There were many customers in line including myself. However there was nobody to help in the rent desks. It wasn't until later that an employee came out and started helping us. I could have easily walked out with supplies unnoticed. Very poor service there should be at least someone in the front to let people know what to do

The representative was very unfriendly and seemed borthered by any questions being ask or if he had to explain some over. Truck was not cleaned dirt on the floor and the front counter was full of dust and the window inside was wiped down witha wet clothe and left.major streaks all over.

I was given a truck with only half of a driver's side side view mirror that made it very difficult to drive. I was also told that the van could move a queen sized mattress - I was not information that if you put a queen sized mattress and box spring in the van, that's just about the ONLY thing it can hold. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience and it could have easily been fixed. If I had just had the mirror or been notified that the van couldn't actually hold a studio worth of stuff AND a queen-sized mattress, I would have simply gotten the next size up and had a better experience.

Reservation was made for kitty hawk location and last minute it was moved to Austin Hwy location. Spoke with a representative over the phone why my reservation was moved... was not able to explain or give me some type of credit. So finally get to location huge line and only one person. Finally next and guy gets vehicle and hands over keys no walk through no nothing just here you go. Pick up had low pressure on one of the tires due to the light kept blinking but still nothing was done. Took off came back around 6 hours later to drop off truck. Another guy was there who ordered me to do his job and get the mileage off the truck and see the gas gauge since he could not stand up-gout.

When I arrived to pick up my trailer that had been reserved for days, the trailer was not available. I had to take a smaller trailer or go to a different uhaul dealer. I chose the smaller trailer and made the move. All came out in the end since the weather was nice and some boxes could ride in the back of my truck on the 300 mile trip to Dallas. I am not sure how you can make a customer bring back his trailer on time, but to me, the $50 fee you are charging HIM for bringing back the trailer should be applied to MY BILL, since I was the one inconvenienced, Uhaul still got him for an extra day of trailer rental. I could have driven to another uhaul location to get a bigger trailer but it would have put me past my time deadline to get where I needed to go.

You're pretty well organized already! I was impressed when a gentleman came out to the truck as I was pulling in to return it. He had a device that he entered all of the information he needed on the vehicle and triggered my return credit right from the spot, didn't even need to go inside to return the key. Awesome procedures!

This was a location that assisted after my reservation online preferred location was routed to another uhaul dealer more than 26 miles away. Neither facility had the size I reserved 3 days ahead of schedule. This location had wonderful staff-Steve is awesome!!! He took care of getting me a truck- the size needed at his store in less than an hour. After the first disaster I called the first rep Bianca pretended she was going to assist and blind transferred my call to Christy who was rude from the start. I didn't even know I was being transferred. Customer reps need to know that it does not cost them but it foes cost the company when they do not treat the customers respectfully. I hope uhaul will improve its call center and online services. Also I was not provided with the 50.00 payment promised if the dealer does not have your reserved truck available. I would appreciate having it. Thank you. Jannie Gafiuk

Train your people to show customers how to operate your trucks. I went in and specifically asked your man if there was anything I needed to know about operating your 26' truck, and specifically the overdrive. He did not show me one thing and simply gave me the keys. The door panel rattled so bad I stopped in Corpus Christi and had your u haul center there put a new rivet in the door which fixed the problem. I drove for hours and found I was getting 6.2 miles per gallon instead of the ten you advertise on your site. I called Austin Highway and they told me to call corporate service and I talked to Robin who said the truck should be getting 10 mpg. She said she would note the problem. The wind noise was very bad at 70 mph and the brakes made a loud sound when I turned at slow speeds. I finally looked down and decided to push the downhill button, and it fixed all the problem with the low mileage. I talked with 4 of your people and not one of them was trained well enough by your company to tell me the button position was the problem. It was a very stressful trip knowing I was only getting 6.2 mpg and the fuel was going to cost me a fortune. I ended the trip running out of gas 12 miles from Lebanon,Tn. because the fuel warning light on the truck did not work. I have frozen the charges on my credit card and want u-haul to make some kind of allowance for the extra fuel I paid out and not training their people properly. You are a large company that rents large and potentially dangerous equipment and your people need to show customers how to use it, and certainly be more knowledgeable about the equipment they lease, ie the downhill button and other features on the truck. Please get me a reasonable allowance for the fuel and aggravation to clear this matter up. All your people were nice people and the issue is not about them. Sincerely Craig Holland

We drove 1300 miles and when we explained that the tires were out of balance and anything over 68mph would create the most extreme vibration the response was "We don't care about that" Well WE DID. It was ridiculous that this truck had "just come out of service" and this was the condition we had to ENDURE for 18 hours. Also this truck would lose power at 73 mph (governed, I assume) as multiple other trucks our size pulling trailers with SUVs flew past us. Overall the truck was not "just serviced" or your QC needs a serious overhaul.

The gm managed my reservation..he double charged me and cancel my reservation in the process :/ also we were sent to a UHual i. Boyton Beach with no storage, when I is specifically asked for one!! Steve and Travis are awesome!!!! They resolve the problem with the cancelation!!!
