go on. I returned the truck Saturday evening, after putting $30.00 in gas to get it back to when I received it, took more pictures of the instrument cluster to verify mileage, and placed keys in drop off. Good riddance. at least so I thought. On Monday July 13th, I'm checking my financials. Two separate charges where placed on the card that was used to reserve the truck, not the one we swiped at the U haul store! I stopped by the store and spoke to Lorenzo who was very polite and professional but said he could not help but he would get David (no last name even when I asked) the assistant manager who cold. Explained everything to David and at this point demanded the rental be free due to all the issues and putrid customer experience I have had. David said all he cold do was reverse the charges from one card and charge the card we swiped, but would have the have the video looked at in order to determine if the rental could be free, but he could not do that it had to be the store manager (Jason, again no last name even after I asked for it). I asked for the name of the district manager and was told by David it was Todd. When I asked if it was the Todd that took care of

The trailer leaked water all of my furniture, when I explained to the associate he said thanks and that he would tried to fix it. I had a 7 PM return time and all he wanted to talk about was how I was late when I had been there at 6:50 and the only reason that he said I was late was because if he would shut his mouth and do his job I would not have had to wait in line for almost 20 minutes. I was annoyed that he offered no compensation since I rented an enclosed trailer to protect my things and leaking water and on my furniture causing water spots was no concern of his.
