My experience was hell! This location fixed that...despite your HORRIBLE centralized customer service hotline! First of all, the customer service line reserved equipment at the bountiful location that they didn't have, putting me an hour behind schedule to start the day. So then I called 2100 south store, I thought, and made a reservation. Turns out your super-efficient customer service line booked equipment that wasn't ready to rent AGAIN! Luckily, the employee who actually works at the location was able to fix your mistake and got me on my way. Only 2 hrs behind schedule at this point... Your centralized "customer service" reservation hotline is bad for your business and your customers. I will rent anywhere BUT uhaul next time because of this. Some guy staring at a computer screen making reservations on what equipment "should" be there is not working! Until I can call the locations directly, so I can be sure to have what I need when I need it, I will not be using uhaul anymore.

It's not so much about the location, as the overall experience. We made our reservation for pick up in a different city entirely. The location turned out to be closed. We were promised a call which never came. We called back to customer service and sat on hold for 30 minutes. We asked where the reservation was, complained about the closed location and we were told our pick up was 35 miles away, in the City we were moving to. We had no choice but to go get it. So, we now are going to be charged for mileage we shouldn't have had to use. They had set our pick up time at 12:30, and not 9 am as we were told. This wasted a great deal more of our time. Then we come to the little fuel gauge they print to indicate the amount of fuel you should replace. In following that, I ended up giving about 3/8ths of a tank more than I should have. Add that to the additional mileage and we have been significantly over charged. Furthermore, I feel it was intentionally set up that way by the company agents. It brings questions into my mind about the fair practices of this company. Oh, I forgot to mention; the location we were supposed to be at had the correct size of truck, but the location we picked up at did not. Their truck was bigger. To the credit of the store employee, he didn't charge me the extra $10. But how much more gas did the bigger vehicle require? I spent over $75 on gas. Finally, I was a bit concerned with the vehicle. It would randomly jerk and shake if I got over 40 miles an hour. Sometimes the drivers door didn't seem to shut correctly, for no reason. For all the stealing they apparently do, you'd think they would use it for maintenance. I have made a formal complaint. We will see if they take it seriously.

Helpfull staff but the truck was basically a hazard. Steering was so loose the truck wandered and was dangerous. Truck cranked over and over and barely started at times. Transmision felt like I had been rear ended every time it shifted. Also gas gauge flu hated between 1/4 and 3/4. Never knew how much fuel there was. Difficult to return with correct fuel level. And the parking brake did not work.

I was given a pick-up location and when I arrived at that location it was closed. I was never notified that the location picked wouldn't be open. Instead, I had to call your 1-800 # to find out that my pickup location was changed. This wouldn't have been a big deal except I had walked to the original location as it was only a mile from my apartment. The new location was over 4 miles away. I had to walk to this new location in a giant windstorm/rainstorm. Normally, I wouldn't even consider writing this. But, upon rescuing the next location, they didn't think they had a vehicle to even rent to me. Obviously at that point my stressevel was on the rise.

I would not recommend this U-Haul location. The customer service was deplorable! I rented a pick-up truck and appliance dolly. I used and returned the dolly before the store closed to avoid leaving the dolly in the back of the pick-up and risk someone stealing it during the night. The U-Haul employee took the dolly, looked up the number on his tablet, confirmed the name and said I was all set he would get it checked in. Well, her never did. I received the bill this morning via email and they are now charging me $125 for the dolly that was returned. To add insult to injury, I cannot get a hold of the store directly. I keep getting routed to a reservation call center who in turn transferred me to the customer service department. I spoke to a customer service representative who made a "report" that she will forward to the regional office for them to look into. In the interim, I am being charged, my money is being tied up and can't get through to anyone to correct the problem. I essence, I am being inconvenienced due to the lack of diligence and follow through on part of U-Haul's employee. I will NOT go back to this U-Haul location and, most likely, will not use U-Haul if services or needed in the future. There are plenty of rental companies and for U-Haul to have these procedures in place that shift the oversight and mistake of an employee onto the customer is ridiculous and needs to be change.

?the agent tried to overcharge me on the gas, when he made me sign a contract with out me seen the actual gas cage, he also didn't re-set the mileage cage and I was not able to see the actual mileage that I put in the truck but what he came up with. not only that but they only allowed me to use the truck for 6 hours when in fact I paid for a full 24 hour day. I'm disappointed and will look to buy my self a truck instead

I want to take the time to say that I had the best and greatest experience here the employees are knowledgeable friendly and helpful Sabrina the gm went or of her way to help me she and her staff went above and beyond if you have a chance to stop in and let them show you what I taking about. Thanks Sabrina and staff will recommend that location at all my friends!!!!!!
