the truck is due to be put out to pasture. the ride was horrible: brakes stuttered, transmission jumped and bucked, and the smell of gas filled the cab each time I stopped. the customer service was very good.

I ordered a pick up and when I got there they had me down for a cargo van ...I had to come back in the afternoon and they only gave it to me three hours not 4. I was rushing all over town to get it back on time. the staff was nice but I should have complained about the time that was given. I will go back again but I hope it will be a better experience.

The location did not tell me that I did not need to pre-pay or mileage or the cost of pre-paying for mileage was the same as the post move cost. I lost money paying for extra miles I never used.

The Wills Rd location is very busy, and the team there works hard to keep things flowing. I had two very successful rentals of the 5x9 trailer with ramp. And had the trailer hitch installed there first. I'm happy with everything, keep up the good work Wills Rd U-Haul!

When I opened the trailer to begin filling it, it was filthy. There were chunks of mud. Considering I was transporting mattresses as well as everything for my son's first apartment, I was very upset. I called to complain, and was told the GM for the area would return my call. I never got any response. Mechanically the trailer was fine, but the mattresses did get dirty, even after we swept and mopped out the trailer. Not happy.

Hire staff that wants to do there job instead of looking at another hoping that he or she will do it for them. Worst experience with uhaul I've ever had at the Roseville location. But you guys have the business by the horns, so customer service doesn't really play a roll anymore, it's more of a take it or leave it attitude.

show up, help the customer timely and stop bitching about the hot weather and lack of help. After 20 minutes of waiting, your guy said I'll get to it when I can, I'm here alone and it's hot, I unhooked the trailer myself and left it for your employee.

i made the reservation 3 weeks ago. then i get a call the night before that i have to drive to a location 1 hour away. They gave me a credit which barley covered the extra gas of driving to the location and driving the truck back. Not factoring my wasted 2 hours plus having to take off work early. Then, i was charged an extra day day when dropping the truck off in roseville. Originally i wanted to pick up friday at 6 pm in Aptos...but was forced to pick up before 2 pm at the other location. very frustrating.... will likely lodge a complaint with yelp and BBB

The gas level was put on paper full tank when in fact the gas tank was 1/8 of a tank less. I went 13 miles total and put in 4gals of gas to put it on the full mark. Not cool U-Haul

It would be great to have a couple more check out stations & staff just for Saturdays. I was happy I showed up early because there were 5 people in line in front of me and at least 7 lined up quickly behind me, but only 2 U-Haul staff to handle it all. The staff were efficient, knowledgeable, and did a good job.

At my original pick-up location, I paid for blankets. I figured they were in the trailer. It wasn't until we were loading up that I realized I didn't receive them. We were still close by, so I called them. I was told, that because this was a one way trip, that the drop off location will handle my refund. When I got to the drop off location, that manager said the issuing dealer is supposed to handle the refund since they made the mistake, and I understand why. It was only five dollars, but it's the principal of the matter. The manager of this Roseville location wasn't responsible to give me a refund, but he happily did, and that is GREAT customer service. I appreciated the effort he took to take care of me.

When I picked up the truck, the employee seemed mad he had to get the truck for me. He didn't check the mileage or the gas level...which was wrong. I waited for almost 45 minutes to get the truck. I won't rent there again.

The line to check in and get the truck was very long, but the staff at the counter were working efficiently, keeping the line moving along the best they could. I reserved a 17' truck on uhaul's website and did not realize that it had a default of a 6 hour rental, I thought it was all day. I believe there should not be a default and that the customer should have to enter the number of hours they need the equipment before the reservation goes through. My biggest complaint about my experience is that when I received the truck, the keys and paperwork were put in my hand and off I went. When I returned, they went over the truck with a fine tooth comb, inspecting the interior, exterior, tires, cargo area, lights, etc. Shame on me for not reading the paperwork they handed over to me, but if they are going to inspect the truck so closely upon its return they should at the very least inform the customers that they should document any damage to the equipment prior to leaving the facility.

i had to wait 45 minutes to get the truck, big line on a saturday. It looked like the inside of the van windows hadn't been cleaned in months. It was really hard to see where i was going as i was driving into the early morning sun.

Whats with making me check the trailer lights when I drop off the trailer, and making me back it into a particular place before unhitching it from my vehicle. I was supposed to simply drop it off at the stop sign upon return to your yard.
