The computers were down when I went to pick up the truck, I had to wait quite a while, but I know this sometimes happens. The staff was very friendly and informative. When I returned the truck, the guy that helped me was very friendly, informative, as well and did this return quickly, which I really appreciated.

It would be nice to be able to call a store and talk to someone who is AT the the store and not a call-center and can't help me at all. I called wanting a 26' truck and got 14' truck. Complete waste of time and money, never renting a Uhaul ever again. I wasn't able to move anything I really needed to move.

The woman who helped us was very friendly and super helpful. She also suggested a later return, to both ease the stress on their parking lot and make our rental smoother. I was greatly appreciative. I used the express check-in online and would definitely use it again.

When we picked up the trailor that we rented the sales person advised us if we wanted to pay cash we would need to have a credit card on file, we obliged, after the return and cash payment, the funds have still been removed from my account. Very dissatisfied. In the future I will not go to Uhaul, instead opting for a different company, regardless of the price difference.

If you expect the truck to be returned with the same amount of gas as when you left; the truck should have a working gas gauge, When I returned the truck I was told that at that it only had 3/4 and not 7/8 of a tank and would be charged $60.00 for 2 gal of gas. ($50.00 service fee and $5.00 a gallon) When driving gauge bounced between full and 1/2 tank. After leaving to add gas and returning I was told that I would be charged for an extra day as I was "late". I was told to return truck by 5. I was there at 5:05. The attendant told me if I left and filled the truck up I could save the $60.00. I left and returned at 5:30. By the time the attendant got his manager to clear up the "late" charge it was 5:48. He then told me that I was supposed to be back by 4:45 and am an hour late. I was obviously irritated and the manager told me to loose the attitude. Truck was at least 10 years old shifted hard. I am surprised that it made our trip without breaking down. Worst customer service I have ever had returning a truck. I will be calling Penske to rent trucks for my business from now on.

The reserved truck had a dead battery so I was given a much older unit. The return check in process went well but the gas gauge did not move after I put 7.06 gallons in the tank and traveled only 47 miles. The wheel well blocks in the open bed were terrible to work with as I was moving pallets of product from one location to another. I had no idea that the truck was not dock high or had wheel well blocks as there was no training and the door was never opened until I arrived at the warehouse. Those discoveries required intensive labor to work around so I was highly disappointed. I should have rented a Ryder truck as I discovered this location did not have dock high trucks even available. Not a great experience.

Was doing a cooperate move and had a preapproved amount to spend. Went in twice to get boxes and packing materials both times it took them over an hour to get me squared away and the second time the person that was helping me told me that I would have to call and get the amount approved and said there wasn't anything she could do, on the way out I saw the person who helped figure things out the first time and he got her to call the number and get everything squared away. It seems like half the staff is doing most the work at this location and that they need to work on customer service skills, I understand they are busy but to lose a sale because they don't want to call a number is ridiculous. When it came to the actual equipment they were great but the couple experiences before that ruined the last experience I had before I got there.

This is the worst run store I've ever seen in any industry. While waiting in line I got to see one customer whose reserved truck wasn't available and when they could only offer a smaller truck, the agent wouldn't promise any discount for mileage based on needing to make additional trips due to the smaller truck. When they wanted to talk with someone else about the issue, the only other employee, who was in their garage was heard yelling that he didn't want to come into the store to talk to them. The next customer was just trying to buy three boxes, and the transaction took close to 10 minutes because the agent didn't know how to do a cash transaction, and when the customer offer to use a card to complete the transaction, the agent refused, saying he needed to learn how to do it. The next customer was trying to purchase a hand cart, but the sale failed several times because the item number for the hand truck kept showing in their system as propane. When the other employee finally came into the store to help after being asked again, they were able to find the right item number but the inventory didn't show they had any available, so wouldn't let them make the sale. One of the employees looked for a form or instructions to correct the inventory in order to let the customer buy the item, he gave up after a couple minutes, said he wasn't going to look for it any more and did not apologize. I was able to complete my rental without major problems (even though it took 30 minutes), except that they did not give me the furniture dolly which I had reserved. However, I did have problems when I returned the truck. When I realized he was charging me more than the original estimate, despite only putting 10 miles on the truck instead of the estimated 12, he claimed the gas tank wasn't full, despite the truck having more gas in it than when I left their store. The needle was touching the full line, I showed him the picture I took of the gas gauge and mileage when I left the store, and a receipt for the gas I put in the truck, and he replied "I'm the assistant manager, and it's our policy." He expanded on this when I showed him the fuel gauge, and he expanded his argument, saying that the needle needed to be past the full line and that it would take 2 gallons to fill it up, which would mean I used 4 gallons to travel 10 miles. He, nor any U-haul employee throughout the day, showed no empathy or interest in the situation and offered no apology.

First, even though I reserved the van the previous day, when I came in the next morning to pick up the van, it took almost an hour to get through the process even though there were only 2 customers ahead of me. Second and most importantly, I was instructed to bring the tank back full. I could have been a jerk and not gone to the gas station as the gas gauge suggested the tank was full. Rather, I did the right thing and stopped at the gas station to top off the tank. Much to my chagrin, the tank wasn't full as the gauge would suggest as it took over 4 gallons of gas to top it off. What pissed me off is the fact I drove a total of 15 miles, driving no more than 30 miles per hour, no matter how bad the gas mileage is, its not technically possible I used 4 gallons of gas. Clearly, the previous customer who drove the truck didn't do the right thing and brought back the van with less than a full tank. All in all, what was supposed to be a $20/day rental turned out to be almost $50. Prior to getting ripped off, I had every intention to rent a truck again as I had to finish my move. When I complained about the excessive gas charges and requested some sort of restitution, the person at the desk essentially said tough luck charlie.
