I reserved the haul. I was told I could only have it 4 hours. (Always rent 24hrs.)Even though it would be a little tight I took it. I reserved for the 4. When I went to pick it up I was told I could only have it for 2 hours. When I told them I was going to call corp. to do a complaint, all of a sudden there was a truck not for 2 or 4 hours but my usual 24 hours!! I've rented MANY times from fm78, never had a problem with them. I have no plans to ever rent from s.w military ever! Nor will my sons when they move next month!

They gave us a car trailer with an almost bald tire and the a weld was completely broken on fender. We asked them to change tire and they refused, call toll free uhaul and they were no help either smh.

Have a full tank of gas from the beginning of the rental so that when we return the truck we just have to fill the tank all the way.

Drove the truck about a mile and a half to location to load. battery was dead truck would not start again, had to go thru roadside service even with the store less than 2 miles away. Had to wait almost 45 minutes until I was told I could load the truck. Person and Roadside service and the man that came to fix the truck were excellent.

The process you use is extremely slow and tedious. I don't know what kind of software you use but I'm sure the process could be sped up. More importantly you do not have enough people working at your locations, so people have to wait.

We rented a 24' truck, the service was average; however, the truck needed work on the front end suspension. It was hard to handle on the road at certain speeds and at times somewhat dangerous. I was not asked as to the performance of the vehicle or my satisfaction with the vehicle or service upon return. Vehicles need to be inspected for safe use before renting out.

U-haul schedule my reservation incorrectly. When I call I told them that I was going to pick up the truck at 6:00pm on 2/27/2015. They call me on 2/27/2015 at 1:45pm and cancelled my reservation because I did not pick up the truck at the reservation time (12:00pm) I call three time until a customer service representative attend my call. I explained to her (Denise) what happen. She told me that the reservation was cancel because they did not had the truck available for me. She reschedule a reservation for a bigger truck but she told me that I will have the truck only for 12 hours and that I need to returned the truck by 7:00 am on 2/28/2015. When I got to U-haul at 1826 SW Military Dr. they told me that I needed to returned the truck that same day at night and not at 7:00am next morning, that I was LUCKY THAT I GOT A TRUCK! What kind of Customer Service is this!!! I got truck, I moved and I returned the truck at night like they told me! Worse Customer Service EVER!

Communication is key when you need to drop off truck to another new location due to no space at original place and when dropping off at another location we should not be at fault to pay going over the extra miles

First of all I call the 1800 number and reserved and told her the zip code I needed to pick up and drop off my rental and my time of pick up so I get to location assuming that it was where I had rented from before no notification on my pick address well I get there and the man says to me mamm ur not here at this location so of course I was upset then I call the other location and they have me for a later time and of course I hung up angry disappointed and the clerk called me back and mamm we had a cancellation it's a bigger truck and at the same price I told her I'm on my way she saved my day . Excellent job military and 35 location ??

To improve customer experience I would have polite employees. Being told to pull up to the trailer location when I don't work there and have no idea where the trailer I want is located in the thirty or so trailers. I even reserved the trailer and assumed it would be near the front, so I asked for better directions. That got me a thumb over his shoulder to the lot full of trailers and was told "just back up to the corner, and I'll send my guy out to find you". Square lot four corners whole lot nothing but trailers. Went out side and drove in circles till "his guy" came out and asked me what I was there for. He hooked up the trailer and told me to go back inside to fill out the paperwork, which I handed him already and told him the paperwork was done. He turned around with my paperwork and walked away without saying another word. Before making it inside the first guy comes out and says "you can leave" wanting my paperwork back I still had to walk up and ask for it.

The truck shook alot while driving it seemed like a tire had a ball on it.the shocks need to be changed. I was not comfortable driving it so I took it back early.
